Nikki Jayne is the new Miss XBIZ Summer 2008

Right now there is a small adult gathering going on in Las Vegas for industry professionals and as part of that event they held the Miss XBIZ Summer 2008 event.  Competing for the title were a total of 10 girls including Vivid’s new starlet Nikki Jayne, Alyssah Simone and former Vivid girl, now Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross as well as Penny Flame, Sunny Lane, Joanna Angel, Renae Perez, Tricia Uptown, Puma Swede and Moxie Maddron.

First place was awarded to Nikki Jayne, the second place winner was Alyssah Simone and third place went to Kayden Kross.  You can read all about the event at XBIZ.  Contest judges included XBIZ owner Alec Helmy, Vivid contract performer Sunny Leone, CC Bill’s Ron Cadwell, Steve Lightspeed, Albert from SilverCash and Jenni Dahling.

In the end, Nikki Jayne won with a touch of British charm, telling the judges that she deserved to win because she was the “freshest face in porn.” A confident stripper strut in her white crocheted bikini and a dance performance outfitted as a sexy cowgirl was what ultimately got her the winner’s tiara.

Fayner Posts: Flash back, if you will, to last week’s AVN Award show. I’ll give you a few minutes, as I know how behind schedule one becomes after attending the convention. You got, it? Good.

So this is what I know happened. James Deen was sitting in the front row with his girlfriend Joanna Angel. Jenna Jameson and her boyfriend Tito Ortiz were sitting at the next table over.

James lit up a cigarette. Tito saw this, stood up in Deen’s face and screamed, “You better put that fucking thing out!”

James stood there allegedly like a deer caught in the headlights. “Me?”

“Yeah you! Put it out!”

James did.

Apparently, that was a smart move. But I wouldn’t know ’cause I don’t watch grown men rub testicles while fighting.

NAKED AMBITION NYC PARTY

On the guest list for the event were alt darling Joanna Angel, media darling Ron Jeremy, and octogenarian Jamie Gillis, along with Luc Wylder of Fallen Angel glory and his delicious tasting wife Alexandria Silk. Mmmmmm. Silkyyyyyyy.

“As a society we are so repressed, but we still have a fascination and titillation with who these people are,” Grecco said of the adult film industry talent he photographed for the book. “I approached the project as both a serious portraitist and as a documentarian, that’s why along with the people I included a series of still life work of the accouterments of their world. It’s a fascinating view.”

The book features over a hundred porn stars like Jenna Jameson, Ron Jeremy, Tera Patrick, Ava Rose, and Janine and SHOULD NOT be confused with the book NAKED AMBITION written by former porn PR whore Carly Milne. That would be tragic. It also features my friend Halcyon Pink from HUGNATION with his ex Tassy.

It is selling well I hear, despite his original fears that it was all porny and no one would buy it, because, you know, it’s got nakey people in it. He’s an artist though, and not a dirty pornographer like me, so don’t get it twisted. Personally I didn’t see what the hype was all about. I got the book, flipped through it once, and gave it to a homeless guy to wallpaper his new cardboard house.

I’m such a humanitarian. I know.

BTW- You gotta admire how Ronnie just keeps catching the spotlight no matter where they shine it. Go HH!

        The original New Wave Hookers was established in 1985 by the infamous Dark Brothers. The movie put the brothers on the lips of everyone in and outside the adult business. To this day, Greg Dark is still working steadily doing music videos among other things. New Wave Hookers also gained much attention due to the fact of one Miss Traci Lords, who was later revealed to be underage in some of her films.
Twenty-plus years later, the legacy continues as punk-porn director and recent Vivid signé Eon McKai throws his preverbal hat into the ring of remaking this porn cult classic.
McKai takes New Wave Hookers under his wing and makes it Neu Wave Hookers with a slightly altered concept. In the new version, McKai uses a collection of girls who find the original video at a garage sale of all places and take it home to watch in between their trick turning time. I like how McKai flipped the male to female perspective here from the original film. To pull that off, he has a wonderful and talented cast of girls headed by the strong performances of Joanna Angel, Justine Jolie and Riley Mason.
The sex of course is thrilling throughout. I could watch Joanna Angel all day and not get bored, but the entire cast is exceptional with their oral, vaginal and anal skills throughout the film. The hookers are complemented by eager studs that really play off the girls to give Neu Wave Hookers a heated, yet fun chemistry about it.
McKai has taken his fair share of jabs for his film making, me included (ahem, Kill girl Kill 2, sorry Eon.) With Neu Wave Hookers, McKai completely redeems himself and clears any heads that had foggy thoughts about his film making ability. I think with Eon, he came out of the gate strong with Art School Sluts and everyone wanted that film or better with his next releases. We all know not many directors have a smash hit with every release. So cut McKai some slack. Even I should have heeded that advice.
The packaging for Neu Wave Hookers is superior. You get a three-disc set with Neu Wave Hookers and New Wave Hookers (the 1985 original) plus a bonus disc containing an abundant amount of extras. The cover art is also striking and really grabs your eye. This alone is a nice selling point.
Neu Wave Hookers had a lot of hype going in and it is up to you, the viewer to see if that promotion machine is justifiable. Call it “alt-porn,” “punk-porn,” or whatever you want. It is obviously not for everyone, but for the ones who do “get it” they can tap into a future classic with Neu Wave Hookers.
