The NBA Finals are around the corner and we asked our viewers to weigh in. The conference finals are over but before the final two teams start the final round of the series, we asked our viewers to predict the outcome. They’ve done it for the elections and the Grammy’s, let’s see if they can predict who will the NBA Championship Finals.
Round three of Cleveland Cavaliers vs the Golden State Warriors is officially set; the two teams will battle it out in the finals for the third consecutive year. Last year the Cavs came out on top, and the year before, the Warriors. This year, more than 17,000 RedTube viewers voted and majority (57% of viewers) think the Golden State Warriors will prevail again. 43% think that the Cavaliers have a chance to take home the title.
Viewers were also asked how in many games the Warriors would take it. The answer, 6. 40% of users think by Game 6 it will be over, 10% don’t foresee the teams having to play more than 4 games, 26% don’t think it will pass game 5 and 24% want to see a game 7 match-up. But this about more than just a championship ring, it’s a match against two of the league’s breakthrough stars; LeBron and Curry. We asked viewers who they thought would score the most points, and although we’ll have to wait and see which one really does, King James got the most user votes.
As for the seasons MVP, the NBA recently announced the three nominees; Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Kawhi Leonard. And although that wont be decided until late June, RedTube viewers have their vote on Oklahoma City’s Russell Westbrook.
Didn’t get to vote? Finals haven’t even started yet you can still tell us what you think in the comments below.
In 2012 after winning the silver medal at the London Summer Olympic games, McKayla Maroney blew up the internet with her “not impressed” face. Now, she has every one talking – including RedTube, but not for her athletic abilities.
Although Maroney already had a pretty high number of searches to beging with, after posting a video of herself in a thong on Instagram over the weekend, searches for the Olympian on RedTube peaked on Monday. You can see that immediately after the story broke on Friday, searches started to pick up. Saturday they were up by 65%, by Sunday they had increased by 730% and on Monday they increased by 873%, reaching their peak.
Searches for Maroney were most popular among 18-24 year olds and 35-44. Users 45+ had zero interest in the Olympic medalist, in fact searches among these users actually dropped. By looking at the heat map of the U.S.A, you can see that her home state of sunny California is mildly interested in what they can find on the site for “McKayla Maroney” (searches for Maroney were up 38%) while states in the North East and Central US showed an increase in search popularity. Rhode Island had the highest increase in searches (+45%) followed by New Hampshire (42%). The South East showed little to no interest in McKayla however. States like Florida, South Carolina and Georgia had some of the lowest search increases in the U.S.
Every one has their preference when it comes to hair. Especially the hair from body parts unknown. Some like to keep an 80s vibe going on, others run a tight ship and have no time for furry business. Then there are those who prefer a well kept landing strip, trimmed initial or some other funky design. Redtube did some research to see if the bush is really back, or if it’s just another fad.
As we get older it seems we become more particular about whether we have bush or no bush. Of all age groups, users 65 years + are 258% as likely to search for “Bush” as they are to search for “shaved”. Our users aged 18-34 are much less likely to search for either term. Seems as though porn preferences are not dictated by whether or not the pornstar is “Bushy” or “Shaved” for our millennial-aged users, but that bush makes all the difference once you’ve hit senior citizen status. It is also clear that among every age group, “bush” is more popular by a long shot. It is more popular among 18-24 years old by 891% and 982% more popular among 25-34 year olds. For 35-44 year old it is 1126% more popular and 1147% among those 65+.
Ever wondered which search terms are most often combined with each type? We’ve got you covered. On the bushy side of things, “hairy pussy”, “hairy teen (18+)” & “hairy MILF” all made the top 5. While “hairy ginger” and “bush” closed out the list. Moving on to terms most searched for combined with “shaved”, first up have “shaving hairy pussy”. The word “shaved” on it’s own was 2nd and “shaved milf” fell into 3rd most popular.
We took a deeper dive into the preferences among US viewers. The heat map below shows “bushy” is searched for much more among Central and Western states than the rest of the country. “Bushy” search terms are more popular in states like Colorado (+98%), Texas (+76%) and Utah (+86%). While North Eastern states like New York and Vermont don’t need the extra layer to stay warm in the winter, opting for hairless instead.
We can also clearly see how over the last year, the trend is moving more and more towards the “Bush”. In May 2016 searches were below average, and although there was a dip in February of 2017, you can see it that over the last few months the bush is back on the rise.

Just last week we asked our viewers to help us predict who would win Nick Viall’s heart in this season of ABC’s hit show, ‘The Bachelor’. By now we know that it’s down to the final two and already RedTube viewers are making us proud. After reviewing the poll results on Monday morning, Redtube viewers knew that only hours later, we’d all watch Viall break Rachel’s heart as he handed the first of two roses to Raven, and the second to Vanessa. Although it’s no surprise Rachel was eliminated– host Chris Harrison spilled the beans back in February that she would be next season’s ‘Bachelorette’so would have happened sooner or later, but it seems our viewers knew that Monday night was the night.
We’ll need to wait a few more days to see if our viewers get it right next week, during the final rose ceremony. For now, here are our predictions.
We started with the most obvious question to ask; which of the final three (yes three, survey went out last week remember?) contestants do you think Nick will give the final rose to? Viewers had little faith in Rachel, falling into third place with 20% of viewer votes. Fashion boutique owner Raven, is runner up with 36% of the viewer votes and if they get their way, Grimaldi (44%) will walk away with a Neil Lane diamond on her left hand Monday night.
