Vivid Offers Miss California $1 Million

TMZ is reporting that Vivid is offering disgraced Miss California, also the 1st runner up Miss USA Carrie Prejean to perform in a porno. Let’s be real, we know she won’t accept but hey if they are going to make the offer to Octomom, why not to this chick, who at least is hot as fuck.   The full story is here at TMZ.

Miss California (for now) Carrie Prejean doesn’t believe in same-sex marriage — but what about sex before marriage … on camera?


In the wake of Carrie’s topless photo controversy, Vivid Entertainment — one of the biggest adult film companies in the world — has decided to test Prejean’s moral toughness with a $1 million offer to star in one of their “films.”


In the formal offer, mailed off to Prejean late Wednesday afternoon, Vivid makes it clear, “This is purely a business offer and has nothing to do with your religion or your personal beliefs.”


It’s doubtful Prejean would accept, but a quick survey of biblically correct heterosexual males shows they would support her overwhelmingly if she did.

We should mention this is not Vivid’s first beauty queen. They at one time worked with a former Miss New Hampshire who was also dethroned for nudity. She has held the titles Miss Teen All American, to Hawaiin Tropic, to Miss Latin USA, to Miss New Hampshire. She went by Alex Taylor (aka Adriana Molinari). She competed in the Miss USA pageant of 1991 but she did not win. Besides becoming a Vivid girl she was also
the August 1994 Penthouse Pet.

You know who did win the 1991 Miss USA pageant? Why Kelli McCarty of course. Her porno Faithless is still a hot seller.

Former Miss USA shocked at how creepy some men are

Fox News is running a report about former Miss USA turned Vivid porn star.  It’s a pretty interesting read but the long and short of it is, Kelli McCarty’s family supports her decision to be a porn star and she’s creeped out by how some men think that by being in a porno she’s automatically a slut and will fuck them.  I think they were a little disappointed to find out that she was always a slut and becoming a porn star had nothing to do with making her that way.   But even funnier is that she wouldn’t fuck them then and she still won’t fuck them now and to add further insult to injury she’s going on Fox News and making fun of them about it.  In the story she also revealed she would be appearing in a men’s magazine in the near future. ie: Playboy, Penthouse, Hustler.  My guess is Penthouse but she’s probably trying to hold out for Playboy.  A few years ago they wouldn’t have her but with the arrival of those freaky looking Twins who claim to be Hef’s girlfriend you never know.  Their standards seemed to have dropped.  So we’ll see.

FOX NEWS: She’s gone from pageants to “Passions” to porn and it seems Kelli McCarty has finally found her favorite career. The former Miss USA of 1991 (who also played the role of Beth Wallace on the NBC soap “Passions” for seven years as well as a recurring role in the Disney Channel series “Even Stevens”) has shed her sash sister image by releasing a (very) adult film, “Faithless” with Vivid Entertainment.


“I enjoy acting, and I really like sex, so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions,” McCarty told Tarts. “It was a pretty easy transition, I think mainstream television is definitely starting to merge with the adult world anyway – it’s all about sex and nudity, and I’ve been pretending to have love scenes on ‘Passions’ for years anyway.”


While the on-screen adjustment wasn’t too much of a sweat for McCarty, she was shocked at how the men in her personal life have suddenly changed their tune.


“These are guys that I’ve known for a long time that are a suddenly putting it out there, they think because I have sex on television I must want to do it with them, too. Its really creepy and disturbing, being an adult film star does not automatically put you into the slut category,” McCarty said. “Maybe you’d expect that from people you don’t know, but this is coming from guys I considered friends. Weird.”


Despite that small downside, the Kansas native said her family is particularly supportive of her racy new role and exposing so much for the lights and camera has actually been a blessing.


“It’s such an accomplishment, I co-wrote the script and had it in my contract that I was to have a lot of power and control in the production which I never had in the mainstream,” McCarty added. “I’m happy that I can be out there talking openly about it, I’m so proud that I could make this happen.”


McCarty’s starring role in “Faithless” marks the first time a former Miss USA (let alone a well-known television actress) has made the leap into the adult entertainment arena and according to Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch, her performance as a cheating wife is that of a “natural porn star.”


“As it turns out, by any standard, Kelli’s performance in “Faithless” is incredibly erotic. She smolders sex from every pore of her body,” said Hirsch.


The 39-year-old starlet isn’t sure if she’ll make another XXX film as she has a sitcom, reality show and book deal bubbling in the works, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be stripping off again sometime very soon.


“The men’s magazines have all been calling. I’m not sure what one I’m going to do yet but I’ll definitely pose, I love that stuff,” she added.

