War Machine and Shawna Lenee – a match made in heaven

I’m reading a story today at adultfyi about former mma fighter turned part time male porn star War Machine and his recent legal troubles and how he is about to be sentenced for whatever the fuck he did this time.

It was then I realized what a seriously missed opportunity it was for War Machine not to have met and got into a relationship with Shawna Lenee.  They both seem so much alike is so many ways.  I’m so anyone involved in the Shawna Lenee anal story can tell you that.

So here is my photo tribute to lost loves and missed opportunities and to two people who the industry probably won’t miss.  Well maybe they will, we all need a good story now and then.

By the way, in my entire life I have ever heard anyone be so fucking stupid that the DA no longer wants to honor a plea agreement with you because you opened your big fucking mouth and talked out of your ass.  What the fuck is wrong with people?

Sentencing Date Re-Scheduled for War Machine

–on the web

SAN DIEGO — from www.signonsandiego.com – A San Diego judge postponed a sentencing hearing for a former mixed-martial arts championship fighter, saying his behavior inside and outside the courtroom warranted prison not probation.

Jon Koppenhaver, who legally changed his name to War Machine, pleaded guilty last month to two counts of assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury. The case stems from altercations at a Point Loma bar in February and a Pacific Beach bar in March. He also admitted he violated probation on a previous case.

War Machine, 28, was expected to be formally sentenced in accordance with a plea bargain last Thursday, but Superior Court Judge David Danielsen said he was “inclined not to honor the plea agreement,” given the statements War Machine had made to the Probation Department, his assertion in court Thursday that he had not read the terms of the plea, and a series of Twitter messages posted online before he was booked into jail last month.

“This really is a state prison case,” Danielsen said.

War Machine pleaded guilty July 1 and agreed to report to county jail to begin serving a yearlong stint as a condition of probation. The judge allowed the mixed-martial artist to report to jail July 16 so he could participate in a professional fight scheduled a week earlier.

Prosecutors agreed not to ask for additional jail or prison time at the sentencing if War Machine complied with the order.

Deputy District Attorney Michael Runyon filed a document last week containing several expletive-laden “tweets” posted on War Machine’s Twitter page in which he apparently rails against the court system, minimizes his role in the bar fights and laments having to serve a jail term.

One of the tweets reads, in part, that it “doesn’t pay to win in a street fight … it doesn’t even pay to defend yourself our county has gone soft. We need a civil war!”

Danielsen acknowledged a defense attorney’s contention that War Machine was asserting his free speech rights online, but the judge noted that speech — much like one’s actions — can come with consequences. As the judge continued, he seemed to focus less on the tweets than on War Machine’s statements to a probation officer, whose report won’t become public until after the sentencing.

“I think his words and his actions show a certain disrespect to anybody other than himself,” the judge said, adding that War Machine often chooses to “fight” his way out of tough situations rather than “think” his way out.

“A year in custody will be the least of his consequences,” the judge said, citing the current plea agreement.

“You won’t be able to fight your way out of a state prison sentence.”

War Machine is due back in court for sentencing Aug. 24.

VIVID SET TO RELEASE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED TRISTAN TAORMINO’S ROUGH SEX 2 BASED ON REAL-LIFE FEMALE FANTASIES

LOS ANGELES — (August 18, 2010) – Vivid Entertainment will release Tristan Taormino’s Rough Sex 2 on Monday, August 23rd, meeting strong consumer demand for the second installment in the series from the AVN Award winning director.

The movie is based entirely on the real-life fantasies of an all-star cast of female performers, running the gamut from dominance to submission.  Through deeply personal interviews, the stars reveal their personal preferences for rough sex, why they love it, how they establish trust with their partners, and what they need to feel safe as they play on the edge.  The accompanying scenes in Rough Sex 2, part documentary and part erotic vignette, challenge conventional wisdom about the fantasy lives of women.

“In a politically correct world, it’s nice to see that director Tristan Taormino continues to push the envelope,” said Ben Atrophis of AVN in his AAAA1/2 review of the movie.  “In the sequel to the phenomenally successful Rough Sex she finds girls who have their own definitions of what makes ‘rough sex’ and they control the scenes by acting out their fantasies.  And a bunch of these babes are quite kinky.”

