I was reading a story today over at Adult FYI where Donny Long calls out LA Direct Models for all of this HIV mess. Although most people will agree that for the most part Donny Long is pretty much insane with major drug problems of his own, on this particular part he may have a point. For awhile while now Donny Long has been calling out LA Direct Models on their risky hiring and booking practices. His bitch has been that it puts the girls at risk when you book them them to work with male talent that also works on gay or tranny sets and shockingly sometimes with no condoms.

There are a lot girls out there that mistakenly expect their booking agents to look out for their best interest. That is a very naive expectation that could end up costing that girl her life. What Donny Long has basically been pointing out for awhile now is companies like LA Direct Models will send a girl to do a scene with a guy like Christian, and the girl may not realize that he has previously had sex with a tranny. Which is typically considered “very risky behavior” in terms of HIV transmission.

So are companies like LA Direct Models who book female talent with male talent who has previously performed in “very risky behavior”? Well you have a brain, you can answer that for yourself but I’m sure if you ask Donny Long, he will say FUCK YES YOU STUPID MOTHER FUCKERS. What we do know though is that something needs to change. Most people consider HIV the illness of the ’90s but it is very much still alive and putting each and every porn star at risk even to this day. I’m all for porn but I’m also for the safety and well being of the girls who work in this business. For fuck sakes girls, start taking a proactive approach to your own safety and well being. Don’t expect your agents, managers or handlers to give two shits about you. You are an income to them. I don’t care what they say, in the end they don’t give two fucks about you. The only person that really cares about you in this business is YOU so start taking care of yourself. Grow a fucking spine and speak up, letting people know that you care about yourself and your future and stop taking so many fucking risks with your lives.

I don’t want to defend anybody…but to me,an asshole(the real thing)is an asshole so to send a girl to a scene where the male talent often works with trannies is not worst then to send the same girl to work with a male talent that often f….an whole bunch of anal queens…as long as both the trannies or the anal queen mainly/always work bare back.

it seems like the adult industry is getting alot of bad press lately for how it handles the safety of the performers, updated complete STD testing needs to be implemented asap for every scene of every movie worldwide. I know that is asking for alot but if you want to protect your investments for the long run then these steps must be taken IMO, all these producers and directors seem to have the mentality that the performers are just pieces of meat that can be replaced but I don’t think they understand that perverts worldwide (including myself) do become fans of many of these performers and continually want to see them fucking alive and well, and I hope alot more pornstars start educating themselves better on safety and business practices as time goes on and I thank lukeford for bringing these adult entertainment issues into the spotlight because no one else accept for a select few seem to want to talk about this of the industry
