Last October we reported about Digital Playground signing McKenzie Lee and now 2 months later, that contract is done.   Don’t know what happened but damn, that was quick.  The official bullshit, I mean story about it is below.

VENICE, CA – McKenzie Lee has announced that she has amicably left her Digital Playground contract and is now, once again, a free agent.

“I want to make it clear that this was my decision,” McKenzie says. “Digital Playground has been nothing but supportive and I am grateful for their understanding.”

McKenzie explains that while she enjoyed being with one of the best companies in the adult entertainment industry, she feels that her career goals would be better served off contract.

“I have a lot of short term goals that require my attention,” McKenzie offers, “including two new websites that require content, a dance career, and a modeling agency to run. At this time it just makes more sense to have the freedom to work for other people.”

Despite agreeing to dissolve her contract just a few short months after signing, McKenzie has nothing but great things to say about Digital Playground.

“I am sure there is going to be a lot of talk about why I left,” she muses. “Everyone loves to gossip and it’s easy to spread rumors these days on the internet. The truth is I love the people at Digital Playground. I loved shooting with Robby D. I plan on working with them more in the future, just not exclusively.”

One of the first jobs McKenzie will perform off contract will be as the official host of the Backstage Cam for the 2010 AVN Awards. She’ll be interviewing all the winners as they come off stage. This footage will appear in the PPV, VOD, DVD and Showtime broadcasts of the program.

“It’s going to be an exciting night,” McKenzie laughs. “I’m honored that they chose me.”

Born in Leicester, England, McKenzie started dancing at a strip club in Birmingham, then later moved on to dance at clubs in London, working as a stripper for six years. She shot her first adult movie with Private Media and was quickly signed to Playboy UK, hosting Night Callers as well a British satellite TV show Babe Cast. Later McKenzie came to the U.S. to first appear on Night Calls on New Year’s Eve 2005, then act as interviewer for Playboy at the 2005 AVN Awards. There she met Jenna Jameson who signed her to an exclusive contract just three short weeks after she had started working in America!

Digital Playground inks yet another deal and this time it is with British babes McKenzie Lee. You may recall that McKenzie Lee was the AVN award winner for the 2006 Best New Starlet.   While Vivid is down to just very few contract girls, almost none really, Digital Playground continues to work hard build up their stable.  Actually come to think about it, all Vivid really has left is Meggan Mallone.  Their two newest girls AJ Bailey and Lia are nearing 30 or over 30 and let’s be really not all that great.  It’s so bad even Vivid keeps putting out a picture of AJ Bailey that doesn’t look anything like her.  It’s a picture that not only includes her in fake hair and eyelashes but has also been so airbrushed I promise even her own parents couldn’t figure out that was her.  So really that just leaves Vivid with Meggan Mallone.  But even if you could the other two, that still only leaves Vivid with three girls under contract.   How strange is that?  Monique Alexander still does some promo work for them but she isn’t under contract.  Sunny Leone has her own film production company.  Briana Banks is gone.  Hanna Hilton is no longer in the business.  Savanna Samson, I’m not really sure with this one.  I know she has a deal in place to make her own movies but then went back to making movies like any Vivid girl would.  I don’t really know what her agreement with Vivid is.   Anyway the point of this post is really about Digital Playground and their new bevy of beauties.  So let us continue ….