Sharing their personal fantasies in Rough Sex 2 are Claire Adams, Chayse Evans, April Flores, Sinnamon Love, Adrianna Nicole, Dylan Ryan, Bobbi Starr and Madison Young. Male performers in the movie include Mark Davis, James Deen, Shane Diesel, Richard Mann, Nathan Menace and Orpheus Black.

The performers create the scenes, choose their partners and control what happens.  Mistress Claire takes her pet April on an unforgettable ride; Bobbi tastes total submission at the back of her throat; Pony girl Madison gets trained; Chayse and Mark double team slave Adrianna; Madison bakes a cake for her Mistress with interesting results; Sinnamon serves her Master (and his friends) at a poker game. Each woman shares her most intimate desires, tests her own boundaries, and rides the seductive line between pleasure and pain.

“This is female sexuality at its most extreme: raw, rough, and real,” director Taormino says.  “You’ll see food fetish play, face-sitting, strap-on sex, pony play, flogging, training, clothespins, forced orgasms, spreader bars, bondage, wrestling, slapping, spanking, dominance and submission, service, punishment, knife play, hot wax, and face-slapping. Rough Sex 2 is a lot kinkier than Rough Sex 1.  It explores some of the most alluring and taboo elements of BDSM. I think my fans will love it!”

Vivid sales director Howard Levine said: “Rough Sex has done really well for us, and Tristan has upped the ante in this second installment. I know it’s going to be really popular with retailers.”

The movie was shot in high definition and the DVD includes chapter search, DVD-ROM compatible, no regional coding plus a behind the scenes featurette on choking & safety.

Fine Art or Smut – that is the question

So I’m catching up on the latest headlines when I see this from AVN: AFA Levels Porn Charge at Sears. After reading the article it got me to thinking, what is the difference between fine art and smut? Why are some nudes worthy of study at college and other fully clothed art should be censored. Take for instance the famous Goya painting of a naked lady on the couch. Besides being hung in a museum and printed in art literature textbooks, you can buy a reproduction at Sears. Goya is considered on of the Masters in the art world. He painted the Nude Maja in the late 1700’s early 1800’s.

Now take this next picture and compare it to the Goya. Some people, like the crazies at AFA would consider this one Smut. However you can purchase this picture at Sears under the “Fine Art” category search. She is reclined on a couch just like the Goya, but this model is fully clothed NOT nude. This is not museum or textbook quality fine art, this is considered Smut that we should protect our children against it. Hmmm. Is it because it’s a photograph and not painted? But then again, Ansel Adams uses photography and not oils for his masterpieces.

Now let’s look at another Fine Art portrait hanging in a museum in Budapest. It was painted by renaissance artist Giulio Romano circa 1525-1528 titled, Lovers.

Now skip forward 500 years and this portrait, also titled Lovers, is considered Smut. And like the previous example, this one does NOT contain nudity like it’s fine art counterpart. This doesn’t even have to be considered sexual. These two ladies could be embracing in a hug for comfort. This piece leaves a lot to the imagination, whereas the masterpiece doesn’t. It is clearly an old guy fucking a young girl doggie style. But hey, it’s Fine Art and not Smut or pornography.

And how about the famous Botticelli painting, The Birth of Venus.

Take the same painting in a modern setting, and it is no longer considered a work of art, but a work of smut. And again, the model has on clothing!

The president of the AFA said, “These aren’t just posters of scantily-clad women. Some of them depict groups of people, lesbians and others engaged in ***ual activities. Very little is left to the imagination.”

Really? This guy clearly has nothing better to do with his time. The guy probably got busted looking a these girls on-line so decided to worm his way out of it. I just want to know what specific thing or things makes one artwork Fine Art and the other, almost identical yet more modest pieice, Smut that people would throw a big fit over? I want to to know if these people have ever taken their children to the local art mueseum? Or if they would consider taking their children to the Sistine Chapel if they were ever in Rome?  I don’t know about you, but I think that I would rather my children see all of these moderen artworks at the Sear’s website than the artworks hanging in the museums. So I say to all the people over at AFA and all the others with that same frame of mind, JUST SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY!

