WARREN, MI — A Streetsboro woman picked a bad time and the wrong motorist to twice show her breasts to Tuesday morning.
Shortly after the 20-year-old pulled up her shirt for the second time from the perch of a Hollywood Street N.E. home, she quickly realized the man she was flashing was an on-duty plainclothes Warren cop, checking out a home residents have been complaining about.
The prank landed Maria P. Edwards, 1583 Guenevere Road, in jail on charges of public indecency and possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s expected to make her first court appearance this morning.
Warren Patrolman Tim Ladner said he was driving along Hollywood Street N.E. about 10:15 a.m. checking out 1555 Hollywood St. N.E., a home that has been the source of several complaints from neighbors. As he drove past the home, one of two girls on the front balcony lifted up her grey, hooded sweatshirt and exposed her chest.
Ladner turned around at Kenilworth Avenue N.E. and headed back. This time, according to a report, the girl exposed herself again and then shoved her chest into the second girl’s face.
Ladner pulled in, informed the girl he was a Warren police officer and placed her under arrest. A glass crack pipe was found in her pants pocket, the report states.
Edwards is being held in the Trumbull County Jail.
