RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — As many as seven soldiers of the famed 82nd Airborne Division may have lent their images to a gay pornography Web site.
An Army spokeswoman says officials at Fort Bragg are investigating allegations that the paratroopers violated the military conduct code. Major Amy Hannah would not say whether charges have already been brought.
Hannah also declined to give other details, but another defense official provided information on the number of soldiers and their unit.
The Internet site has a military theme, but doesn’t seem to mention the 82nd Airborne or its North Carolina home by name. The registered owner of the domain name lists an address in Fayetteville, the city that adjoins Fort Bragg.