Next we asked who our viewers would have liked to see in the top three? Of all the beautiful, smart, charismatic women in the top 22, 39% our viewers voted for none other than Corinne Olympios. Alexis Waters, who was eliminated in week 5 came second in our viewer wishlist with 25% of the votes and Kristina Schulman, the dental hygienist from Kentucky came in 3 with a solid 23% of viewer votes.
Next up, our favorite question for our viewers. Who do you want to see on RedTube? Take a guess, any guess. If you guessed Corinne again you could win a BRAND NEW CAR! Not really but I’ve always wanted to say that…The 24 year old who has admitted to having a personal nanny, might not be in the race for Viall’s heart anymore but that doesn’t mean she can’t have a spot in ours. With 48% of the votes, Corinne received the most votes by far to make it onto RedTube. Corinne, our offer always stands. Seems like Vanessa and Alexis not only won the hearts of Bachelor fans but also left their mark on RedTube viewers everywhere. Rounding out the top three preferred contestants to be in a RedTube video, Vanessa comes in second with 25% of the votes and Alexis in third with 10%.
Didn’t get to vote this time around? Leave us your comments below to tell us who you think will walk away with the final rose Monday night.
The 21st season of The Bachelor has been a bumpy one. Even if you don’t follow the show, chances are you’ve at least heard about this season’s very colorful, breakout star Corinne. Although she got kicked off the show last week (right after the hometown visits, tear) there are three lovely ladies still in the running for Nick Viall’s heart.
We’ve asked for your votes on important events like the Oscars and the Grammys, even the U.S. election, so of course we would ask for your votes on who will get the final rose on March 13.

Hollywood’s biggest night is almost upon us. This Sunday, February 26, the Dolby Theater will fill up with some of the industry’s biggest names. The host, none other than late night talk-show star Jimmy Kimmel. The nominees? Well there are plenty! La La Land leads with the most nominations of the year with 14, the last movie to get this many nods was Titanic in 1997. The coming-of-age tale Moonlight, and sci-fi thriller Arrival are tough contenders, each with 8 nods of their own. After polling more than 100,000 RedTube viewers from all over the world about who they thought would take home awards in the end, clear winners were established for some of the most anticipated awards of the evening. We’ve already correctly predicted two other major events, let’s take a closer look at the results from our most recent survey and see if we can do it again.
Although it’s usually the last award of the night, we thought we would start with the award for Best Picture. By a landslide, La La Land is the film most likely to walk away with an Oscar for this award. Hacksaw Ridge came a very far second with 12% of the votes and was followed by Arrival and Hidden Figures, both with 10% each. Manchester by the Sea (6%), Lion (5%), Moonlight (4%), Fences (3%) and Hell or High Water (2%) rounded out thecategory with only a handful of RedTube users predicting a big win for these titles.
If RedTube viewers are correct, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone should bring home another two awards for the film. Gosling for Leading Actor, up against Denzel Washington for his role in Fences; Andrew Garfield from Hacksaw Ridge; Casey Affleck, Manchester by the Sea and Viggo Mortensen, Captain Fantastic. While Stone, up for Lead Actress should beat out Nathalie Portman who portayed Jackie O Kennedy in Jackie; Meryl Streep, Florence Foster Jenkins; Isabelle Huppert in Elle and Ruth Negga from the film Loving, according to our poll.
Unlike 2016, there was a noted improvement with respect to lack of diversity in the list of nominations this year. In the Supporting Actor category, RT viewers are torn between Jeff Bridges and Dev Patel for their supporting roles in (respectively) Hell or High Water and Lion. Moonlight‘sMahershala Ali was close behind with 21% of the votes, followed by Lucas Hedges, Manchester by the Sea (17%) and Michael Shannon, Nocturnal Animals (13%). As for Supporting Actress, Viola Davis is predicted to win for her role in Fences. Octavia Spencer (Hidden Figures) and Nicole Kidman (Lion) are close second, each with 20% of the votes.
If our viewers predict correctly (as they have with the US electionand Grammy Awards), La La Land should also take home an award for Best Directing. Damien Chazelle was a step ahead of the pack with 51% of the votes in this category. Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge received 21% of the votes; Denis Villeneuve’s Arrival, 10%; Manchester by the Sea received 10% for their directing, by Kenneth Lonergan and Barry Jenkins walked away with 8% of the votes for his film Moonlight.
The last two categories we polled viewers on were Best Writing – Original Screenplay and Best Writing Adapted Screenplay. Both received very different results. First up, Best Writing – Original Screenplay. Although the title might not scream original to some, La La Land is predicted to win the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay with 49% of the votes. Manchester by the Sea and 20th Century Women were tied up with 16%, while Hell or High Water received 12% and The Lobster received a mere 7%.
Finally, Best Adapted Screenplay. Ourviewers have their money on Allison Schroeder and Theodore Melfi’s film, Hidden Figures. Moonlight directed by Barry Jenkins and written by Tarell Alvin McCraney received 20% of viewer votes. While Arrival by Eric Heisserer, Lion originally written by Luke Davies and Fences written by August Wilson round out the category.
Every year the city of Los Angeles and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences work together to organize of one the biggest events of the year at the Dolby Theater (formerly known as Kodak Theater, for all you old folks) in Hollywood. What event? You might ask. Well, none other than the annual Oscar awards ceremony, duh! While the Academy works out last minute logistics, we at RedTube thought we would take to the streets (figuratively speaking, of course) to ask you- our loyal viewers, to help us predict who you think should win an Oscar on Sunday, February 26.
The battle lines have been drawn and here are some of the nominees, let us know who you think should take home a gold statue at next weeks 89th Annual Academy Awards. You hit the nail on the head with your Grammy predictions and the US elections, let’s see if third time really is a charm.
