While Jenna Jameson is pregnant with her twins she isn’t sitting around twiddling her thumbs. Nope. Apparently she’s been busy house shopping because TMZ is reporting her and Tito just closed a deal on her new pad.

With all this talk of Brittney Spear’s vagina and Pamela Anderson’s sex tape and Paris Hilton and her who knows how many sex tapes and Kim Kardashian, the daughter of the OJ Simpson lawyer fucking some guy who used to date Whitney Houston and Tom Sizemore, the Golden Globe-nominated actor, who mind you had rolls in 11 real movies from 2008 alone, did his own sex tape and then there is Mini Me from the Austin Powers movies with his sex tape and holy shit where was I going with this?  Oh yes I remember now … the line between Hollywood and porno valley is becoming more blurred each day.  For the love of God even Oprah has mentioned her vagina on the air, coining the word Va-Jay-Jay and catapulting it into mainstream speech.  And to make things even more confusing, former porn stars, leave porn go into the real movies and then play the roll of a porn star (aka Traci Lords in the movie Zack and Miri make a Porno).

So since I recently discussed the release of Jenna Jameson’s new movie Jenna Loves Pain 2, I thought I would do the same for a mainstream movie that looked rather interesting especially since realistically speaking there are so many celebrity sex tapes out there, chances are someone in this movie has one.

Did you know that Tim Burton is making a 3D version of Alice in Wonderland?  Well did you know there was also a porno version of this movie called Alice in Bondageland?  Oh it’s true!    In Tim Burtons’s 3D Version of Alice in Wonderland, we have some major stars signing on.

Anne Hathaway is lined up to join Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter for director Tim Burton’s adaptation of “Alice In Wonderland.”  Anne Hathaway is slated for the role of the White Queen opposite Bonham Carter’s Red Queen, according to the Hollywood Reporter.  Little-known Australian actress Mia Wasikowska has landed the lead role of Alice, while Depp will portray the Mad Hatter in pal Burton’s take on the Lewis Carroll classic.  The film, which is due for release in 2010, will mix live action with animation and will be in 3D.

With the recent news that Jenna Jameson’s studio (now owned by Playboy) Club Jenna will no longer be producing DVDs, effective almost immediately (to be phased out by the end of this year), it sort of leaves one wondering what is really going on. I spoke to a secret industry insider who has been in the adult video game for more than a decade, he gave me some very insightful information.   He tells me that video on demand has been a long time coming.  Here is what else he had to say ….




We started to phase out the sale of VHS in about 2000, and go exclusively DVD. The same movie on DVD, that we once sold on VHS was able to be produced at a $.50 each instead of $1.50. Beyond that, there was also an improvement in the quality of our product so it just didn’t make any sense to continue stocking VHS. It was that same year that everyone began talking seriously about the Internet as a distribution method and some even set goal dates of 2005 to 2010. It was that year that Larry Flynt himself was in Vegas and said something to the effect of, DVD is nice but VOD is the way of the future. Some idiots laughed him off, sure that DVDs would be around for the next 20 or 30 years. Time would prove Larry Flynt correct.




Club Jenna may be the first major studio (if you can call Club Jenna that) to phase out DVDs but they weren’t the first to think about it or start investing in making it happen.  Studios like Vivid would seriously begin looking into distributing their movies through the Internet this same year.  Through the Vivid website, a member can watch about 800 of the Vivid titles, for one monthly price.




As Internet retailers report in some cases as much as 90% drops in sales, VOD “theaters” that have begun to pop up like AEBN, you can rent thousands and thousands of movies, including all the titles from major studios like Vivid, wicked Pictures and Digital Playground.  Pick the movie you want to watch and download it.  No need for a DVD there and no drop in sales either.  These sites are reporting record growth, despite the sluggish economy.




Truth is, VOD is coming whether we like it or not.   It’s also why you hear rumors like the ones posted at Adult FYI about “secret” meetings by studio heads and other big companies having meetings trying to fix a higher price for current VOD titles.  VOD titles may be cheaper to distribute, but movies still cost money to make and larger studios want a bigger cut per sale.  So what that means is, right now you may be able to get a movie for $7 through those VOD theater websites, but in the future that same movie may cost you $12, that is if these studio heads get their way.




Who knows.  Everything this changing so much right now.  It’s crazy and this Club Jenna thing really just pushed things forward faster than most expected.  With Club Jenna leading the way other studios will follow suit.  It’s al just a matter of time.




DVDs aren’t just out in the porn world either.  Mainstream companies like NetFlix and Blockbuster Online are already toying around with VOD distribution models and by all accounts are having great success with them.




When most assumed the next big thing in porno movies would be hi def or bluray, in reality that’s not a market big enough to invest must time in.   It’s to niche and expensive for most people.  I mean we would all love to be able to afford to pay $70 per movie for the Bluray version, but the reality of the situation is, the economy sucks and people don’t want to pay more for something. If nothing else, we can say that Jenna Jameson may have lead the way for the outing of DVDs, but the economy really is the driving force behind that. People want more porn for less money.

