The Belle Knox Effect on New York Strip Clubs

The New York strip clubs have been assaulted by a large number of college girls, applicants for a pole dance spot, after the Belle Knox episode.

New York- You must have heard of those cases when (let’s assume) a girl is a lesbian and she has no idea how to come out to her family and eventually she finds a role model, also lesbian, her self confidence  reaches the highest level and then she finds the courage to live her life and make the step?

It was pretty much the same thing here.

Belle Knox Visits HeadQuarters NYC

Belle Knox, the Duke pornstar seems to have inspired a lot of chicks to jump on the pole and do their best.

NY Post: Ever since controversial undergrad/Duke porn star Belle Knox announced she’d be headlining her first strip show in NYC on Friday, college students have been racing to the poles. Modal Trigger Mike Diaz, manager of Show Palace, the all-nude joint in Queens where Knox will undress for a $2,000 fee, says that he’s been flooded with applicants eager to pay off college tuitions since the deal was inked in March. “Some of these girls came out of school with a $50,000 [or] $100,000 debt. And this is a way for them to not have this debt,” says Diaz. Plus students “can work around their school schedule very nicely with the gentlemen’s club industry,” adds Jeff Levy of the Association of Club Executives of New York, a trade and advocacy group for the adult entertainment industry. We talked to three city coeds who signed up to strip at Show Palace. Each averages three nights and $1,500 to $2,000 a week, which goes toward tuition, school supplies, rent, savings and to their families.

So let’s make this clear. This is not the moment when some can feel entitled to get out of their bubbles and wave their fingers left-right saying “no-no”.

It’s not a surprise that sex sells, being naked sells, being seductive sells.

It shouldn’t be such a shocker that while some are homeless, starving or working for the minimum wage, other choose to go where the money are and make a living.

Are they going to make a career in stripping?

Most likely not.

Should they feel bad about it? As long as it’s easy money without doing anything illegal (easy is the wrong word because a stripper has to work a lot to make a good show) they should be proud for using their potential in their benefit.

Not all of us are made to be doctors or engineers, teachers or writers and the list goes on and on.

Some have a rough start in life. Some have no other option. And some are just really good at pole dancing and teasing.

Some will start their own business after 30, some will have kids, some support their families with the money their shaking ass is making.

Some girls don’t feel comfortable with doing porn but they are pretty good at pole dancing.

And to all those saying “oh there are so many dads blowing their brains out after finding out their girls are stripping”, here’s a reminder: each and every girl you have ever watched and admired in a porn movie, a pole dance, a lap dance, a strip show, on camera etc. has a father. But I guess your sensitive other head didn’t think about the dads in those particular moments, did it?
