What is a GOOD Agent?

A good agent is one that actively seeks out new work opportunities for you and keeps YOUR best interests in mind. He (or she) considers your entire career when making a decision about booking you for a job, not just the financial rewards but the long term opportunities for that particular job.

A good agent doesn’t just stick your photo and stats on a website in some database and hope that producers will pick you.  A good agent represents YOU and gets out there to find you new work, not hope that someone randomly picks you.

If your agent has 10, 20 or even 30 or more girls he is repping, how much time does he really have to represent your best interests?

Some agents will immediately dispute this and say bullshit, that is what a “manager” does.  Well then I must ask … if a manager is doing all of this for the girl then what the heck does she really need you for then?

So let me ask you this girls, in the last week alone, how many times did you agent actively call studios and producers to try and book YOU for work … and by that I mean not send out random emails promoting their AGENCY, I mean you and your best interests specifically?

Is your agent getting money from you ever time he books you a job and from the company he is getting you to work with?  Nice of him to be a double dipper like that.

If your agent pressuring you in any way to create a website with either their own company or some company they have a financial interest in?  How nice of them to have their own financial interests at heart, instead of what may actually be best for you.

A good agent has one job and one job only and that is to find you work.  His job isn’t then to try and leverage his talent roster to further financial opportunities for himself or his agency.

Think carefully about each of these things the next time you speak with your agent.

Don’t be a fool.

Don’t let people take advantage of you girl!

It’s time you start being proactive about your career and your success.  Start taking charge and look at the opportunities around you.  Are the people you are paying to make you a star really doing what is best for you, or are they doing what is best for them?

WTF is “Asians in the Library” and who is Alexandria Wallace?

They call Alexandra Wallace the ranting racist (Alexandria Wallace?)
She says thank you dumb fuckers for making her famous.

I guess I missed it because this news that recently came out about Vivid hiring the “Asians in the Library” YouTube chick to do a movie had me confused at fuck.

So I did some research and it turns out some blonde chick posted a rant about how there are to many Asians at UCLA and how it annoys the fuck out of her that they have no manners and won’t shut the fuck up when in the library. She bitches about how she is trying got study in the library but can’t because they are all going on and on and on and apparently this has made her a star …… a racist star, but a star nonetheless.

But in the end even if we don’t fucking agree with her she has every right to say it. It’s called the 1st amendment. Look it the fuck up people before you start bitching about what she has to say.

The LA Weekly is now reporting that Alexandria Wallace has dropped out of school.

Are some people really that uninformed?

It’s amazing to me how many people will quote Alexa as the word of God or as if it has any relevancy in terms of actual factual data or any form of accuracy.

When dealing with any two websites it never fails someone mentions Alexa ratings.  They mention how this site is better than that site because it has a better Alexa rating.  I can quickly come back and that with actual server stats that show you a site with an Alexa rate of 2 million has significantly more traffic than one with an Alexa rating of 500,000.  How is that possible you ask?  BECAUSE ALEXA ISN’T ACCURATE!!!

Why is this even still being discussed?  How do people not know this already?  Seriously.  After so many years of people proving time and again this very thing, how is it that there are still some people out there who don’t get this?

Visiting Alexa is much like going to see a psychic and requesting a palm reading so you will know your future.  Sure it’s fun and maybe puts your mind at ease just a little but it doesn’t really mean anything said is true.

You really think there is some line on the palm of your hands that will tell someone some magical secret information about you?  LOL

Well there isn’t any information you will find at Alexa that is accurate either.

I own a lot of websites and I keep track of how much traffic each site gets each and every day.  I know my traffic stats going back for years and years.  I also know the Alexa ratings of my websites.  I can look at see that Alexa will report one site at 800k while another at 3.3 million, yet in reality the 3.3 million site might be getting as much traffic as my friend’s site who has an Alexa rating of 35k and the site with an 800k Alexa rating gets 3 visitors a day.

I remember reading a post one day about a guy bitching how his wife didn’t get more award nominations and how the whole system must be corrupt because his wife site has a great alexa ranking.  So totally that means she’s the #1 porn star of all time, right?  Or at least top 10, right?

Truthfully, his wife isn’t even in the top 100.  That’s not being mean.  That’s just being honest.  It’s not saying she isn’t pretty or that she isn’t a wonderfully nice person.  Who knows, I don’t know her but what I do know is, despite what he claims about his site’s Alexa ranking, it doesn’t make his wife popular or even remotely well known.  She’s not in the top 100, or even probably the top 200.   That is the reality.  Popularity of a porn star has nothing to do with Alexa and it never well.  Alexa is just some random number.  It’s like saying here, pick a card any card and whatever random number on that card appears is supposed to magically mean something.  It just doesn’t.

