VENICE, CA – In the past several years Charlotte Stokely has been one of the most sought-after adult starlets on the other side of the hill in Hollywood and she strikes again in a new Showtime series.

I’m Dying Up Here stars Melissa Leo and Michael Angarano and is currently airing on Showtime. It’s set in 1970s Los Angeles with a focus on the city’s stand-up scene, which legendarily boasted many comics who would go on to become household names: Letterman, Leno, Robin Williams and many more.

Based on former LA Times writer William Knoedelseder’s book of the same name, I’m Dying Up Here (as the PR people put it) “delves into the inspired and damaged psyches that inhabit the hilarious, but complex business of making an audience laugh.” Charlotte, established after so much mainstream experience, didn’t need to audition – she was specifically requested for the role. Jim Carrey was one of the show’s creators.

When there is laughter, sex will follow. Charlotte appears in episode 5. She plays a model who has sex at the model house with celebrities. Charlotte is featured prominently in the opening part of the scene, walking naked through the house. Later she is in bed with a Creative Artists Agency agent, who is screaming about not getting off.

“I was so excited to be on set for Jim Carrey,” Charlotte said. “I kept thinking that throughout the shoot. He’s one of my all-time favorite actors. It’s been cool to see how well it turned out and how much people are enjoying the series. I knew it had aired when suddenly several strangers recognized me from the show. So far everyone has said they loved it!”

Mainstream Site Notes That Braun ‘Beat Mainstream to the Punch’

Comic Book Fan Thrilled With Role of a Lifetime

VENICE, CA – The cast is set for the most-anticipated parody of the year and Charlotte Stokely has scored the coveted role of Batwoman.

Axel Braun will be directing Justice League XXX and Wicked Pictures plans to have it available August 16. The cast also includes August Ames (Lashina), Jessa Rhodes (Knockout), Jessica Drake (Cat Grant) and Aiden Ashley (Catwoman).

“Charlotte Stokely immediately sent me a phenomenal audition video, and showed an absolute commitment to the character, so I am very, very excited to have her on board, especially since I already have plans for a Batwoman solo movie in 2018,” Braun said.

Charlotte’s enthusiasm is sincere. Unable to find a Batwoman costume, she dressed up as Batman three years in a row in her younger years and she is a big comic book fan.

“What I love most about Batwoman, her strengths come from within,” Charlotte said. “She is not of celestial blood, nor has she had a weird chemical reaction, etc. It’s all her. I haven’t read the full script yet – I’ve only seen the lines for my audition. I’m very excited to see how Axel has written out her journey, he’s very creative! DC has left it open ended so anything could happen! I’m incredibly grateful to Axel for considering me to play this role. When my agent Sandra at OC Modeling called and told me to send in a video audition I couldn’t believe it. I memorized my lines as quickly as possible and just went for it. So many emotions!”

Braun has already said he has plans to shoot a Batwoman movie in 2018 and he is no doubt relieved to have his superstar ready to go.
