Gilford Police said nearly 24 minors showed up at Sue Hanlon’s home.

Officers seized beer, hard liquor and even homemade drink menus from the house.

Hanlon, 40, argued that teens will drink no matter what so she can’t see why they she shouldn’t provide them with a safe place to do it.

Police stress that what Hanlon allegedly did was illegal, regardless of her explanation.

Hanlon has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her trial is scheduled to start next month.
