IT WAS GONNA BE CALLED “PUSSY FOR PUPPIES”

LOS ANGELES, CA – (NOVEMBER 27, 2007 DMPR) – Los Angeles based animal rights activists had additional reasons to give thanks this past holiday week, as Wicked Pictures contract superstars jessica drake, Brad Armstrong, and Kaylani Lei staked their claim on the red carpet to support the first annual Cuties For Canines (www.cutiesforcanines.org) charity benefit. Designed to raise awareness and funds for dogs scheduled to be euthanized in Los Angeles shelters, the evening was hosted by Cuties For Canines founder and Maxim model Bobbi Sue Luther and held at the beautiful and exclusive 5th & Sunset Studios in West Los Angeles.

Jessica, Brad, and Kaylani were joined on the press line by such Hollywood notables as Playboy‘s Kari Whitman, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory‘s Deep Roy, Terminator 3‘s Alana Curry and many more.

Inside, the innovative event featured entertainment from special guest dance DJs, martini and tequila bars sponsored by SoBe, a charity silent auction, and gift bags sponsored by Wicked Pictures. The silent auction saw both jessica and Brad bidding on – and winning – some of the evening’s pricier items as they supported the evening‘s cause. The evening concluded with the team spending some quality time with Fox News personality (and fellow dog lover) Mark Thompson, who’s since recounted his brush with Wicked greatness on Fox Television‘s That’s So Hollywood.

In addition to the Fox coverage, Kaylani, jessica, and Brad‘s attendance at the event was covered by such mainstream media outlets as Wire Image, 97.1 Free Los Angeles, and Contact Music. With their high profile releases like The Craving, Coming Home, Delilah, Candelabra, and Kaylani Unleashed having made strong showings in the recently announced 2008 AVN Nominations, this successful evening proved that whether they’re focusing on winning critical acclaim or supporting a worthy cause, the contract superstars of Wicked Pictures always deliver!

Nowhere AngelsDCypher posts: The AVN noms for 2008 came out yesterday as many of you are well aware. Like most working folk in the jizz biz I spent a great deal of the day on the phone with people debating the list. There is a lot of mumbling and grumbling already from all quarters. The hard questions are being asked. Here is a small sample of what I heard yesterday:

Why am I NOT on the list?

Why is Dave Navarro up for Best Director for a movie that was shot by 4 other famous porn directors?

Why is she on the Best New Starlets list?

Who do you have to blow at AVN to get recognized for the work you do?

 

And on and on…like Jack Johnson. You couldn’t make up the kinds of things I heard yesterday. Ultimately people’s feelings get hurt every year around this time, which is why the nom’s usually drop right before Thanksgiving, so the more unstable members of this community have time to cool down before phoning in their death threats and conspiracy theories. After all, death threats and conspiracy theories really belong on the boards.

One thing I did notice is that it is the year of the Super Ego in porn. Operation Desert Stormy is the biggest thing that Wicked has ever done I think not to mention another friend of mine said that Coming Home was pretty expensive too. Janine Loves Jenna is the biggest, most expensive, over the top thing that Club Jenna has ever done. Then there is Debbie Loves Dallas from PT at Vivid, arguably one of the greatest porn directors of all time, as well as LAYOUT, which I think is an extraordinary movie. Go Penny Flame!

And don’t forget UPLOAD or AVN Award Winner Eli Cross will kick your teeth out. Just kidding…I think. UPLOAD is the biggest thing that Sex Z put out ever. Hilary Scott alone costs a million dollars and the company marketing budget includes a race car!

If I left you off the list please don’t panic…and please call AVN to complain not me. I will send you the number. All I am saying is that the bar has been raised since the greatest selling porn movie of all time (PIRATES) came out and every year it seems to climb higher. Remember when Nick Andrews DARK ANGELS 2 was the big deal for the year because it had special effects like BLADE and an exploding car? Janine Loves Jenna had the most elaborate special effects I’ve ever seen in a porn movie and was then edited for over a year. Take that Nick Andrews!

In the midst of all this cock fighting, with everyone’s dick wagging around, I feel a little like Matt Damon the year his GOOD WILL HUNTING went up against Cameron’s TITANIC. You see Nowhere Angels, my favorite movie I have ever made, isn’t the biggest thing METRO ever put out but I still love it. In a sea of amazing “big budget” features it’s easy to overlook. It’s a story driven porn as well, a true example of lit porn at it’s finest, which confused the hell out of some people. Still I got some love and all jokes aside I’m grateful for it.

