WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. — Jill Kelly Productions filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy six years ago, but,according to www.xbiz.com the final decree closing the case was just signed off.

After accounting and legal fees were added up and paid out, only $109,000 remained to pay off unsecured claims.

Numerous secured claims were disallowed, including those from adult studio X-Gen LLC and International Video Innovations, as well as Canyon Capital Marketing Inc., American Suzuki Financial Services and Chrysler Capital Marketing Inc.

X-Gen, owned by Frank and Michael Koretsky, who also own International Video Distributors, had about $500,000 in secured claims.

After the Chapter 11 filing in 2005, Penthouse agreed to pay $1.765 million at a bankruptcy court auction for the major assets of JKP. Those assets included more than 200,000 burned and packaged DVDs, as well as 65 unreleased masters.

There is a thing in the adult industry known as cross sales.   A lot of times these cross sale deals are made in a sort of, you scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours kind of deal.

In short, website A offers a consumer the opportunity to join website B for a great discount, sometimes free for 1 to 3 days, sometimes for just a $1.  In return website B pays website A a kickback or commission of typically $20 to $25.  Website B is banking on the fact that the consumer in question will love their website so much they will stay a member and in return, they will make their money back on the full membership price and any recurring months they may stay a member after that.

Sounds simple enough, right?  Well really it is, but the problem with this system is when you have a company like Adult Friend Finder, who will go to people and trade favors for things they want of rather good value, say for example if a company owned a content company as well and AFF might say, reduce my cost on this huge amount of content I just bought from you and in return I’ll send you a ton of new members through a cross sale deal.   The problem is AFF sends over fake sales.

So now the guy just gave AFF a huge discount, losing thousands of dollars on content in return for, nothing.  Actually worse than nothing, in return for a large number of chargebacks.

What AFF is doing is bullying new members into joining a series of websites, as many as 8 “FREE TRIALS” to activate their membership and talk to other members.  They promise, you won’t have to pay for anything, just join and then cancel right away.

See what they just did there?  Now website B just got themselves a whole bunch of members fraudulently.

How fucked up is that?

So before you sit down and consider making any deals with any Penthouse owned websites including Penthouse, Adult Friend Finder or Danni.com, just keep in mind this story you just heard because you could be the sucker who gets scammed by them next!

People give themselves titles and act and then get so full of themselves they sort of start to buy into their own bullshit.

While it is true a lot of the world is full of dumb shits like this but the adult industry seems to have a large number of them.

Not a single day goes by in a week that I don’t check my email and have some new outstanding claim, like the director who claims to invented the entire parody genre, despite the fact that he’s only been directing movies since 2004.

Apparently he forgot that for the previous 10 or 15 years companies like VCA and Sinderella had been putting out parodies themselves.  Hell even Vivid had some pornographic parodies in the 1990′s.

Can’t remember any of the details off of the top of my head right now but I can recall a Buffy The Vampire Slayer parody.   Buffy The Vampire Slayer was a series on TV from 1997 to 2003 so since it was off the air before he even started directing, how the fuck could Will Ryder possibly have created the entire parody genre.  Are you fucking kidding me?

But you know he’s not alone.  He isn’t the only one out there blowing enormous amounts of smoke up our asses.

Who remembers the bullshit press releases from Vivid over the past few years with news of sales that weren’t true?  Wasn’t like the Montana Fishburne bullshit story of 50,000 units sold was the first time they bullshitted about their numbers.   Now the person who used to be in charge of their sales has moved on and as of late he seems to have a big interest in Penthouse DVD and even making some Vivid style big claims of his own.  Triple their sales almost overnight?  Really?  After being fed so many fucking lies over the years from his team I’m going to have to call bullshit on this one as well.

I know people say it’s all a part of the PR game but really how effective is lies as a strategy?  I would think that after so many years of bullshit that people start seeing those people as a joke who they have no respect for.  So since they lied so fucking much now people lost respect for them so how the fuck is that working out for them as a PR strategy?

So it got me thinking.  Why do people do this?  And why is it so common in the adult business?

