Digital Playground is notorious for one thing, not for great porn but for how they treat their contract stars.   They fall over themselves to promote their favorite star Jesse Jane while at the same time ignoring pretty much everyone else.  It makes one wonder, why even put anyone else under contract if you are just going to threat them like second class citizens?  I truly never understood this about Digital Playground.

While I admit recently they have been giving some promotion to Riley Steele who I hear is being groomed to take over Jesse Jane’s spot as #1 girl when Jesse retires, what about the other girls?  Did you know that Selena Rose is still under contract with DP?  I sure didn’t.  I didn’t even remember she existed until a friend mentions her today as they came across her twitter page by accident.   And then there is the new girl Bibi Jones.  I quite honestly forgot about her too until I started writing this.  They did the same thing to Morgan Dayne, who they renamed Rio Valentine.

It just seems very strange to me how much attention they put into their favorites and how little everyone else gets.  I don’t understand it and I guess I never will.

 

Playboy TV Launches Playboy.tv

Today AVN revealed that Playboy recently launched the all new Playboy.TV.  The site is rather interesting and offers some of the exclusive content that is normally only available to viewers of the paid cable channel Playboy TV.  The launch of the internet version of the popular TV channel really helps to exposure the brand to a much wider audience.

Playboy.tv will offer viewers access to several of the exclusive Playboy TV shows including the reality show Sex Lives that helped to launch the career of Morgan Dayne.  As you may remember Morgan Dayne would later go onto to sign with Digital Playground for a short time as “Rio Valentine” but has since retired using the name.  Morgan Dayne’s first feature film Deviant went on to garner huge critical claim.  You can CLICK HERE to watch it online now.

Something I’ve always wanted to know is, why do breasts sag as woman get older?  Well turns out there is a very simple reason for it and it has nothing to do with gravity. 🙂  Apparently breasts get fatter as you get older. When you’re in your twenties, mammary glands are comprised of fat, milk glands and collagen. As woman get older, the collagen and milk glands get replaced by more fat. Unfortunately, the fat doesn’t make the breasts larger. It makes them sag more.

Also you also hear people joking about how her tits must way 10 pounds or whatever.  Well experts say that breast fat doesn’t really weigh all that much.  An “A” cup weighs in at a quarter of a pound while a “D” cup is about one pound.

Another fun boobie fact … did you know that an estimated 250,000 woman a year get a boob job?   The majority of women getting boob jobs will go up two full cup sizes and in the U.S. more than 2 million woman have breasts implants.

Thank you for posting that article.  I was released from my contract last month instead of at the beginning of my pregnancy, to my surprise as well as yours.  The fact that I was signed to Digital Playground was nothing but a blessing in the beginning.  It was the right move for me in advancing my career in the right direction.

I have to be honest though, the end result of me being released is a more attractive alternative than continuing to not have my films promoted to the fervor or extent of some of the other talent Digital has in their stable. I don’t know if it was intentional, but I think it was blatantly obvious to any onlooker that there are particular members of Digital that receive a substantially larger push from PR and the company as a whole.

I have nothing but gratitude for the opportunity, but my stamp on the industry being what it was, and where it was going, was not advantageous for me.  I’ve grown in leaps and bounds over a short period of time and I’m making decisions that are for the betterment of my family and I.  Good luck to the remaining roster of DP, I hope your run in the company goes better for you.

*** Personal addition – so I guess Morgan Dayne aka Rio Valentine learned the lesson all those before here did with Digital Playground, if you aren’t Jesse Jane, you are only there in some way to support the career of Jesse Jane. You are nothing more than an extra to DP and you are easily replaceable. The *ONLY* one that matters to DP is Jesse Jane.

Exclusive Morgan Dayne Update

Morgan Dayne (aka Rio Valentine) wrote in recently to give me an update about her life.   She tells me that she and Digital Playground have parted ways since she had the baby but that she is doing well and thanks all of her fans for wishing her a happy mother’s day this year.

Interesting to me was that she said they parted ways AFTER she had the baby.  The way Digital Playground PR stopped mentioning her, not even really promoting WHORE IT UP, her first feature for them, I would have guessed they had an ending of sorts long before that.

I don’t know how many if any movies Digital Playground has left to release for the short time she was with them but I did hear that Cezar Capone had one more movie he just put out about her.

Today is Mother’s day and it also happens to be the very first mother’s day for porn star Morgan Dayne (aka Rio Valentine).  Because I didn’t fell it was appropriate to post a picture of a newborn baby on a porn site, I have instead posted a photo of what Morgan looked like when she was 9 months pregnant.  If you want to see photos of her baby you will have to check out her myspace page.

DP Takes Rio Valentine Out of the Picture

Talk about a huge slap in the face for Morgan Dayne aka Rio Valentine, who turns out really is pregnant and well apparently Digital Playground isn’t really standing all that by her.  Not to long ago we reported that Digital Playground was not even listing her as a top friend on their MySpace page and within a few days of our report they corrected that.  It was then I just assumed that the story of them standing by her was true that them not listing her was a true oversight.  Now however I have photo proof I was wrong.  They have pretty much written her off and how do I know such a thing?  Well they signed Kayden Kross on January 1, 2010 and she is already in their new lineup of girls.  But you know who’s not shown in the latest Digital Playground ad?  That’s right – Rio Valentine.

We know those are individually taken photos of Katsuni, Janie Summers, Raven Alexis, Kayden Kross, Riley Steele and Jesse Jane because this ad was sent to print back in December of ’09 and that would have meant Kayden Kross was working with Digital Playground prior to her Adam and Eve contract expiring and surely they wouldn’t risk a lawsuit like that.  Right?  I mean despite all the rumors to the contrary.

Now back to the Rio Valentine part of the story.  As you can see Rio Valentine has been written off by Digital Playground, as they have not really included her in any special promotions throughout the entire year, even before she was showing and now they don’t even bother to list her in their print ads.

Heck they don’t even list her as a Digital Playground girl on their own website, DigitalPlayground.com and fuck they list Devon, Janine and Tera Patrick – girls who haven’t been under contract with them for years and years and years.

The good news for Rio Valentine is her show on Playboy TV (Sex Lives) is hot and that alone should get her some fame and quite a few new fans.

Morgan Dayne to star on new Reality Series

Morgan Dayne, who some of you by now know as Rio Valentine, the Digital Playground contract star who got pregnant right after her first shoot for Digital Playground so is now in temporary hiatus – will be starring in a new reality series set to air on Playboy TV.   The reality show is called Sex Lives and is set to premier on December 16, 2009.  Sex Lives is an adult roommate reality series currently airing on Playboy TV. It revolves around the experiences of 6 female strangers forced to live together and endure erotic challenges in Miami, Florida.

Produced in part by Club Jenna founder Jay Grdina and Bill Fisher, head of Cezar Capone, the series begins with an American Idol type audition process and ultimately follows the 6 selected female participants through a variety of daily challenges and nights out in South Beach. Half of the women chosen are aspiring fashion models, while the other half are aspiring adult actresses.

Thus the house is broken into two competing groups, Team Models and Team Pornstars.