I realized yesterday though after some of the calls I took that it’s just good to get nominated. For the last three years I have been on the list for the big three: Best Director, Best Screenplay Video, and Best Video Feature. First with PRISONER then WONDERLAND and now with NOWHERE ANGELS. I have yet to pull a win on my own. Given the steep competition this year odds are that won’t change. I’m okay with it though. I’ve even placed a call to Susan Lucci’s shrink to book a slot for late January so I’m all covered.

In the meantime I thought I’d share this gallery from the shoot with all of you. Nowhere Angels featured Charlotte Stokely, Cassie Courtland, Justine Jolie, Riley Mason, Leah Luv, Veronica Jett, and Barrett Blade. Barrett edited the flick and caught 2 noms in the process. Go Barrett! Check it out.

STORMY BACK WITH WICKED

CANOGA PARK, Calif. – Wicked Pictures announce the re-signing of Stormy Daniels to a four-year contract. The new deal entails Daniels continuing to act, produce, direct and write screenplays exclusively for the company. She was voted the AVN Best New Starlet in 2004. "I am excited about continuing my relationship with Wicked Pictures!" Daniels said. "I’m very lucky to work for a company that has supported me in everything I’ve wanted to do.

"From performing to writing and directing and now with the formation of Stormy Entertainment, [Wicked president] Steve Orenstein has backed me completely every step of the way. I look forward to continuing to grow and be successful in an industry that I love."

The new pact calls for the 40-Year-Old Virgin fantasy vixen to appear in five Wicked features each year as a performer and create another four titles each year as a director. The new agreement will also consist of Wicked Pictures handling the exclusive distribution of Stormy Entertainment titles, with a minimum of four titles to be produced in the first year.

“Stormy has been a success story from the beginning, first by winning Best New Starlet and then continuing to rise to the top from there, said Orenstein. “She’s added writing and directing to her credits and now producing. She’s really able to balance all these hats well and I’m very glad she will be part of Wicked for years to come.”

Stormy Entertainment’s first title to be distributed through Wicked Pictures is Forbidden Fucks, while the next Stormy Entertainment title slated for production is the all-anal feature Assletes. Drenched will follow that.

"I couldn’t be happier with Wicked’s decision to distribute my product," she said. "With their own films, Marc Dorcel and now with the addition of PlayGirl, Wicked Pictures is known across the board for having the best of the best.

"I am thrilled to be adding my name to that kind of roster. I look forward to a very successful future with the company.”

In other Daniels news, the starlet is looking forward to the upcoming release of the self-directed title 3 Wishes in which she stars as an angelic next-door neighbor who falls in love with a man who is wrapped up in a deal with the devil, due in stores this May. Also coming soon is Daniels’ Gossip, which stars Wicked Girl Carmen Hart, and Taken directed by Brad Armstrong and starring Stormy, due later this summer.

STORMY DANIELS LAUNCHES STORMY ENTERTAINMENT

HOLLYWOOD – Starlet Stormy Daniels is set to begin the filming of her first movie for her own production company Stormy Entertainment.

The title will be called Forbidden Fucks, and will be shot in high-def. It will star talent including Stormy herself, Eva Angelina, Hillary Scott, Tyla Wynn, and Mikayla, in her first boy/girl scene.

“I’m very excited about this movie. The concept is guys getting to fuck the girls they’ve considered taboo or unattainable…their boss, the head cheerleader, and so on. It’s gonna be filthy!” said Daniels, who is a Wicked contract performer.

Forbidden Fucks will be a hardcore gonzo turn for Daniels, who directed the feature Second Thoughts, as well as her forthcoming feature Three Wishes. Daniels has been writing and directing for Wicked Pictures for over two years and will continue to fulfill her contract duties for the company.

“I’m not leaving Wicked,” Daniels affirmed, “but in addition to my Wicked projects, I will be appearing in movies for Stormy Entertainment. Wicked Pictures will be handling distribution,” Daniels explained.

“Stormy Entertainment will be a step away from what people are used to seeing from me,” Daniels added. “It’s my vision to add the intense performances fans enjoy from their favorite gonzo [titles] and combine it with the production quality expected from Wicked Pictures. I think a lot of people will be surprised at how nasty I can be. But don’t get me wrong, it’s not going to fall into this trend of ridiculously extreme stuff. It’s going to be intense hardcore sex, not a circus act of degradation. I want to focus on the girl enjoying what’s done to her and bring back the passion.”