News recently broke that Playboy will be phasing out DVD productions, both XBIZ and AVN ran stories about the Playboy changes including their plans to layoff about 80 employees.  So al of this got me curious how such a thing would effect other Playboy holdings such as Jenna Jameson’s Club Jenna, who obviously is big into DVD sales. And if Playboy does plan on cutting ALL DVD production, including that at their owned asset Club Jenna, what will they do with all those contract girls.  Will they be in the business of making only Internet porn?

I had once heard a rumor that Playboy wasn’t happy with their purchasing of Club Jenna because they weren’t quite a profitable as they thought they would be, so maybe screwing them wouldn’t really matter so much to them.




“Our goal is to return the company to solid profitability in 2009,” CEO Christie Hefner wrote in a letter to employees. “When we reported earnings two months ago, we indicated that we expected to reduce expenses by $10 million, with approximately half coming from corporate and other overhead and the other half from the publishing and television businesses. Today we are announcing the specific actions being taken to achieve those goals.“




Hefner said that Playboy will continue to increase its focus on Internet content delivery and other digital media platforms while phasing out DVD production over a period of several months.




This news didn’t come as a big surprise to investors because earlier this year she was quoted as having said, “Traditional media are facing a secular shift as a result of changes in consumer behavior and the migration of advertisers to new platforms. This has created a challenging environment for our print and TV businesses, which has been compounded by the current macro-economic climate. However, we believe that the changing media business model also creates a number of opportunities for us, both because of our globally recognized brand and our profitable existing digital businesses.“

I made a call to the Playboy offices today to see if I could find out companies like Club Jenna. Club Jenna does have a popular website but it also makes a good portion of their money through DVD sales, so how would this decision effect their business operations?  I had a hard time finding anyone to actually speak with about it that knew the answer to my questions.  To be frank, it wasn’t that they didn’t want to speak with me because to be honest, I found everyone that I spoke with to be extremely friendly and upbeat and keep in mind I spoke with abotu 12 people over at the Playboy offices throughout the course of this investigation.  So when I finally got the right person he said that even he wasn’t sure and wanted to confirm before telling me something that may not be accurate.  He made a few phone calls on his own and the final verdict is that in fact Club Jenna, Spice TV, and Playboy itself will no longer be producing any more DVDs.

Our source over at Playboy said it’s not something that will happen over night but in time, Club Jenna will like all Playboy owned entities be ceasing their DVD productions.  DVDs are a thing of the passed.   The Playboy rep confirmed, It’s all about digital distribution now.

As far as the Club Jenna girls go, as of right no there are no plans to phase them out.  Club Jenna will continue production of movies only the distribution model will change.

Have you seen the new t-shirts that Jenna is hocking over at Hello Jenna?  They actually aren’t to bad for your lady friends.  So if you can’t figure out to give …. well come to think of it, you can’t exactly give your girlfriend or wife a Jenna Jameson t-shirt, that might be a tad uncomfortable, as I’m sure most women aren’t quite as open minded about you hanging out at websites run by a porn star, but you know they would make a great gift for your favorite stripper and with the holiday season quickly approaching what better time to think of such things.

I guess I should mention that the t-shirt being shown costs like $40 bucks.  I can’t ever recall spending $40 on a t-shirt but hey what the fuck, if you are really a big spender there is apparently a $50 version as well, which she describes as the SALE price.  SALE PRICE?!   I guess Jenna really likes her shit charging those insane prices.

Some things are more obvious than others when it comes to lying. I mean by now we all heard that smiling Bob isn’t going to make your dick any harder or any bigger and he faces 20 years in the big house for lying about it. I mean he had a nice run with his male enhancement product but in the end it didn’t enhance shit and well, I think most of us knew it. But sometimes those lies we all read about or see on TV aren’t so obvious or so harmless.

I was watching TV a few months ago when I came across an ad for a product about cutting your dog’s nails. The commercial made the product sound like the answer to my every pet related need and as such I bought the item in question only to find when it finally arrived some 6 weeks later that it was total and complete shit.  It wasn’t that they lied, they just led me to believe something that wasn’t exactly true.  It was deceptive, perhaps - but it wasn’t a flat out lie.

Sort of like saying a man is a disabled vet.   When one says a man is a “disabled veteran” it leads one to believe that he was injured at war.  You know like defending our country or some shit like that.  I mean there is honor in that and that is why that phrase holds special meaning.  However when one finds out that this person was at one time a Marine or may or may not have ever so much as seen any real shit, or ever even left the country for that matter, let alone gotten a single injury while in the service, but in fact was TEMPORARILY disabled by a slip and fall type injury while at work and hasn’t exactly been in the military in years would be yet another example of deceptive practices.




Sure the guy technically is a vet, I mean at one time he was in the Marines but for all we know he could have been dishonorably discharged. And sure the guy was temporarily disabled by obtaining an injury while on the job but he’s not a DISABLED VETERAN in the sense that we have come to attach special and honorable meaning to that phrase.  So implying otherwise would again be unethical.  In fact, some might even say fraudulent.  It’s ironic that while accusing someone of fraud, one would commit fraud themselves.

