Spanish director Pablo Lapiedra on child porn charge

A Spanish court has called for the arrest of film director Pablo Lapiedra after ruling he should be extradited to Colombia on child porn charges.

Police in Colombia began an inquiry after a schoolgirl aged 16 took part in a pornographic video.

The director was detained in March on suspicion of making a pornographic film with minors and falsifying their ages.

He was bailed but failed to turn up for a hearing in Madrid on Tuesday, when he was due to be told of his extradition.

Pablo Lapiedra denies falsifying the girl’s age and says he was unaware she was 16.

The case was brought to the attention of the Colombian authorities when the girl’s schoolteachers in Medellin found out about the film.

Interpol was called in to look into the allegations, which dated back to between December 2007 and January 2008. It issued arrest warrants for Pablo Lapiedra and his wife, who appeared in some of the videos.

They have since divorced.

That’s just what happened to an unidentified photographer who was holding a Girls Gone Wild (GGW) photo shoot yesterday at a private home on Vulcan Drive in the Hollywood Hills—reportedly the site of many non-permitted shoots, both mainstream and adult, but it took the complaints of several neighbors before police responded to conduct what they described as a “film permit investigation,” according to a report on TMZ.com.

While it’s unknown whether GGW owner Joe Francis was present at the “crime scene,” a GGW representative told TMZ that there were about a dozen staffers at the location, and the Los Angeles Times reported that possibly as many as 20 others were also present doing what one complaining neighbor described as “strange activity” in the back yard. The GGW staffer said that the crew was at the home shooting footage for GGW’s “Search for the Hottest Girl in America.”

But according to the police, someone had leased the house from its owner, and was engaged in the business of renting it out to filming crews without bothering to check whether they had shooting permits. And while the raiders issued the GGW rep a ticket for the misdemeanor charge of “commercial filming without a permit,” TMZ reported that its sources inside the police department stated that GGW had not been particularly targeted, but that they were seeking the home’s lessee for questioning, and that the police had been to that same location “multiple times over the last year.”

“It doesn’t matter if you’re Girls Gone Wild or Cecil B. DeMille,” said LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith, “you need a permit to film.”

As adult producers know, it’s common, when police raid a shooting location, for them to seize whatever footage has been shot, but there is no report on that happening in this instance.

And in court Wednesday, a Cook County assistant state’s attorney told the judge that prosecutors have a handwritten note from LaDuke, in which he admits to fantasizing about female students while masturbating in class for the past 10 years.

Paul LaDuke, 75, has been charged with sexual exploitation of a child. LaDuke has been a math teacher at the school for 26 years, and is also an ordained minister.

Bond for LaDuke was set at $40,000 at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse Wednesday morning.

On Friday, a student at Schaumburg Christian School, located at 200 N. Roselle Rd., reported to another teacher that LaDuke appeared to be masturbating while seated at his podium during class.

The teacher notified the school administration, which launched an internal investigation. LaDuke was fired on Friday and, on Monday, school officials contacted Schaumburg police.

“Obviously, she was distressed and upset by what occurred, but we’re very thankful that she brought it forward,” said Schaumburg police Sgt. John Nebel.

Detectives interviewed several students and LaDuke was arrested on Monday.

“Through the course of our investigation, our detectives have come to believe that this has happened several times per year for 10 years or more, possibly,” Nebel said.

Asked if there had been previous complaints that did not result in any action against LaDuke, Nebel said no.

“It’s not that it’s been reported and nothing has been done, it’s just that during the course of the investigation, we’ve come to learn certain information and I can’t go further for the fact that there’s a possibility of more charges before a grand jury,” Nebel said. He made those comments before prosecutors revealed the note from LaDuke.

Police said there is no evidence that LaDuke touched any students in an inappropriate manner or harmed them physically.

Students and parents were stunned, and still want to know more about what happened.

“I understand there’s an issue that he did something he shouldn’t have done, in terms of behind the podium – whether it was adjusting his shirt or whatnot – but I know that the school did what it had needed to do,” said Daniel Csoka, the father of a student at the school. “I mean, just look at Penn State. Look at school after school having situations. But I believe that the officials and the administration did what they needed to do. I’m not concerned about my child.”

School administrator Jim Toth said the school took action as quickly as it could.

“We are shocked. We are saddened by what has transpired over the last few days. As soon as we started to receive information, we reacted as quickly as we possibly could,” Toth said. “We are fully cooperating with Schaumburg Police Department at this time, as they continue their investigation.”

LaDuke taught Algebra I and Honors Geometry to high school freshmen, Honors Algebra II to sophomores, and Algebra II and Trigonometry/Pre-Calculus to juniors and seniors. His name had been removed from the school’s Web site as of Wednesday morning.

If LaDuke is to make bond, he must come up with 10 percent, or $4,000, to get out of jail, and he will not be allowed on school grounds.

A defense attorney tells CBS 2 that LaDuke may have dementia.

Any current or former students or parents with information on the case were being urged to call Schaumburg police at 847-882-3534.

The FSC therefore urges the public to exercise appropriate caution in respect of these entities, whilst it continues its investigations.

Gibraltar’s financial regulatory body, Financial Services Commission (FSC), has issued a warning regarding the ability of Internet Payment Service Provider SegPay to conduct business in or from the British overseas territory, which is located at the entrance to the Mediterranean at the end of the Iberian Peninsula.