Gina Lynn interview

Here is a great interview with the smokin’ hot Gina Lynn from the guys over at Free Speech Revolution.

1) How long have you been in the industry? How did you get started? Have you had fun in the industry?

I have been in the industry for 10 years and they went quick. I got started when I was on a photo shoot with Travis in Vegas when we were approached about doing a video so we decided to give it a try and here I am today, that movie was called 18 in Vegas. There have been a lot of fun times but some bad ones too but I have had a good career for
the most part.

2) Are you concerned with the rights of the adult industry to make and produce movies/web clips?

Yes and I really don’t understand why they are up our
ass’ when there is so much more this country needs to
worry about. All the crime, war and homelessness is what they should be focused on.

3) A lot of the problem people have with the adult industry is the misconception that “pornographers”
are always trying to lure under age people in and make “kiddie porn”.

Could you talk about what it is actually like on a set, as far as having ID, signing model releases, having a AIM test, etc? Have you seen or heard of anyone in the legitimate adult industry knowingly using minors in films
or the web?

I have never heard or know of anyone that is affiliated with child pornography. Travis has two beautiful teenage kids and when their mom tried to take them away because of us being in the industry she used everything possible in court including that I was sleeping with under age boys. Note that she is religious and part of a big church so they are quick to judge even though the Bible says “Judge not lest ye be judged”. I know that because Travis dad is
a Baptist preacher. Needless to say she lost and we have 1/2 custody and she hates us but we are not bad people at all we just make adult entertainment for adult only viewing pleasures! Sorry I got side tracked, LOL. When we go on set we must provide 2 forms of government issued ID, sign a release form saying these are true ID’s and that we are not on drugs, alcohol and know what we are taking place in. We must have a valid AIM Panel test which needs to be retaken
every 30 days. I feel safer in the industry than I would hooking up at a bar.

4) Do you ever get offended by shows like South Park or Family Guy? What do you think about shows/writing that offends people?

I don’t watch much TV so I cant make a statement on these particular shows but we do have something called Freedom of Speech!

5) What do you think about some of the stuff that pushes the limit in the adult industry, stuff like Max Hardcore, Kink.com, JM Productions?

I have done some pretty hardcore stuff in my career so I must say it sells because their are some crazy fucking people out there and the harder the better but we must be careful not to piss off those government officials that are waiting to jump on stuff like this.

6) Have you ever been asked to do a scene or something on film that you thought was crazy and wondered if it was offensive/legal? What was it? Did you do the scene or the act anyway?

Well I did do a scene for Facial Abuse.com and
will never do it again. I think that is drawing the line
and its probably only a matter of time until they are looked at.

7) Why do you think America has such a fascination with sex and with regulating sex?

Ha ha well it’s part of human nature to be attracted to sex and what makes us feel good. On the other hand we can get carried away so its probably not a bad thing that they regulate it to a certain extent. We should just be smart and courteous about how we display it.

8.) A lot of people in the industry have told me that most the people in the industry don’t care about protecting free speech, or really about anyone other then themselves and their money. Do you think this is true?

Do you think a lot of the people that are new to the industry care or have any concern about free speech and protecting the right to make movies? WOW this is a tough one because their are a lot of young people in the business that probably don’t care because this is a dream come true/spotlight and their only thinking about themselves. On the other hand their are those of us that have established a business from the industry whether that be a production company for DVD, web site, distribution or adult toy lines that need to be concerned about the freedom of speech.

9) Is the “character” you play in your DVD’s anything like you in real life?

Totally opposite, I am very quite and sometimes shy. I am very sexual active though whether I’m masturbating or having sex it seems like the older I get the hornier I am.

10) What is the craziest thing you have done/or scene you’ve been in on camera?

I think the craziest movie I have done was Gina Lynn’s Darkside the whole movie.

11) Have you been involved with trying to change people’s opinions about the industry?