I’m not pointing any fingers here or even talking about anyone specific, just giving examples of lies, deceptions and well … I’m really getting off topic here. I think you get the point with this one. So let us move on.

So now let’s say you are a porn star. You are in fact a pretty popular porn star. You pay some guy or some company to create you a new website. The first thing I noticed was how much her new website looked like another website, that of porn star Nikki Benz. You can visit the two sites and compare the two for yourselves. Both use identical color schemes, both use the same blue and white swirls. It’s amazing how similar the two sites are.  I don’t know about you but I would be pissed off if I paid some guy to create me a website and launch it only to find it looks almost exactly like another porn star’s website.  Since Nikki Benz has had her website around awhile now we know that hers was the original.

Now here is where the shit just gets down right funny, well maybe not as funny as fraudulent but still you get the point.  Shyla Stylez apparently signed a deal with a company called Adult Star Products to manager her website and get traffic through their affiliate program.  It’s not uncommon for a porn star to do something like this.  In theory it makes it easier to handle your website because they are already setup to manager multiple websites like your own so in theory that just makes things easier.   So this is what caught my eye.

WHAT?  Shyla Stylez is the #1 searched porn star online?  Oh really?  Where did they get this tid bit of information?  I mean who the fuck would have the balls to actually say that out loud let alone post it as official or true?  Without even looking I can tell you a few names that are searched for more than Shyla Stylez and that includes Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick, Jenna Haze.  So then I actually put in a little effort and found that quite a few others also come up in search engines more than Shyla Stylez, such as Eva Angelina, Jesse Jane, Gianna Michaels and Amy Reid.

Even more insane is that the person who created her site put this little “fact” across every single page of her website. Let’s just forget the fact that it’s not even remotely true and put it up there anyway because it sounds good?  Is this the logic they were going with because it’s the best I can fucking figure out!

As I was laughing about this bullshit with a friend of mine, who has this horrible tendency to try and see the good in people, despite the obvious, pointed out that maybe these searches the Shyla Stylez people referred to was at a site like FreeOnes.  And you know come to think of it, I did seem to recall Shyla Stylez being pretty popular at FreeOnes so ya maybe that’s it.  But turns out that couldn’t be the case since well 5 isn’t 1 and that’s her spot when I checked.  So who the fuck knows what they were thinking.  Guess it’s just yet another example of stretching the truth.  It seems there is a lot of that going on lately.

Jenna Jameson recently posted some images on her myspace page which shows the first real signs of her pregnancy.  She’s not very far along and the photos show her “bump” isn’t quite so big yet.

On her Myspace page Jenna Jameson has decided to throw her support behind Presidential candidate Barak Obama. Besides posting a banner on her page and inviting her legions of fans to share it with their friends, she has also posted a bulletin which simply reads “History will be made this November“.   This is quite true, no matter who wins really.  Either we will have the first ever black President of the United States or the first ever female Vice President of the United States.  In the end we are living in historically notable times and Porn Star (who will not spread her legs for this industry again) Jenna Jameson wants you to note that she’s an Obama Girl.

Darrah Ford of Porn Star Babylon is reporting that Jenna Jameson may be pregnant, although admitidly it is through an unconfirmed source.

The NY Post is reporting this saying a source has told them. Jenna and Tito’s people had no comment. If she is pregnant and if having a baby can straighten out her life, then congratulations and I’m happy for her. But my experience with following celebrities for years is that they lie when they are about to promote something or if they just want some new publicity for the week.




Celebrities start dating for publicity, they get married, have babies, and adopt children from other countries for publicity. They even stage scandals and so-called feuds with rival celebrities for publicity. The thing to do now in Hollywood is get pregnant and sell the baby pictures for a starting price of a million dollars.




Jenna is no different. She’s been trying to go mainstream for years. And since leaving porn, it’s now gone into full motion with promoting herself to the general public. Neither she or Tito have confirmed anything. I’ll believe it when I see a belly showing. And she better stop the drinking and start eating if she really is pregnant.

I seem to recall a big ta do about Jenna Jameson pushing her pussy for Peta recently.  It was something about a pleather yourself ad (as seen below) but that’s really interesting but back when Jenna Jameson was a porn star, you know only a few years ago Jenna Jameson was in FUR!! OH YES FUR!

About her PETA ad Jenna Jameson had this to say … “I’ve worn a lot of pleather in my life. Anybody who knows me knows that I’ve kind of lived half my life in it. I love the idea of having choices outside of leather. The outfit that I’m wearing in the ad is so sexy that I suggest if people want to have a better time in the bedroom — then please explore the pleather side.”

Update: Apparently, Jenna saw a movie called Earthlings sometime in 2006, just after the photo of her in fur was taken and it changed her life. In addition to her new animal loving ways, she also claims to be a veterinarian and has spoken out again KFC’s cruelty to chickens.