And in this case THE MAN is none other than the machine we so lovingly called Vivid. You know people love to talk a world of shit about Vivid and their movies and how they do this or that but in reality none of us can say shit because when it comes to knowing the business side of the porno business, they reign supreme. They have mastered the art form of getting porno out there in the mainstream media.


This includes little things like oh billboards in time square featuring all the Vivid girls, or posters of their movies in Tony Soprano’s office in the hit HBO series The Sopranos and having not one or even two but now three reality TV shows on the making of some porno or another. This new one called Deeper Throat will air on Showtime starting next month.


They get mentioned on TMZ all the time like when Sunny Leone was just standing next to Criss Angel last year. How the fuck is that news? Well to the estimated 2 million people who read that story on TMZ it didn’t matter, it was still free mainstream media exposure for one of their girls.


I won’t get into all the times one of the Vivid girls are guests on the Howard Stern show or countless other radio shows or have their face plastered on things like Skateboards or in mainstream ads now pimping a Vivid brand of high heel shoes.


But something even bigger that most people don’t think about is, how many people in any given day across the United States stay in a hotel room? That’s a lot of fucking people and most of those people are seeing Vivid movies. Even if they are just the stupid softcore version, that’s still a massive massive massive audience that you can’t really discount. It brings a lot of name brand exposure that quite frankly the other studios just don’t get.


They are a marketing machine. Not only for their name but for their girls and this deal with Kelly McCarty that so many are pissing on, is no different. Anyone who doesn’t see the financial value in this is just down right fucking retarded.  A friend recently shared with me a press report for this one movie.  The mainstream coverage of this title alone gets the name “Vivid” out to millions and millions of people.  So in the end, even if this movie sucks major balls it won’t even matter because the amount of mainstream press given because of this makes it work every single penny they invested in paying for her to do a porno.  There is no other movie studio, even Digital Playground who recently spent a rumored $2 million by one account and $5 million by another promoting Pirates 2, that could possibly garner this month mainstream press coverage for their studio brand.


So call Vivid stupid fuckers all you want but in the end they are laughing their asses all the way to the bank.

Former Miss USA turns Soap Opera Star then Porn Star

A plot line like this you would tend to think it was right out of a soap opera, only it’s real.  Former Miss USA Kelli McCarty, who starred as villainous Beth Wallace in the NBC daytime drama Passions, has stunned the entertainment world by launching an adult film career with Vivid Entertainment, the leading adult film studio. “Faithless,” her first X-rated DVD release, will be on sale starting February 4, 2009.

“I enjoy acting, and I really like sex,” says McCarty, “so this was the perfect opportunity to combine two of my passions. I approached Vivid with the idea of shooting a film with a sexy but interesting storyline, and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of control I was given throughout the production process. I am very pleased with the final edit of ‘Faithless,’ and I just may do another adult film.“

The venture with Vivid Entertainment, the award-winning studio that is home to Vivid Girls including Jenna Jameson, Tera Patrick and Savanna Samson, “marks the first time that a Miss USA, let alone an established TV actress, has made the reverse crossover into adult,” according to Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch. “As it turns out, by any standard, Kelli’s performance in ‘Faithless’ is incredibly erotic. She smolders sex from every pore of her body. We’ve made some footage from the movie available at www.kelliusa.com for the curious to judge for themselves,” Hirsch adds.

Hirsch said the studio assigned acclaimed director Paul Thomas (PT) to guide McCarty through the production of the big budget feature shot in hi definition. The plot follows “Callie” (McCarty) at a tipping point in her marriage, during which she feels her husband has wandering eyes and she has lost control of the relationship. She seduces her stepdaughter’s boyfriend and the sexual fireworks follow.

McCarty won the title of Miss Kansas in 1990 and was crowned Miss USA in 1991. She placed fourth in the Miss Universe competition that same year. Upon completion of her reign as Miss USA, McCarty appeared on several popular television programs, including Melrose Place, Beverly Hills, 90210, Silk Stalkings, Dream On, Pacific Blue and Diagnosis Murder. She landed the role of Beth Wallace on the NBC daytime drama Passions in 1999 and played the character through 2006.

“I enjoyed the filming process very much and found PT’s production team to be extremely professional and highly skilled,” says McCarty.

“We’ve been credited with spearheading the transition of adult entertainment into the mainstream, but I was still surprised when Kelli approached us,” said Hirsch. “As it turns out, she’s a natural porn star.“

Adult actors Daisy Marie, Jennifer Dark, Kelly Leigh, Voodoo, James Deen, Steve St. Croix and Herschel Savage are also featured in the movie.