Yes I was named in AVN as one of the Top 40 Most Influential People in the business

12) Why do you think the industry is so caught up on the portrayal of young- a lot of DVD’s always say “18 & 19 years old” etc?

It sells and people like to see young girls getting fucked hard with big dicks. Right?

13) What is your website? http://GinaLynn.com & http://GinaLynnProductions.com

John Holmes the porn legend or the child rapist? You decide.

I’m flipping channels the other day and I come to the E! network.  It was a show on the most gruesome crimes in history.  Just so happens that at the time I start watching they come to what has become known as The Wonderland murders.   At the start of the story they mention that porn star John Holmes during his time in the adult industry appeared in some 2500 movies.  Wait … what??  2500??? SERIOUSLY???????

Then someone tells me, oh well Ron Jeremy has been in over 2,000 himself.  Wow.  I really had never sat and thought about it.  Those two really are porn legends.  That I always knew but until today I never really sat and thought about how many more movies they had been in compared to stars of our day.

To give you some sense of comparison in terms of today’s stars IAFD tells us that Jesse Jane has been in about 62 movies.  Briana Banks has been in about 249 movies.    Christy Canyon was in about 243 movies.  Racquel Darrian was in 101, Chasey Lain was in 96 movies, Jenna Jameson was in 150, Tera Patrick 105, Belladonna 277, and Eva Angelina with 412.  The only one I could think of who has came close to something like their numbers is Jenna Haze is 502.

But back to John Holmes.

John Holmes was a performer from 1969-1988.   19 years in this business is pretty much unheard of.  The only other two I know of still making movies 19 years later even if just here and there would be Ron Jeremy and Christy Canyon.  She started in 1984 and made her last appearance in a movie in 2005.

He performed under a ton of different names such as Long John Wodd, Mr. John Holmes, John C. Holms, Johnny Holmes, John Duval, John C. Holmes, John Curtis Holmes, Johnny Wadd, Big Jon Fallus, Big John, John Rey, Mark Lloyd.

John Holmes had been with a lot of woman in his time, both on camera and off.  One can’t help but wonder if he ever had any offspring from his numerous affairs.

One of his affairs was with a 16 year old child.  During the height of his popularity in porn he took on a secret lover with a 16 year old little girl who lived in a complex he and his wife managed.  She would later say she looked up to John Holmes like a father figure and would remain his lover for 5 years.  After which time she ran to the police and turned him in.

During the course of their relationship she claimed he beat her, pimped her out and make her prostitute herself for drug money, raped her repeatedly, got her involved in what would become known as the Wonderland murders, got her chased across country by drug lords and the feds.

I didn’t read the book but I read her biography and her summary of what she said took place, as well as about 5 different reviews and interviews and the one thing that stuck out to me is how still, even to this day, she doesn’t seem to want to take responsibility for her own actions.  She continues to want to play the victim role.  And maybe she is a victim of rape and domestic violence.  It wouldn’t be to far of a leap to assume a porn star who did drugs and was involved in a horrid murder would also beat up his girlfriend but somewhere, sometime in your life you have to say in the 5 years she was in this relationship, did she never once think for herself?  Did she never once say I don’t need this shit and just leave?  No.  But when she did finally leave, the first thing she did was run to the police to get him arrested for sleeping with her when she was underage, for revenge.

I have been through my own bad relationships and I can probably say that with a strong level of confidence that John Holmes probably did beat her up a few times.  He probably did do a lot of the douche bag things in her book but you can’t play the victim card forever.  There has to come a point in your life when you say, I was the dumb ass for staying with him and I take full responsibility for my actions.

She about 21 when she left him.  That was more than old enough to know right from wrong.  Blame it on the drugs, blame it on his all powerful presence, fine whatever … but in the end, the only person you can really blame is yourself.

So what John Holmes a porn legend or a pedophile?  In the end I guess you’ll have to read her book and judge for yourself.

I know that I’m usually the nice one that posts here but today I just had to take a stand because this just really hasn’t been sitting right with me since I first got the press release about her book.  Then when I seen the story on E! I just knew this post was screaming out for me to write.  John Holmes is dead so he can’t exactly defend himself so really anyone can say anything they want and there isn’t anyone who can dispute it.

