Fayner Posts: Was chatting with make-up artist Ellie on TR’s IN THE PINK set the other day.
“How’s your aunt doing?” I asked her, referring to Erica McLean, recent widow of famed Hustler photographer/director Clive McLean.
“She’s doing a lot better,” Ellie said. “Did you know Erica’s now directing the Barely Legal series for Hustler?”
“Really? That’s awesome for her. No one should become heir to that project other than her. She was a vital part of the success the series realized. She was the calm to Clive’s storm.”
Reminds me of an old Jane’s Addiction song that goes “Such a classic girl, Gives her man great ideas. Hears you tell your friends, Hey man, listen to my great idea!”
Erica was shooting Tuesday but I was unable to make it down to the set. Hopefully I’ll make the next one.
