Fayner Posts: Got a call from my mother this morning while I was sleeping. Her message said she had some questions for me regarding pornography. I was not looking forward to returning her call, but if I fail to ring her back promptly she starts getting scared that I’m dead or lying in an alley with a raped ass or in jail.
"I have some questions for you," she said. "I’ve been emailing with this guy who wants to date me, and I think he works in porn."
"Interesting," I replied. "What makes you think that?"
"He used words I believe associate him with your business. You think you can help me?"
"What words did he use? ATM? DP? FIP?"
"No. He asked me if I ‘IM’ and if I ‘CAM.’ Should I be apprehensive?"
I laughed.
"Hardly," I informed her. "’IM’ means ‘Instant Message’ and ‘CAM’ is a camera. He wants to know if you have a camera on your computer and if you know how to instant message."
"Do I?"
"No."
"So he’s not a pervert?"
"I didn’t say that. He probably is a pervert, as most men are, and you should keep your guard up at all times."
"Thanks, sweetie. By the way, what does ‘ATM’ mean?"
