I’m sure by now you’ve all heard the Janine story and all the trouble she’s in and no doubt the speculation that the trouble that Janine is in with the IRS is in large part to her now ex husband, Jesse James who left Janine when she was 7 months pregnant to marry Sandra Bullock. But here’s a whole new twist on the story. TMZ is reporting that Jesse James is being sued for not paying what he owes, to the tune of $327,533!
Apparently Sandra Bullock’s “Speed” residuals may have run dry, because her hubby is having trouble paying his bills. Mr. Sandra Bullock is being sued by his former lawyer for $327,533 in unpaid fees. Jesse is the owner of West Coast Choppers — which has a huge celeb clientele — so he shouldn’t be hurting for dough.
Calls to James were not returned.
It was just last July that TMZ reported on another Jesse James lawsuit, where Jesse James was being sued by someone else for for breach of contract and fraud and asking for the $422,680. That case still seems to be pending.
A guy from Omaha claims Jesse James just doesn’t deliver. According to a lawsuit filed today in L.A. Superior Court, in 2005 Michael Jones commissioned James’ West Coast Choppers to build him a 1949 Cadillac Sedanette for somewhere between $250,000 and $350,000. But, according to Jones, after shelling out $270,000 in payment over two years, the car wasn’t completed and James told him the car would now cost between $600-700k! Jones is suing for breach of contract and fraud and asking for the $422,680 he eventually sunk into the car as well as interest, damages and court costs. BTW — Jones still doesn’t have the car. A rep for James could not be reached for comment.
Karma has got to be a bitch with all these problems that boy is having. DAMN! And if all those lawsuits weren’t enough on April 18, 2008, while Sandra Bullock was in Massachusetts shooting the film The Proposal, she and her husband Jesse James were in an SUV that was hit head on by a drunken driver. There were no injuries.
Janine however seems to be doing better and has returned to work at least temporarliy making at least three movies for Vivid to pay off her tax debt. It is unclear at this time what the new Janine movies will be about or who she is working with in them however we should be finding out soon enough.
