Maryland Governor Wes Moore has decided to allow a bill repealing the state's Unnatural or Perverted Sexual Practices Act to become law without his signature. The bill, known as House Bill 131, was introduced by State Delegates David Moon and Luke Clippinger, with an identical measure put forth by State Senator Clarence Lam. This legislative action follows the General Assembly's repeal of the "sodomy" provision in 2020.
