April 2nd, Alexander will be promoting the upcoming comic book Rise of the Femonsters and taking part in the How To Get News panel.

(HOLLYWOOD, CA) Publicist and comic book creator Alexander "Monstar" Raymond (https://twitter.com/MonstarPR) will be attending the WonderCon event this weekend. On April 2nd, Alexander will join other industry professionals and participate in the How to Get News Coverage panel. The panel assists independent creators and small press publishers to attain more media coverage for their work. Alexander has over 15 years of experience as a publicist and will share his knowledge of gaining more recognition for one's project.

"I'm excited to be back in person at Wondercon," said Alexander. "I look forward to being part of the panel and hopefully can help others with their projects."

The How to Get News Coverage panel takes place on Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, at 2:00 PM in Room 213CD.

Additionally, Alexander will be at the convention to promote the upcoming comic book Rise of the Femonsters. The inaugural title from the Monstar Horror Universe imprint features the world's greatest monsters teaming up to save humanity against an ancient evil. Inspired by the tone of Hammer Films' gothic movies of the late '60s/early '70s and Marvel's Avengers, the comic brings together action and horror in an exciting way. WonderCon is the sister show to Comic-Con, embracing all the main aspects of SDCC, including comics, movies, TV, animation, the Masquerade, and more. Held annually at the San Diego Convention Center, Comic Con is a celebration of pop-culture. On Thursday Tanya begins her Comic Con experience by participating on the How To Get News Coverage panel. She will be offering tips to would-be creators on how to attract press to their project, a topic she is well versed in. The How To Get News Coverage panel will take place at 10:30am in room 8. To help kick start her Comic Con week, Tanya will be making a special appearance on the Talk is Jericho podcast. The popular show is hosted by wrestling superstar and New York Times best-selling author Chris Jericho who interviews the biggest names in entertainment.