This chick I know always goes on about how a person is only as good as their word.  She says it a lot and it used to annoy the fuck out of me but you know maybe that bitch was on to something.  I mean fuck how many more fucking times a day can we go through a day when some dip shit isn’t trying to feed us a line of bullshit?

I got an email today with what they called an “important update”.  Really?  You think it is really “important”?  Important to who?  I visited your site and it isn’t even a Page Rank 1 site.  So how fucking important is your site really?  If you can’t even figure out how to get your site a page rank 1 and it’s been around since 2004, how fucking important can your site really be?

Next I noticed your site talked about having over 300 full length movies for your members so I decided to check out your movies page.  When the fuck did a 7 minute scene count as full length?  And I’m not just being a dick here, this site had about 40 listed as newly added about of those 40, not any of them were longer than 12 minutes and most of them were about 7 minutes.

I can remember when people would bitch about a 20 minute scene being to short.  But we have come to accept scenes as 7 to 12 minutes as full length.  What the fuck is wrong with people?

On Twitter LukeisBack tipped her off to the post and Shawna Lenee went off about the people.  Keep in mind just the night before it was she who confirmed the appointment.    If she wasn’t going to show up she a) should not have said she would and b) at the very least call and say I’m sorry I wasted your time.  I know I booked this appointment and then confirmed it last night and said I would for sure be there but it turns out something else came up so I can’t make it.  But no, instead she calls the guy out for being a “f’ing retard” and a “perv”.

Penthouse May Go Under? This Lawsuit’s Only Part of the FriendFinder problem of Finding Friends


From www.gawker.com- FriendFinder Networks, the publisher of Penthouse and operator of adult-classifieds websites, is facing a sexy legal scandal. A former top executive who went public with her grievances has now filed a lawsuit.


Natalie Cedeno, FriendFinder’s former director of human resources, was fired in January without cause, she says, after a series of run-ins with management over practices she believed were improper or illegal.


Cedeno claims the atmosphere at the company changed substantially after Penthouse Media Group acquired Various Inc., the operator of Adult FriendFinder and other websites, in 2007 and changed its name to FriendFinder Networks. Various was buttoned-up, she says, despite operating websites where users planned hookups. Penthouse, by comparison, was pure frat-boy raunch — an attitude which culminated in an incident where a Penthouse Pet draped her boobs on an unwilling female employee in a staged photo meant to humiliate her.


There’s more. The complete lawsuit is included below, but here are the highlights — or lowlights:


25. In or about April, 2008 plaintiff received complaints regarding racist comments concerning employees and prospective employees being made by the company’s Controller, Al Mercado. Mercado made racially disparaging comments regarding Indians, Asians and people whose spoke English as their second language, which he admitted to Plaintiff. Plaintiff met with and counseled Mr. Mercado on three separate occasions, yet his discriminatory conduct continued. The complaints regarding Mr. Mercado’s racially disparaging comments were received from Accounting Supervisor, Brinda Calori who had asked to be given a new assignment because she was distressed by Mercado’s conduct. Plaintiff went to Carmela Monti and recommended that Mercado be discharged. Monti refused to terminate Mercado and instead ordered that Ms. Calori be terminated. Plaintiff objected to Monti’s decision to terminate Ms. Calori and complained to the Vice-President of Finance who refused to become involved. Plaintiff is informed and believes and thereon alleges that Ms. Calori has filed a complaint with the EEOC for retaliatory discharge resulting from her complaints.


28. In May 2008 FriendFinder brought two Penthouse Pets and a male model into the Sunnyvale office to serve ice cream to the employees. The Pets were dressed in revealing attire that caused a female supervisor to complain that their presence and the fact that they were “porn stars” made her so uncomfortable that she would stay in her office away from this activity. The Pets went up to the supervisor’s office and one of them placed her breasts on the employees head while two other employees’ took pictures. The supervisor came to Plaintiff’s office in tears. She was visibly shaken and upset and informed Plaintiff that she was afraid the photos would be put on the Internet. Plaintiff had previously telephoned Carmela Monti, informed her that the Pets were pinching the nipples of the male employees, rubbing their bare chest and inappropriately touching staff, and asked that Monti allow her to have the Pets removed from the office. Monti had refused Plaintiff’s request and after the incident involving the supervisor Plaintiff called Monti again, asking that the Pets be removed because their behavior violated the company’s sexual harassment policy. Monti again refused Plaintiff’s request that she be authorized to direct the Pets to leave the office. COO Tony Previte appeared supported Monti’s decision, stating that the employee who complained was a “trouble maker.”


