Monte is the Founder and President of RightOfTheDot, LLC, a licensed business and premium domain auction and brokerage firm that specializes in new and existing TLD strategy, Contention Resolution Services, board advisement, premium domain market positioning, sales, and services. He was the former President of SnapNames.com and the Founder and CEO of Moniker.com. Monte pioneered domain and aftermarket services and began investing in domain names in the mid-1990s. During his tenure, he assisted many new and existing TLDs in having successful launches through registrar promotions, premium domain sales and auctions, and marketing, brokerage, and sales. He has over 550 million dollars in domain sales and brokerage, including the industry's first $1 million dollar domain sale with the sale of Wallstreet.com and the industry's first $2 million dollar domain sale with the sale of Autos.com. Later, he sold the highest-priced domain in history, Porn.com, for $9.5 million, and Slots.com, for $5.5 million. He is also the creator of live and online domain auctions. He also pioneered the domain appraisals, domain escrow, and Whois Privacy services. On June 1st, Monte will once again host the NamesCon Global Domain Auction. Monte was inducted into the Domain Hall of Fame in 2010 by his colleagues in the industry.
