Things on the Nina Mercedez home front have been quiet for awhile now.  She’s been off enjoying her free time with her family but as of today she is back.  Nina Mercedez will be hoping on a plane this week and shooting numerous scenes for her very popular website NinaMerdedez.com.

While she is in LA she said said to be doing a boy / girl scene for Adam and Eve, and a girl / girl scene for Dani.com and one for Naughty America.  But if you want to see her with anyone other than her husband Ray then you’ll have to join her website.  In a recent press release Nina Mercedez said ….

“I have made the decision to shoot boy/girl scenes with my partner Raymond Balboa for select companies for now. I may work with other boys non-condom if a contract is presented with the right company but for now all my boy/girl scenes with other male talent will stay exclusive to my website http://ninamercedez.com” say’s the busty beauty.

In the press release Nina Mercedez make mention of a deal she has in the works with another studio and maybe a handful of movies coming out as well.  She doesn’t give any specific details as to any of what it might all be about but I k now her many die hard fans will be anxiously waiting to find out.

Tera Patrick tweeted two days ago that she was moving.  It was odd to schedule a move that day considering she was due to be across the country in just 24 hours for the Exxxotica NY show.

Well it turns out there may be more to the move than expected.

Here is a Twitter conversation between three people at the show today and two of them are saying that Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld broke up, one says otherwise but clearly heard the rumors from other people because she wouldn’t have a need to have to seek out “sources” if she hasn’t.  So something clearly went down at the show today with Evan Seinfeld.  Could him and Tera Patrick really be over?  Well here is what is going on right now on Twitter about it ….

If you visit a porn star’s website and take the photos from her pages, do you think she would be pissed off about it?  What if you take one of the movies that she made and post it on your own website?  Think the studio would be pissed.  If you go around telling people you are the lifesize Nina Mercedez do you think she might be pissed? Of course!!!  But more than being pissed off, in most cases they would have some powers in the realm of copyright and trademark infringements.

Well porn stars are not the only people in the world with these rights however they don’t seem to understand that.

See awhile ago I reported about Nina Mercedez, as well as a few other porn stars like Tera Patrick hiring a company to handle their MySpace pages. I got trashed to no end about reporting on this.  Some people even say I got some threats (which isn’t actually true). But it was such a hassle I just stayed quiet about the subject and would just post images of their mistakes. I figured instead of me blabbing about it, a picture was worth 1,000 words.

Well despite the evidence to the contrary,  some people came out and said that I was wrong.  Nina Mercedez being one of them claimed to run her own page.  That’s all well and good but let me be clear here ……. either the company she  hired to run her myspace page or she herself while running her myspace page, committed a little oopsy today by infringing on the Matel trademark by using the name “Barbie” to describe some naked chick they want you to add to your friends list on MySpace.

Previous porn stars have been sued for such things, with the biggest name lawsuit being that of Lexus Locklear, who now goes by the name of Lexi.  There is also Katsumi and a few Barbie lawsuits over the years.  Let’s just say Matel doesn’t like their CHILDREN’S brand being sullied by naked chicks claiming to be a “lifesize Barbie” and as with previous lawsuits in the past, sometimes these companies go over the people who post such claims and in this case, it’s the Nina Mercedez camp.

Now I’m no lawyer but I smart enough to guess that if anyone were to go steal content from Nina Mercedez’s official website, she would be one pissed off porn star and probably have her lawyer send some nasty letters.  So then why would she think it was now okay to infringe on anyone else’s trademarks?  So deny hiring some company running your myspace page all you want, but if I were you I would have one serious ass talk with these fucktards, because clearly the previous fraud they were perpetuating wasn’t enough.  Now they are making you look even better.

The 2009 AVN Award Nominations were released today and as I was reading the list I noticed something … two somethings and that was our very own Lacey and Lyndsey Love (The Love Twins) appear on this list.  Although the girls are no longer with Vivid we wanted to wish them a congrats for the nomination of their movie Virtual Vivid Girls: The Love Twins in the category of Best Interactive DVD.  I found the girls also got a nomination in the category Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, for their work in the movie Where The Boys Aren’t 19 along with Tera Patrick, Savanna Samson, Lanny Barby, Mercedez, Monique Alexander, Stefani Morgan, Lexie Marie, The Love Twins & Tawny Roberts. I should also note that a movie the girls were in and appear on the cover, Flesh Hunter 10 is also nominated for an award for the best director, non feature and Best Gonzo Release.
