HPV is no big deal, eh?

Got a letter today from a concerned citizen. I thought I would share it with you because some of this needs to be said.

For a long time now people like Mike South and others have been bitching loudly about the porn industry testing standards. Case in point … HPV. We can test for it, but we don’t. “It’s not a big deal” says one industry big shot.

Well I wonder what Michael Douglas has to say about that … he now suffers from throat cancer, which has now been directly related to HPV he contracted through oral sex.

HPV is no big deal huh?

If we really want to protect the talent then why the fuck aren’t we actually doing it with the most basic of services like mandatory HPV testing?

Stop with all the bullshit full body suit ads. That’s so fucking stupid. It makes me want to punch that bitch in the nose who came up with that stupid shit.

Let’s instead talk about real solutions.

Spend time and money on things that fucking count.

Testing your fucking talent for shit that can actually kill them.

Cancer is serious shit.

But in the end you really only care about one thing and that is the bottom fucking line and the bottom fucking line is, it is far to cost prohibitive to test for things like HPV.

So please shut the fuck up with your full body shit ads already and stop pretending like you fucking care about anything but your big fat 6 figure a year paycheck to stupid cunt.

Fuck you. Do something that really matters.

And by really matters I don’t mean try and spend your time covering up where all the fucking money went for the talent pool that got donated that magically disappeared.

In closing, fuck you Diane Duke. May you contact a plethora of diseases and go to jail for stealing that money. Oh sorry forgot, “misappropriation of funds”.

What’s a little felony fraud between friends, eh?

Have you ever looked up the word “authority”?  I did recently and it said …

“The word authority can be used to mean power given by the state (in the form of Members of Parliament, Judges, Police Officers, etc.) or by academic knowledge of an area (someone can be an authority on a subject).

In October of last year I pointed out that Wicked Pictures contract performer Jessica Drake have been attempting to pass herself off as a “sexual wellness expert” which in most states is a felony.

But clearly that didn’t drive the point home because just today I seen that Jessica Drake is not only still calling herself a sexual wellness authority but she has taken it a step further and plans to lead 3 sex education seminars in Arizona.

It is a felony for anyone to pretend to be a medical expert when they are not.  You can’t just going around saying you are a doctor when you aren’t or in this particular case without actually saying “doctor” they are instead implying expert or authoritative knowledge in this specific area of study which is usually attributed to those with a degree in psychology or related area of study.  So telling people you are an authority when you aren’t really can be a very big deal … perhaps even fraud and a felony.

I mean committing fraud by calling yourself that is one thing but to actually go forth with sex education seminars is a whole now can of worms.  What the fuck is Wicked Pictures thinking about participating in this fraud and sending out press release to promote it.  This makes them a part of the felony.  And yes I do mean actual felony as most states have laws against this very thing and it falls under felony fraud.

At the time I wrote the first story last October I looked into it before making this post just to make sure I’m not mistaken but as I suspected, it turns out Jessica Drake, who has been promoting herself as a “sexual wellness authority” doesn’t have a degree in that area of study or actually any degree at all from what I can find.

Some may ask, what does it matter if she is trying to pretend like she is something she isn’t?  Who does it really hurt?

Well it hurts those who are actually qualified to be an authority on sexual wellness.  For example Dr. Victoria Zdrok who actually has a PhD in Clinical Psychology who also happens to be a former Playboy Playmate and Penthouse Pet of the Year.  She also did a few adult movies as well.  But again she has a PhD and that makes her an actual AUTHORITY on sexual wellness.

There are porn stars who go on to do things like that with their lives.  But Jessica Drake didn’t.  She just gave herself that label.  She feels she is an authority so she decided to call herself that.

Apparently just having sex with a lot of men makes this porn star and Wicked Pictures and their related PR team feel entitled to call her an “Emerging Sexual Wellness Authority” and that is a huge problem.

We have enough issues in our industry right now … do we really need to add to it by letting the mainstream media or politicians know that a porn star who no degree in this area of study and has spent years in a damaging relationship with a married man, is claiming to be an “authority on sexual wellness”?