So please next time you want to make some argument about something, don’t bother even mentioning your sites Alexa ranking because it makes you look like not so bright when you try and convince people how great you are because your sites Alexa ranking.

What the fuck is wrong with me?  After all these years in this business how the fuck could I have possibly missed this?

RICK’S CABARET NEW YORK GIRLS REVEAL OSCAR PREDICTIONS!

The results of the annual Academy Awards “stripper poll” from the Rick’s Cabaret New York Girls have just been released, and the sexy ladies have chosen the winners in all the main categories.

The Rick’s Cabaret Girls are very confident in their collective ability to predict the Oscar winners. “The frontrunner for Best Actor this year is definitely James Franco,” declares Rick’s Cabaret Girl Mackenzie, 36C-25-35. “They asked him to host the ceremony simply so he’d definitely show up to collect the award,” she says. “Well, he deserves it for sure,” adds Rick’s Cabaret Girl Martha, 33C-23-33. “His role on General Hospital just blew me away,” she continues.

The Rick’s Cabaret Girls think Franco, one of the busiest actors in Hollywood, needs to take a night off and spend it with them at Rick’s. “He’s also studying for a PhD at Yale right now,” exclaimed Rick’s Cabaret Girl Suzette, 36D-26-34. “He really needs to get over here and let loose,” she says, insistently.

The Rick’s Cabaret Girls Complete List of Oscar Winners for 2011:

  • Best Actor: James Franco
  • Best Actress: Natalie Portman “because she plays a dancer!”
  • Best Picture: The Social Network “it’s making history!”
  • Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale “because he has to stop yo-yo dieting for movie roles. Maybe if he wins, he can just start counting calories like the rest of us.”
  • Best Supporting Actress: Amy Adams “because she’s a natural redhead, and that’s really rare.”

All of the other categories are “too technical” for the Rick’s Girls to concern themselves with…

A steam bath for the Vagina

In what is sure to be a big hit with porn stars everywhere it seems there is a new trendy spa treatment … the vagina steam bath!

The LA Times recently ran this story about how they are supposedly good for you and can cure all kinds of things.  Let’s hope they can cure stinky pussy because as some rumors go, some people need this more than others.   I think you know what I mean.  Oh yes, I mean you.  Seriously if you can smell your fucking pussy yourself when you sit down on the toilet to piss then for fuck sakes go to your god damn doctor already.

Vaginal steam bath finds a place among Southern California spa options. A Korean treatment for the vaginal area is said to aid health and fertility. What’s missing is evidence.

Pungent steam rises from a boiling pot of a mugwort tea blended with wormwood and a variety of other herbs. Above it sits a nude woman on an open-seated stool, partaking in a centuries-old Korean remedy that is gaining a toehold in the West. Vaginal steam baths, called chai-yok, are said to reduce stress, fight infections, clear hemorrhoids, regulate menstrual cycles and aid infertility, among many other health benefits. In Korea, many women steam regularly after their monthly periods.

There is folk wisdom — and even some logic — to support the idea that the carefully targeted steam may provide some physiological benefits for women. But there are no studies to document its effectiveness, and few American doctors have even heard of it.

“It sounds like voodoo medicine that sometimes works,” said Dr. Vicken Sahakian, medical director of Pacific Fertility Center in Los Angeles.

Niki Han Schwarz believes it worked for her. After five steams, she found she had fewer body aches and more energy. She also became pregnant eight months ago at the age of 45 after attempting to conceive for three years. Han Schwarz and her husband, orthopedic surgeon Charles Schwarz, are determined to introduce vaginal steam baths to Southern California women. Their Santa Monica spa, Tikkun Holistic Spa, offers a 30-minute V-Steam treatment for $50. (The identical treatment is available for men, to steam the perineal area.)

At Daengki Spa in Koreatown, a 45-minute V-Herbal Therapy treatment can be had for $20 a squat. The steam includes a mixture of 14 herbs imported from Korea by spa manager Jin Young. The spa’s website claims the treatment will “rid the body of toxins” and help women with menstrual cramps, bladder infections, kidney problems and fertility issues. “It is a traditional Korean health remedy,” according to the website.

Across the country, chai-yok treatments are not easy to find. They are available in a scattering of alternative holistic health centers. The flashy Juvenex Spa in Manhattan offers its 30-minute Gyno Spa Cure for $75. A complete setup for a do-it-yourself steam — open-seated stool, boiler and herbs — can be purchased online at http://www.rakuten.com for $330.
