XCRITIC NAMES ALLIE HAZE FEMALE PERFORMER OF THE YEAR

“Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody” is Top Adult Parody and Kimberly Kane is Honored for “Kimberly Kane’s Been Blackmaled”

LOS ANGELES (January 3, 2012) – XCritic.com, a leading news and review site for adult movies, has named Vivid Girl Allie Haze the “Female Performer of the Year” on its annual list of top movies and performers. XCritic.com also selected the Vivid movie “Spider-Man XXX: A Porn Parody” as the top adult parody of the year and named the Vivid movie “Kimberly Kane’s Been Blackmaled” as one of the Top 10 adult releases of the year.

The 23-year-old Allie was named Best New Starlet in early 2011 by XRCO and then by Night Moves magazine. A movie review today was posted on Adult FYI reviewing Jessica Drake’s official website.  Apparently it didn’t get such a good review.  In fact, I think it got one of their lowest reviews to date.  [source]

Sean from AdultFYI and Adult Cyber Mart writes: Jessica Drake is a multi-award winning superstar and member of several industry related halls of fame. She also has an exclusive contract with Wicked Pictures and she is a hot looking blonde which in my book supersedes all of her other accomplishments. That being said, her official website, JessicaDrake.com, doesn’t come close to equaling her industry status.

The site is designed well and is easy to navigate. It also meets the industry standard by offering movie clips and pictures.

Taking the site tour I was a little confused with the description of the videos. It’s advertised that the site has scenes from all her latest Wicked movies. Great, but then further down the page I see a ‘View Movie Now!’ icon. So what is it, do members see the whole movie or just her scenes? Your guess is as good as mine.

Her biography and list of industry awards appear to have not been updated since 2008. The last award mentioned was a Best All-Girl Sex Scene won in 2007. I went to Wikipedia and discovered that since then she has won the following awards: 2009 AVN Award – Best Actress, 2009 AVN Award – Best Double Penetration Sex Scene, 2009 XRCO Award – Single Performance, Actress, 2010 AVN Hall of Fame inductee, 2010 AVN Award – Best Group Sex Scene, 2011 XRCO Hall of Fame inductee.

Her site also has a blog and appearance page as well. Both haven’t been updated since April 10, 2011.

This site, somebody’s attitude, or both, need a complete overhaul. A site cannot survive on name recognition alone. Her name may get fans to visit the site, but fresh content and updates keeps the fans coming back. Even the best restaurants change up their menu occasionally.

On a side note, the site seems to be run by the now defunct Adult Star Profits that from what I heard they took off with all the money owed to the girls and let them hanging.  But my question is, if that is true, then why keep the site up at all?  Clearly someone is running things.  NATs cost at the very least $150 a month.  So somebody is paying that bill, not to mention the monthly web hosting fees and the domain name registration fees.   So if you are allowing new joins and not updating the site then perhaps this  D+ was well deserved.  Her fans deserve better, especially if she is going to milk them for $30 a month.

Savannah Gold Found Dead

in July of 2010 is was widely reported that porn star Savanna Gold (aka Natalie Heck) was attacked and left for dead.  Some jack ass trying to rob her slit her throat.  She apparently spent a few months in Spain recovering amidst several false reports of her death.  However today porn star Kerry Louise is saying she is now dead this week although no specific details were given.

The Sun as well as other news sources say that Savannah Gold had put her porn career on hold and went back to the US but she actually filmed quite a few scenes for Bluebird Films at their London studios, one specifically just before the July 2010 attack.

Adam & Eve Contract Star Teagan Presley and Director Joshua Featured Nearly Nude in Recently Released Mainstream Book, Tattoos and Tentacles

Tattoos certainly seem to be all the rage, and at least in the adult world, tattoos are not nearly as frowned upon as they were five years ago. The proliferation of tattoos on adult stars is everywhere, and the same effect is only now starting to become more and more accepted in the mainstream world.

Earlier this year, Adam & Eve contract star Teagan Presley and director Joshua were approached on appearing in acclaimed mainstream photographer Julian Murray’s upcoming Tattoos and Tentacles book. Presley had just come off a stint as the first adult star ever to grace the cover of the mainstream tattoo magazine, Inked, and was eager to do another mainstream shoot. Joshua, on the other hand, has been behind the camera exclusively the past four years, but had spent over fifteen years as a mainstream print model previously.

“My first thought when Julian approached me, was obviously they only want Teagan for this gig.” Joshua explains, “When Julian said that he wanted both of us, my response was that clearly no one wants to see me naked. Even Teagan is probably sick of seeing me naked. I also didn’t want my goods wrapped in octopus, so Julian agreed to have my shoot be a topless only shoot. I would have preferred pasties, but I had to agree or sleep on the couch. I am already suggesting we do an all-male sequel to the book, Tattoos and Testicles.”

The shoot was staged at Presley and Joshua’s lush tropical setting pool and cabana area at their home in Las Vegas, and both were covered in baby dead octopi. “The smell from the baby octopus was really off putting, and I am OCD with stuff like this, and I couldn’t wait to jump in the shower.” Presley adds, “Julian (Murray) was great, and the finished pictures are something I will treasure long after my career ends.”

Tattoos and Tentacles is a photographic art series combining the stunning world of tattoo art, an impressive sea creature with tentacles and extraordinary individuals. The series originated in 2008 while in the Midwest and later fed by the West-Coast scene; it quickly developed into an expanding series, creating concepts, set displays and utilizing different location to complete an array of edgy portraits.