She isn’t a doctor.  She has no degree of study in this field.   Sucking a lot of cock doesn’t make you an authority on sexual wellness.  Nor does sleeping with a married man make you an expert of relationships.  It actually kinda makes you just the opposite but that’s another story for another day.

SO QUIT PROMOTING HER AS AN AUTHORITY IN THIS FIELD!  SHE’S A PORN STAR NOT A CERTIFIED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL  Believe it or not there is a major difference between the two.

But for those of you who don’t have a degree in clinical psychology or a related field, just being a porn star doesn’t make you an authority on all matters.  You make be able to suck a hell of a cock but that’s a far cry from an authority on sexual wellness.

So to make this clear so there is no confusion … while there are porn stars with advanced degrees, Jessica Drake does not seem to have one, at least not one that I found after reading numerous published biographies and interviews about her.  She most especially does not have a degree in psychology or any related medical field that make make her an expert or authority on sexual wellness.  She’s a porn star.  Making porn is her area of expertise.  Sexual wellness is not and continuing to say you are is fraudulent and quite possibly criminal.

And calling me a bitch doesn’t make this fact any less true.  Fraud is fraud and liking me or not liking me doesn’t really change that.

Hey Porn Stars … Don’t Make the “JILLIAN” Mistake

As a porn star, your name is everything.  It is your brand.  It is you.  It is your means to make money.  Fans know you by your name.  Agents book you by your name.  I mean it’s a pretty simple concept … without a name, how would people know who you are, right?

Your name needs to be unique to you and that is why it’s better to have a first and last name.  Sure they are a lot of Jenna’s out there, but there is only one Jenna Jameson.
But don’t just take my word for it.

Let’s look at the case of the former Good Day LA host, Jillian Barberie Reynolds has been working hard these last 10 years to build up her career on a national level.  On the local scene, she had more than made it.  Everyone knew who Jillian Barberie Reynolds was.  But on a national level she wasn’t quite as famous.  But she got lucky and she did start to expand her brand nationally.  She even got not one but two different gigs as a weight watchers spokesperson and on a few reality TV shows.

The problem is, when she started accepting these international jobs she often times would only identify herself as just Jillian.

Well it turns out if people are looking for a famous Jillian they would find Jillian Michaels and not her.  Why?  Well because the other Jillian is far more famous.  It was a huge branding mistake and has no doubt cost her a lot of promotion for her brand.

So, what does all of this mean to you?

It means get a unique, easy to remember name and use it.  Don’t go around just using your friend name.  Remember your full name is your brand so use it every chance you get.
If you search IAFD you will find there are 30 different porn stars who have used or are currenly using the name “Audrey”.   But you know what?  There is only one Audrey Hollander.  That is how her fans know her.  That is how they identify with her brand.

Just something to keep that in mind next time you are working on building your brand.

if they news says it, it must be true

This Lauren Scruggs story has bothered me for awhile now but today even more so.  I watched a welcome back intro video she did for AOL.  The first thing she did was say her name and then “I was hit by an airplane propeller”.  No bitch, I think you mean you walked into it.

Next she tells how she was a “fashion journalist” and during the past year the news media has been describing her as a fashion blogger.

At the time I looked up her site and it was about 17 posts covering about 7 or 8 months time with her taking pictures in her back yard of some outfit she got at TJ Max or some other bargain discount place.  Not high fashion or remotely professional. It was seriously her in her back  yard.  And as far as the site goes, it’s a fucking wordpress blog with no design and they can’t even bother to tag or put categories on their post.  Seriously their posts are ‘uncategeorized’ the default no category for all wordpress installs.  They post a lot of pages from other magazines like vogue.  How the fuck does scanning and posting a picture from Vouge magazine make you a fashion journalist?

These pics somehow make her a journalist and model?

Well fuck.  What can I say?  The media has hit a new low.  But I guess that does make for a better sounding headline than the real thing …. dumb blonde bitch wasn’t fucking paying attention, big shock there huh?  Walks her dumb ass into the airplane propeller after getting off the plane, probably drunk.

She’s kinda hot so we want to talk about this story but we need to somehow justify it so we’ll call her a fashion blogger and model which we’ll keep saying, and maybe if we say it enough times it will be true.
