Bluebird Films Receives 14 XBIZ Nominations – Nicholas Steele’s ‘Katwoman XXX’ Claims 10

The XBIZ 2012 awards show may not be until early January 2012, but Bluebird Films has reason to celebrate right here and now. That’s because last Friday they released the list of nominations for their upcoming show and Bluebird Films received a jaw dropping 16 nominations including Feature Studio of the Year, Parody Studios of the Year, and Gonzo / All-Sex Studio of the Year. Their record selling epic smash release of the year, Katwoman XXX, received a whopping 10 nominations for everything from acting and script nods to directing, editing, and special effects.

“I couldn’t be happier,” says Nicholas Steele. “A great deal of work went into making this movie and it feels good not just for me but for all of us to receive this kind of validation. I want to thank everyone at XBIZ.”

Equally as pleased is Bluebird Films eclectic owner, the man behind not only the screenplay but the unforgettable performances as the Jo-Kerr as well, Paul Chaplin.

Last week Bluebird Films reported that they have broken sales records with this year’s blockbuster release Katwoman XXX and have received over a million visitors to the free website dedicated to the movie since it went live. The epic blockbuster has also received a series of glowing reviews from industry critics as well. XCritic awarded the movie it’s coveted highest honor of ‘Highly Recommended’ saying “Paul Chaplin again came across as the perfect parody version of the Heath Ledger version of Joker,” and cautioning fans “don’t miss Katwoman XXX if you have even the slightest attraction to women.”
