With 2 VR Scenes Under Her Belt, The Legend Has Some Thoughts on Today’s Technology
VENICE, CA – Briana Banks is one of the biggest porn stars of the century and she’s been around so long that her career is legal at 18 years and counting.
This week VRPorn.com releases an interview with the legend that discusses her life, career and of course a whole lot about the latest technology. When she started shooting it was still a VHS industry, so Briana has been a part of the transformation going from VHS to DVD to the internet to virtual reality. She’s shot two VR scenes so far and, as she discovered, it’s a different process.
“The second VR scene, which I did with Derrick Pierce, was definitely a little awkward for me,” she said. “I had to look above his eye line at the camera the entire scene! It’s very hard to get into a scene both sexually, and mentally when there’s no foreplay, and no eye contact, It’s almost like masturbation, but with a person, not a toy. It still turned out amazing and Derrick is a trooper because it was not easy for him to lay there, and not move either.”
She is a true veteran – she won the NightMoves Award for Best New Starlet in 2001, was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame in 2009 and the XBIZ HOF in 2016 – so it’s no surprise that she has some ideas on how to make things better.
“I think that an interesting concept would be the blowjob being filmed somehow from the base of the dick so a guy could actually see the girl going down on him in a way they’ve never seen!