I hope that all these bad things really didn’t happen to her.  I would hate to think that anyone would be stupid enough to fall in love with someone who would beat them up, make them become a hooker and they would stay with them for year after year after year.  But I guess that happens every day in our society.  And it really is sad.  Did it happen this time?  That’s really up to you to decide but in the mean time her book is getting  a lot of great reviews so if nothing else it’s a good read I hear.

The Road Through Wonderland is the haunting memoir of a young girl sucked into the gritty world of drugs, abuse and John Holmes

The Road Through Wonderland: Surviving John Holmes

(August 10, 2010 – CHICAGO): By age 20, Dawn Schiller had been prostituted, raped and nearly kidnapped; linked to the 1981 gruesome Wonderland murders; and chased cross country by federal officials and drug lords. She had also been the girlfriend of the legendary porn star John Holmes for nearly five years—a disturbing relationship centered on her yearning for love and eventual fear, and his desire for power and drugs.

In her disquieting memoir, The Road Through Wonderland: Surviving John Holmes (Medallion Press, August 2010) with forewords by Val Kilmer and Kate Bosworth, Schiller offers a candid and shocking account of the troubling childhood that led her to Holmes and how her fragile emotions and his addictive persona thrust her into an unsettling and brutal world of abuse, cocaine, prostitution and murder.

A child of the ‘70s, Schiller recalls her youth spent in a broken home in a rough neighborhood of Carol City, Florida, “listening to heavy metal, getting high and hating life.” With the return of her hippie-pot-smoking father, 15-year-old Schiller hoped for a better life and followed her father to Southern California—an ensuing marijuana-fueled journey that ultimately ended at a home managed by the “king of porn,” John Holmes.

As Schiller recalls in The Road to Wonderland, Holmes—then a 32-year-old married man who, as Schiller embarrassingly remembers, was immediately disappointed in her young age—quickly became an odd but caring father figure to her. Writing with a blend of adolescent perspective and regretful hindsight, Schiller divulges how her feelings for Holmes shifted from a protective friend—initially helping him and his wife with their garden for extra money—to a dominant lover, recalling their first sexual encounter in which she “remained deathly still, pinned immobile under John’s strength.”

In The Road Through Wonderland, Schiller heartbreakingly reveals how John’s “presence, words, and actions filled every lonely, dejected void [she] harbored inside,” ultimately leading her down a path of seedy motels, the drug underworld and perpetual fear. With heartrending and frightening detail, she exposes how John’s raging temper and addiction to freebase cocaine transformed him into a paranoid maniac, who—after beating her up and forcing her to prostitute herself—would viciously scrub her clean in the bathtub while sobbing with apologies.

By turns salacious, by turns tender, this honest account also lends insight to the dynamic of Schiller’s bizarre but touching relationship with Holmes’ wife, candidly detailing their Christmases spent together and how she taught Schiller how to cook John’s favorite meals and fold his clothes to his preferences. The Road Through Wonderland also traces Schiller’s time on the run after the famed Wonderland Murders and her journey to self-acceptance, forgiveness and clarity that birthed Throwaway Teens, a program that brings awareness to kids who are targeted and influenced by predators, and E.S.T.E.A.M., a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting teens who are struggling to find a safe and successful path to adulthood.

A harrowing and surrealistic story of power, control, love and false hope, The Road Through Wonderland lends startling insight into the mind of a teenage girl whose desire for affection, meaning and love fueled her trust in a man that would haunt and scar her life forever.

Dawn Schiller was an associate producer and consultant on the 2003 movie Wonderland, which depicted the life of John Holmes in and around 1981. She is a member of a variety of committees—including the President’s Commission on the Status of Women and the National Center of Victims of Crime—and she has developed a program called Throwaway Teens: Who Are They and How Can We Help?, which brings awareness to the experiences of kids targeted and groomed by predators. Schiller is also the founder of E.S.T.E.A.M. (Empowering Successful Teens through Education, Awareness and Mentoring), a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting teens who are struggling to find a safe and successful path to adulthood.
