Is Eva Angelina finally back?

After the birth of her child, die hard fans have waited patiently for Eva Angelina to return to work and start making some new movies.  Although her official LA Direct Models page still says “returning soon” but just yesterday on Twitter she was talking about setting up content shoots for her official website probably with James Deen and Teagan Presley.  This is no doubt going to be great news for her fans who can’t wait to see her return to full time work in the jizz biz.

Seth Rogan in Hustler’s Barely Legal?

On Friday Seth Rogan was doing an interview on E! new doing this interview promoting the voice over work he did for his new animated movie Monsters vs Aliens but most recently he was in the news for his role in Zack and Miri Make a Porno.  However when the subject turned to his Playboy cover and how it was unique to have a male on the cover of the magazine.  He said he was honored but he also wishes he could appear on the cover of Barely Legal.

By the way during this same interview on E! Seth Rogan also revealed he is *NOT* on Twitter and the person on there pretending to be him, who although is doing a good job impersonating him, is not him.  He is a fraud.

Is Vivid behind with the times?

So I’m in the middle of a debate with a friend of mine about new technologies and the porn industry. I had seen this new thing on Fame Registry about the top porn stars of myspace and now the top porn stars of Twitter.  That is really what had spakred the entire disusion in the first place.  She was going on about Vivid and how great they were, blah blah.  As my eyes started to glaze over listening to her love of all things Vivid I flashed back to the top twitter list and you know what I remember not seeing?  There are no Vivid girls on the Twitter porn star list.  There are all these porno chicks who use twitter like Jesse Jane, Jessica Drake, Sasha Grey, Tori Black, Marie Luv, Teagan Presley, Alektra Blue, Stoya, but not one Vivid girl. There is no Sunny Leone, Meggan Mallone, Nikki Jayne, Savanna Samson, or Hanna Hilton.  There aren’t even any former Vivid girls like Monique Alexander or Lanny Barby.  So if Vivid is so with the times and up on new technology where are all the Vivid girls on Twitter?


It then got me thinking about their use of MySpace.  They really only started using MySpace less than a year ago.  I don’t understand how such an obvious marketing tool took them so long to be a part of but ya it’s true.  Vivid’s MySpace page only came to life a short time ago.   They did temporarily have one posted, but not maintained, it just sort of sat there dead by a contractor some time ago but in the end their use of MySpace really only came about just recently.


And what about other social networking sites like YouTube which screams for some movie trailers?  Despite my best efforts I could find no official Vivid channel however I did find one for Digital Playground.  They have not only movie trailers but not only that, I also learned that Jesse Jane is “the princess of dirty talk” and I even got to watch a video example of why she earned such a title.  Well actually to be fair, I did find a channel claiming to be the official Vivid channel but it was really a dead profile for the most part.  You gotta give it up for Digital Playground and Jesse Jane for the best use of new Internet based technologies for marketing.

So back to my rant, how is it that my friend justifies Vivid being so great and how they take advantage of new technologies?  Well she just rolled her eyes and wouldn’t finish the argument with me but I’m not really just getting off of my original point.


Where are all the Vivid girls on Twitter?  It’s a little odd that not even one of them are taking advantage of this new technology, don’t you think?

Alektra Blue goes Vroom Vroom!

Porn hottie Alektra Blue announced today on her Twitter page to all her friends and fans that has a new toy and no it’s not the latest dildo, it’s a very sexy Mercedes Benz CL63 AMG.  So what does she say about her new car?  “Omfg this car is amazing!! Why the fuck is twitter so popular?

Prior to going to Vegas I never once heard of this thing called Twitter. Now I seem to hear about it all the time. I get a new cell today and I’m talking about it here and there and no less than 7 times in the less than 24 hours I have owned my phone did someone suggest I setup a twitter account. So I’m not going to lie, I checked it out and you know what I seen? Two porn stars bantering back and forth about PMS. Let me just be the first two share this tidbit of information, WE DON’T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR FUCKING CRAMPS OR BLOOD COMING OUT OF YOUR PUSSY. What is wrong with people? Why the fuck would you ever feel motivated to share that with the world?


I can see telling your fans things like ordering Sushi or eating out tonight, what should I wear or even or that you are going on stage for your next set or that tonight you are going clubbing with some friends. But really there is a line one shouldn’t cross and that my friends is it.


I think some smart porn stars are making great use of new technologies such as debating with fans what they should wear to the AVN award show or discussing with their fans about their desire to buy a new car. I think those kind of things can only help your career but with all new technologies, you can have to much of a good thing.


I personally can’t ever imagine myself sitting down before dinner and texting the world that I’m about to order some sushi but I guess to each his own. I’m sure some people could never imagine sitting down in front of a computer and spending half an hour bitching about people texting about pms.

Anyway I have no real point to this post other than to just say I don’t get the world’s fascination with Twitter.  I’m just not that into sharing every second of my life with the world.  It’s a little to stalkerish for me.  But for those of you who are into the whole twitter craze let me take a moment to share one bit of advice with you.  There is such a thing as TMI.  Please for the love of God keep that in mind the next time you start texting your twitter followers.  Some things are really better left unsaid.


And if you think it’s not THAT big of a deal keep in mind that now for the rest of my life, or at least for a good long while, every time I hear the name of either of those two porn stars I won’t think of anything sexy or exotic, instead I’ll think about their tampon usage and that’s just not attractive.  And if you think that studio heads and booking agents don’t read twitter messages, think again.


In today’s touch economic climate, booking agents and studio heads and looking to work with the bigs that will maximize their profits and that means working with the girls that will sell the most movies, not the girls who seem to forget they are in a public place where their fans are, discussing vaginal discharge.  In the end what you tweet tweet about is your business, but that’s something you might want to keep in mind.
