Fayner Posts: I’ve been slaving like a Wilderbeast for what seems like ten years on this damn mainstream script. Finally finshed (I hope), tomorrow marks the day I bring it to the Screenwriter’s Guild to get it registered so that people can finally read it.
Not sure if I’m nervous or not since the time between when I began and the present has kind of distanced me from the whole project; pretty much I’m looking at this project as paying dues. My next idea, now nearly fifty script pages so far, is what I’m excited about. Frankly, I don’t think I would even be thinking about the first script if it wasn’t for my mother’s daily phone call asking if she should be looking for a dress for the Academy Awards she assumes I’ll be taking her to when my movie becomes a huge success.
We’ll see, won’t we?
I ain’t worried. If it happens, it happens, right?
