Audrey Hollander has long been a popular performer with a legion of fans.  Yet despite her popularity, you don’t really hear a lot of about her inside of industry circles.  She seems to do her job, go home and that’s that.  She doesn’t have a facebook page, she doesn’t really do many interviews and until recently she didn’t tweet either.  While she isn’t really all that active on Twitter she does have a twitter page and for the 4th of July holiday she decided to do a series of photo tweets leading up to the 4th of July holiday in which as she put it, would kick off the 4th of July with a *bang*.

What Bill S.978 Means To You

There is a bill in the House right now called S.978 and if it passes it means that people who have copyrighted material illegally, could go to jail for up to 5 years.  So from what I understand is, not only do you face the default civil judgement of $250,000 per offense but now ALSO the criminal offense, which has its own punishments.

So next time you use a bit.torrent just keep that in mind.

 

S.978 – A bill to amend the criminal penalty provision for criminal infringement of a copyright, and for other purposes.

Makes unauthorized web streaming of copyrighted content a felony with a possible penalty of up to 5 years in prison. Illegal streaming of copyrighted content is defined in the bill as an offense that “consists of 10 or more public performances by electronic means, during any 180-day period, of 1 or more copyrighted works” and has a total economic value, either to the copyright holder or the infringer, of at least $2,500.

Now keep in mind this is the criminal aspects of the law.  You still are subject to face the copyright holder in civil court which allows them the default judgement of $250,000 per violation.

Guess The Gamelink and Private Rumors Were True

We’ve been hearing about a lot of problems lately over at Private Media Group and Gamelink, which they owned but it seems things are worse off than they let on as they were issued a noticed of delisting the other day.

Rumors are that they are bleeding crazy amounts of cash, as much as 1 million a quarter and are millions in debt and let’s not forget the lawsuits going on about their board of directors.   Recently a Nevada judge has invalidated the latest shareholders’ vote for the board of directors of an international adult media company.  Private Media Group Inc. is now required to hold a new shareholders’ vote in which a debt holder will try to install new directors.  While Private Media Group is based in Barcelona, Spain, its stock is traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market and it’s incorporated in Nevada – meaning it’s subject to Nevada and U.S. corporate laws.

Is this the nail in the coffin for the troubled company?

Compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5250(c)(1)

As previously reported, on April 18, 2011 and May 19, 2011, Private Media Group, Inc. (the “Company”) was notified by The NASDAQ Stock Market stating that because the Company failed to file its Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2010, and Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2011, on or before their respective due dates, it was not in compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires that a listed company timely file periodic financial reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a condition to continued listing of its securities.

On June 13, 2011, the Company received a letter from the Staff advising it that based upon the filing of the delinquent Form 10-K and Form 10-Q on June 3, 2011 and June 9, 2011, respectively, the Staff determined that the Company is now in compliance with Rule 5250(c)(1), and therefore the matter is closed.

Non-Compliance with NASDAQ Rule 5605(b)(1)

As previously reported, on May 24, 2011, the Company was advised by the Staff of the NASDAQ Stock Market that if the Form 10-K and Form 10-Q were not filed by June 3, 2011, the Staff would need to send a Staff Determination Letter with regard to the Company’s failure to comply with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5605(b)(1), which rule requires its Board of Directors to have a majority of independent directors. As previously reported, the Company ceased to comply with this rule on May 12, 2011, upon the resignation of Bernt Akander, an independent director.

On June 13, 2011, the Company received a letter from the Staff of the NASDAQ Stock Market stating that due to the resignation of Bernt Akander it was no longer in compliance with Rule 5605(b)(1). The Staff further advised the Company that due to the recent non-compliance with Rule 5250(c)(1), discussed above, and the recent non-compliance with Rule 5605(b)(1), previously reported in January 2011, which was cured in February 2011 by the appointment of Bernt Akander as a director, the Company would have until July 5, 2011, to cure the deficiency caused by the resignation of Bernt Akander, rather than the longer cure period which would normally apply under Rule 5605(b)(1)(A).

The Company expects to identify and appoint a new independent director to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Bernt Akander on or before July 5, 2011. If for any reason the Company is unable to comply with Rule 5605(b)(1) by July 5, 2011, the Staff will provide written notification (“Staff Determination”) to the Company that its Common Stock will be delisted. Any such Staff Determination would have no immediate effect on the listing of the Company’s Common Stock. In the event of a Staff Determination, the Company will request a hearing before a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel to review the Staff Determination, and will endeavor to be in compliance with all applicable NASDAQ rules prior to the hearing date.

While we don’t have all the details we know other stars of the Exquisite Films production include Kagney Linn Karter, Nicki Blue, Tegan Summers and Marie McCray.  Kagney Linn Karter tweeted the other day that she will be playing the roll of the Evil Captain Nirvana.

 

 

Casting Call for Beverly Hillbillies XXX

X-Play and Adam & Eve Pictures Casting for Beverly Hillbillies XXX

Adam & Eve Pictures and X-Play are co-producing a XXX parody of The Beverly Hillbillies and are now casting for the roles of Ellie Mae, Jed Clampett, Jethro, Granny, Mr. Drysdale and Miss Jane along with four cute side roles for additional females. Interested actors and agents are encouraged to quickly contact Scott David and director Will Ryder to set up a go-see and reading.

The movie promises to be a hilarious adventure and a top contender for best comedy in the parody category at most awards shows later in the season.

Interested actors must be able to resemble their characters, possess excellent acting ability and be familiar with episodes of the original CBS Television series which ran from 1962 until 1971. Females interested in the four side roles must be sexy and have boobs.

“There are a number of episodes on YouTube so actors can check it out and learn their characters before coming in to read,” stated co-producer Scott David.

“We acquired a 1926 Model A truck that looks just like the one in the TV show so I know this movie is going to be great plus we’re happy to be making this with Adam & Eve Pictures where we won two best comedy awards previously for Flight Attendants and Not Bewitched XXX,” Ryder stated.

The producers will also be searching Hollywood to find a mainstream actress to play the role of Granny much like they did during casting of Not the Cosbys XXX when Thomas Ward won the Cliff Huxtable role. That movie went on to win awards for best parody and Ward for best non-sex performance so it has worked nicely in the past.

“Some characters like Granny are just hard to find from a youngish porn pool but I think we can find most of the others characters and of course all the beautiful girls will come from porn valley,” Ryder stated.

Open casting for Beverly Hillbillies XXX will take place Monday, June 27th from 1-4PM at the company’s West Hollywood office. Please call or email for address.
