[source] Authorities in Hungary have captured Pablo Lapiedra, the Spanish man wanted by Colombia on child pornography charges.
Lapiedra, who has been on the run since skipping an extradition hearing in Spain in December, is accused of using teenage girls in porn movies shot in Medellin.
He was arrested in Budapest on Monday, according to the National Court in Spain, reports La Semana magazine.
One victim, who was 16, said she was paid $900 for appearing in one film and promised the movies would not be distributed in Colombia — but they were posted on several websites.
Lapiedra, who’s 37, claims not to have known that the girls were underage, saying they showed him fake ID.
The director was tracked from Colombia to Spain and arrested in Barcelona in March last year. He was later released on probation after posting bail of $135,000.
Lapiedra’s then-wife, Colombian porn star Lupe Fuentes, is alleged to have recruited the girls and is also wanted on charges of child pornography as well for immigration violations in the U.S.

SPANISH-BORN porn king Pablo Lapiedra, who has a house in Alicante, is now in a Budapest jail.
Accused of filming and selling pornographic videos of under-age girls on the internet, Lapiedra jumped bail last December while awaiting extradition to Colombia.
A series of legal blunders meant that Spain issued only a national arrest warrant after Lapiedra failed to report to a Madrid court on December 20.
He was arrested by chance three days later at the Hungarian-Romanian border because he was travelling on a forged Czech passport.
Lapiedra was first arrested on underage pornography charges in Barcelona last March, following an international arrest order from Colombia arising from a pornographic video featuring a 16-year-old high-school pupil from Medellin.
Recruited by Lapiedra and his wife, porn-star Zuleydy Piedrahita, she was given a new identity and documentation proving she was 18, the girl claimed.
Spanish police identified Lapiedra as the cameraman who shot the video and others available on a website entitled “pablolapiedra” which charged between €10 and €75 for downloads of adolescents.
Following a search of Lapiedra’s homes in Alicante, Barcelona and Madrid he was arrested in Barcelona at the home of his new partner, yet another porn star.
He insisted that he believed the Medellin girl was over 18 and was initially remanded but released on €100,000 bail, using his parents’ home as surety.
He absconded on December 20 although the ministry of Justice confirmed Lapiedra’s extradition in his absence on January 5. If he is handed over to the Colombia, however, it will be thanks to Hungary which has agreed to extradite him.
It now remains for the Colombian authorities to order Lapiedra’s return but he will walk free unless they do this within 40 days.
