Got Sex Questions? The Internet Has Your Answer According to the Latest Sex Survey From Adam & Eve!
Hillsborough, NC — Years ago, if someone had a question about sex, he or she sought answers from a friend, a doctor or the library. This month’s results from Adam & Eve’s “Great American Sex Survey” show that today, an overwhelming 70% of American adults rely on the internet for their sexual information.
Adam & Eve, America’s most trusted source for adult products, discovered that even with a wealth of misinformation on the World Wide Web, the internet is the top source for adults in need of answers.
Respondents, who were allowed to select more than one answer, next chose books (23%), men’s magazines (20%) and friends (18%) as their favored resources for sexual information, followed by women’s magazines (17%) and “other.”
Resident Adam & Eve “sexpert” Dr. Kat Van Kirk sees this trend as positive. Says Dr. Kat, “Never before has there been mass access to sex information in such an anonymous way. People can feel comfortable getting educated about sexuality in the comfort of their own home. Luckily, there are many reputable websites available for sex information.”
Chad Davis, Marketing Director for Adam & Eve, agrees. “The internet can be a valuable tool for gaining all types of knowledge. We encourage adults to consider AdamAndEve.com as their source for all types of sexual information. Our site has pertinent information on every product category to help consumers decide what product is best for them.”
The web-based survey, conducted by an independent third party survey company, of over 1,000 American adults age 18 and up, was sponsored by Adam & Eve to study sexual preferences and practices.
