In what is probably no surprise to anybody, I found yet another Phoenix Marie pic with her doing her infamous duck face, this time she is quaking for Penthouse, while last time it was for Hustler.  Seriously, why the fuck has nobody told this girl to stop making that fucking face?   It’s like the chick who always wore the exact same outfit every time you seen her.  After 24 times in a row, someone would assume that people would fucking speak up about it, but ya no apparently not.  She can’t seriously think that is an attractive look for her, can she?

 

So what is the “Duck Face”?

While the pose seems to have gained popularity with the rise of social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook, the origin of the Duck Face is frequently claimed to be Derek Zoolander, as his trademark look “Blue Steel” has a similar appearance.

AntiDuckface describes it best ….  You know that face you make when you’re about to take that perfect picture of yourself for the internet?  You know, the pose where you push your mouth out in that sort of pout / kiss face to make it look like you’ve got big pouty lips, a super-defined jawline, and model-quality cheekbones?

In March of 2010, Redditor Theditor attempted to describe what he believed was it’s meaning and purpose.  “It’s kind of a mock sexy, from what I understand. Penthouse Pet of the year runner up Shawna Lenee is no stranger to controversy and issues with her stability and it seems she has yet another issue.  You would think by people people would have learned about her and stop booking her all together.


It all started today when the website The EMM Report posted a message looking for Shawna Lenee. They did it in a very light hearted way but long story short, Shawna Lenee booked an appointment with them for an interview and then confirmed it just the night before. However Shawna Lenee never showed up.
