I don’t know what it means but I’ll leave all that speculation up to you.  In August Vivid Girl Nikki Jayne was said to marry porn star Ben Enlgish / aka Derek Hay, the owner of LA Direct Models.  As soon as we all heard about the wedding, it was “temporarily postponed”.  While some people gossiped about a possible breakup, they were still seen together as several key events including Derek Hays birthday party.   However a few months later and still no word of the wedding taking place and now this appears on Nikki Jayne’s myspace profile “What i wouldn’t give to find a soulmate, someone else to catch this drift“.  Do I smell a breakup between the British born duo?

I noticed a recent post on Meggan Mallone’s MySpace page that showed the new Vivid girl’s photos on a new line of Skate Boards.  I don’t know much else about these unique products but I thought they looked pretty cool so I thought I would share the image with you.  The girls shown are Sunny Leone, Nikki Jayne, Hanna Hilton and Meggan Mallone.

Hanna Hilton posted photos today on her MySpace page about her appearance at the Pirates II premier.  She attended the event with Derek from LA Direct Models (aka Ben English the porn star), his girlfriend / fiancée and fellow Vivid girl Nikki Jayne, and Lexxi Tyler.  AVN was there doing the red carpet, and covering the event for their website and that seems to be where Hanna Hilton got the photos.

What stood out the most was Nikki Jayne because she worse this cute little dress that we are becoming all to familiar with, mostly because she wears it all the time.   I think this is the third event I’ve seen her wear it to in about the last two months.  Here is a shot of Nikki Jayne and Derek (aka Ben English) at his birthday party just recently.   You may notice Ben English is wearing a brown shirt that is just like the black one he wore to the premiere.

Here is another shot from the Pirates II premier, which by the way I heard was fucking great.  They throw around the phrase “the best adult movie of all time” all to often but I think from what I am hearing at least this is the one time it may actually have been properly used.  You know what else I notice about this photo?  NIKKI JAYNE IS FUCKING TALL.  HOLY SHIT!  She towers over the others around her.  The LA Direct Models website lists her as 5 foot 9 inches tall but they also say Hanna Hilton is 5 foot 9.  Clearly Nikki Jaye is significantly taller than Hanna Hilton.  Hanna Hilton’s Myspace page also lists her as 5 foot 9 so I would guess that puts Nikki Jayne over 6 foot.  In the previous photo with Derek you can see that she is at least a few inches taller than him and he is at least an inch or two taller than Hanna Hilton.

I reported earlier this week that new Vivid girl Meggan Mallone’s Myspace page got deleted. We are still unable to find out what the fuck is up with that however are happy to report that AVN spotted Meggan Mallone ago at the Storetica 2008 convention with fellow Vivid girl Nikki Jayne signing autograps at the Vivid booth.  Oddly enough however, out of the 100 posted photos from AVN of the event, several were of Nikki Jayne, none were of Meggan Mallone.

I’m glad to hear she is still around.  I can honestly say she has to be one of the hottest chicks in the biz right now.

I have just been told that the planned wedding nuptials between owner of LA Direct Models, Derek Hay (also known as male porn star Ben English) and newest Vivid girl Nikki Jayne have been postponed.  No other details about their wedding have been given at this time.  Below you will find a photo of the lovely couple as well as a copy of the notice of postponed sent out to invited guests.

Our good friends over at LIB have been discussing what is a porn STAR and the making of one.  Curiously enough I touched on this very subject last June with my porn star vs porn starlet post.  Anyway, the story over at LIB starts off by displaying a photo of the newest Vivid girl named Meggan Mallone with the headline listed below which sort of leads one to believe that the author of the post might not feel this new girl really all that hot.  This keep in mind however was one of the first ever “official” photos given out of the lovely new starlet.

But quickly someone pointed out that not all girls were born stars, that some of them have to be made into something bigger than they are or may have been on their own. Case in point (or so the first case made in the LIB story) is Devon.  Devon first came onto the scene in 1998.  Since then she’s been under exclusive for Vivid, Digital Playground, Jill Kelly Productions and even Shane’s World.  Devon has probably held more contracts than any other starlet and every one seems to end badly.

Devon’s first movie was Country Comfort.  This was back when she was with Vivid.  She went on to star in major hits like Island Fever 2 with Tera Patrick and Stormy Daniels as well as Pirates with mega stars like Janine and Jesse Jane.  Long and short of it is, Devon became a porn star and 10 years later her name and face on a box cover still moves product.  That is after all what really defines a “star”, at least in this business.  But this spunky little blonde wasn’t always a star.  Before she was Devon the Porn Star she was a nobody from New Jersey.  Below is a picture of Devon I got from DearDevon.com, before she became a porn star.

Devon’s still cute, not so bad but a far cry from the mega STAR she would become.  The photo below is what Devon looked like after become a porn star.    You can see by the two images that become a STAR isn’t just about throwing some hot girl in a few movies but it’s about giving her a total and complete makeover and throwing a whole hell of a lot of press her way.

In the end the newest flock of Vivid girls, Meggan Mallone, Hanna Hilton and Nikki Jayne will be no different than Devon was 10 years prior.  They take a hot girl and make her a star. That’s their job and by the looks of the photos above, some companies do a pretty damn good job at it.

Devon is not the only example of this porn star makeover.  Jenna Jameson is arguably the world’s most famous porn star and well she too had her humble beginnings.  Years ago there was a young, aspiring starlet who wanted to make it big.  She couldn’t wait to be a star and that little blonde was none other than Jenna Jameson.  Sure we all know what she looks like now but how about 10 years ago?

Right now there is a small adult gathering going on in Las Vegas for industry professionals and as part of that event they held the Miss XBIZ Summer 2008 event.  Competing for the title were a total of 10 girls including Vivid’s new starlet Nikki Jayne, Alyssah Simone and former Vivid girl, now Adam & Eve contract star Kayden Kross as well as Penny Flame, Sunny Lane, Joanna Angel, Renae Perez, Tricia Uptown, Puma Swede and Moxie Maddron.

First place was awarded to Nikki Jayne, the second place winner was Alyssah Simone and third place went to Kayden Kross.  You can read all about the event at XBIZ.  Contest judges included XBIZ owner Alec Helmy, Vivid contract performer Sunny Leone, CC Bill’s Ron Cadwell, Steve Lightspeed, Albert from SilverCash and Jenni Dahling.

In the end, Nikki Jayne won with a touch of British charm, telling the judges that she deserved to win because she was the “freshest face in porn.” A confident stripper strut in her white crocheted bikini and a dance performance outfitted as a sexy cowgirl was what ultimately got her the winner’s tiara.

Well we may just find out because as reported today on TMZ, the fine folks who made the 1960’s TV show “Route 66″ are more than pissed that Penthouse is trying to turn their beloved show into something smutty. The best part of the lawsuit is that they suggested a new title for the movie “Sex in and Around the Pink Motel.” LOL

Vivid Entertainment has signed Nikki Jayne, a statuesque 22-year-old blonde English lass as the newest Vivid Girl working exclusively with the world’s leading adult film studio.

Born in Manchester, England, Nikki attended high school and college in the historic town of Wigan and there she formed a bubbly, outgoing personality that led her to pursue studies in the performing arts.

While holding down her first job out of school in advertising sales for a local newspaper, the 5′10″ blue-eyed beauty also competed in kickboxing matches and was a part time model. Production for Nikki Jayne’s first feature movie for Vivid will start at the end of June and will be directed by B. Skow. It is expected to be available for purchase sometime near the end of the year of early 2009.