39. In or about August or September, 2008, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Las Vegas office, Jason Rasberry, made inappropriate sexual comments concerning a female employee (TE). The CTO said to 5-6 male coworkers in the presence of TE (the group was standing together on a smoke break) “I’ve had seen TE naked and her breasts are too small.” The CTO admitted having made the comment. The CTO had a history of previous misconduct in the workplace for which he had received disciplinary action. Prior to this incident the CTO had asked a male applicant who was interviewing for a position in the company’s Technology Department to “chose any item and he would have one of the girls on cams.com insert it into her vagina.”


FriendFinder appears to be facing severe financial trouble. The company filed for a $460 million public stock offering in December, in an effort to pay off more than $400 million in debt incurred during the Penthouse acquisition. That IPO has yet to happen. But the stock market remains unfriendly to IPOs, and FriendFinder has defaulted on some of its debt, according to a new SEC financing. A tipster tells us the company recently laid off eight marketing staffers in an effort to cut costs. And top executives seem to disagree on whether the company can afford to keep publishing the print edition of Penthouse.

This all took place on the Friday (2/13/2009) show of Opie and Anthony when they had the 2009 Penthouse Pet of the year Taya Parker who is also on the upcoming reality show Rock of Love Bus.  With her was the Penthouse Pet of the Year runner-up Shawna Lenee who also happens to be on the cover of this month’s issue of Penthouse.    Any question they asked, she steered the question not towards her magazine layout but instead towards her acting career, stating she started off in hardcore.  In fact she recently did a movie called I love Shawna (click here to view the trailer).

She talks about is how she has wanted to do porn since she was 12 years old.  She said she knew at that young of an age she wanted to get naked for a living.  That is the age when she first discovered Internet porn and from there she knew that is what she wanted to do for a living.  She said that she loves to look at beautiful naked women.  She then discusses her first scene in porn which she described as a “regular boy / girl” scene.  She later talks about how she did all these “teen” scenes and how she was really sad when she hit 20 because nobody wanted to hire her anymore because technically she was no longer a teen. MAYBE IT WAS NOT BECAUSE OF YOUR AGE BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE MENTALLY UNSTABLE?

She is the one that drives the conversation around her hardcore career and the second they pull up a photo of her that isn’t so flattering, she gets unhinged.  She’s beyond unreasonable.  She wants to be known as a Penthouse Pet only and yet she is the one going into details about her movies, her scenes and having sex.  And again I remind you that just 24 hours ago she was on Howard Stern riding a sex machine, so why is it now she comes unglued when they call her out for being a slut?

You know what I learned from watching all of this?  That clearly someone at Penthouse dropped the ball.  This person makes Penthouse look bad and I lost any respect for that magazine that I might have had left for not implementing a better screening process.  Clearly this girl has had years and years of mental instability and they pick this person of all the other choices to rep them?  Good job Penthouse.


I began to wonder, did Penthouse perhaps make a bad call? Did the girl turn out to be uncooperative, was she just not that interesting so nobody noticed any publicity she was doing? Did they maybe regret not picking Hanna Hilton who would have later gone on to be picked as a Vivid girl and as such is now starring in a reality TV show starting tomorrow? That would have been some great free publicity for them. All of these thoughts at random times where going through my head. That is until now. I think I figured out why the fuck we haven’t been hearing about the Penthouse Pet of the Year for 2009 and that is because she was tucked away on the set of a reality TV series for VH1 and Brett Michaels called the Rock of Love Bus.


And this Sunday she is going to host a screening party along wtih Bret Michaels and the one and only Dr. Victoria Zdrok who herself was a former Playboy Playmate turned Penthouse Pet of the Year.  She is now their resident Doctor of Love, aka Dr. Z.