The warning, which was issued to the public and posted to the commission’s website, notes that SegPay refers to itself in “Online references” as a Gibraltar company and that its website is “configured in such a way” that it is associated with the word ‘Gibraltar’ even though the word itself does not appear on the website.

“Segregated Payments Limited may therefore be carrying on payment services activities in or from within Gibraltar,” the posting continues. “Segregated Payments Limited is not regulated by the FSC, nor licensed under the Financial Services (EEA) (Payment Services) Regulations 2010, to carry on payment services activities in or from within Gibraltar.”

The FSC said it “urges the public to exercise appropriate caution in respect of these entities” while it continues its investigation.

“We are aware of this posting,” SegPay President and CEO Cathy Beardsley told AVN. “We have operated in Gibraltar since July 2010. We have been working directly with the FSC authorities in Gibraltar and are taking appropriate action to quickly resolve this situation.”

SegPay was recently sued by former partner Emanon over alleged violations of the terms of an agreement the two companies entered into in 2008, as well as an alleged outstanding note owed by SegPay’s parent, Toccata Inc. SegPay released a response to the lawsuit the following day.

 

If you haven’t been keeping up with the story here is a quickie summary for you.  Lupe Fuentes was married to this guy Pablo Lapiedra.

She met and married him when she was like 19 in Spain.  She worked for and then later with him on producing porn.  It would be while she was with Pablo that she would develop and play the girl of the underage porn star Little Lupe.  Despite that fact that she was in fact over 18 at the time, she had a youthful look and with pig tails, tween clothing, very light use of makeup and creative camera angles, they made her look 10 to 12 years of age.

After playing Little Lupe for awhile they had some success and decided to recruit more girls to work the web cams for them in Spain.  This is where the problems started.  The charges are that together Lupe Fuentes and her husband at the time Pablo would troll schools in very poor areas of a 3rd world country and trick little girls to do porn for them.  They would make them work long hours and pay them almost nothing for it.

This did this in Colombia.  Pablo would eventually get arrested in Spain and is now fighting extradition back to Colombia.  If he wins then they have to let him go in Spain and that means as long as he never goes back to Colombia or a place that has a better extradition treaty with Colombia he can never have to even face the charges.  Or perhaps he is fighting it to buy enough time of being jail in the preferred Spain so that when he does finally get forced back to Colombia much of his time will already have been served.  Who knows … but anyway … back in the Lupe timeline.  Eventually Lupe Fuentes would tire of playing the little girl role and in defiance get a boob job, put on makeup and run off to the US, divorcing Pablo somewhere in there in the mean time.

Almost immediately she signed on with Teravision and started doing Evan Seinfeld, who at the time was married to Tera Patrick.  They divorced and Tera took back her company.   She would later go on to say Lupe was never ever ever under contract with HER company, despite the fact that they made a movie, sent out months and months of press releases, etc.  Let’s just say it was an ugly divorce between Tera and Evan and move on.

In the mean time Lupe Fuentes moved on and well up in the world and she started shacking up with the rocker who at this point I’m pretty sure has no actual skin left – it’s all inked up.  Even the back of his neck has a major tattoo.

Anywho, Little Lupe would go on to marry Evan Seinfeld but before the joyous news could be shared with the world news broke that Lupe Fuentes was wanted on charges of child pornography and forgery and Tera Patrick became one the happiest ex-wives ever.  Tera Patrick would then spend her time tweeting about child pornography and how wrong it was.

In the mean time two things happened … first Lupe Fuentes signed as a contract star for Wicked Pictures and released a movie called Lolita, about an under-aged porn star.  Next Evan Seinfeld did an interview where he said that basically Tera was just a bitter, jealous hag that he had a hot young wife now and (not exact words this was really just a paraphrase) and that what he loves most about being with Lupe is how she looks 16.  16 being underage so ya, all of the sudden Evan looked like a child porn pimping perv himself, despite the fact that he had no involvement in any of that mess back in South America.

They would stop tweeting and lay low for months.  During this time all kinds of crazy rumors came about.  Turns out most of them were untrue.  Any stories that did leak out, Evan would call in favors to get them pulled.  Then one day the news broke than Lupe Fuentes is the most wanted woman in Europe and as then we found out she wasn’t really hiding at all.  She’s been in contact with the FBI all this time, they’ve been to her house many times – many many many people have seen her and she is at the residence that is the ID on her driver’s license so it’s not that they don’t know where she is.  So she started doing live cam shows again.  Working almost every day doing live shows.

In an extradition hearing, defense lawyers for Pablo Lapiedra told a Spanish court the director never thought he was committing a crime and had always acted in an “open and transparent manner.”

Investigators in the case have claimed it was Lapiedra himself who provided the girls with false identification documents.

Lapiedra is fighting extradition to Colombia, where he could face 8-12 years in prison, on the grounds that he is a Spanish citizen and therefore exempt under the terms of the two countries extradition treaty.

Prosecutors argued that the case meets the terms of the treaty and Lapiedra should be judged in the country where the alleged crimes took place.  Spanish police arrested the director on in Spain in March this year following an Interpol investigation.  He is accused of using minors in a porn movie filmed in Medellin. Lapiedra’s estranged wife, Lupe Fuentes, is also wanted on charges of child pornography and forgery.

The defendant’s lawyer, Jose Luis Fuertes, defended in an oral hearing Tuesday before the Third Section of the Criminal Division, who never thought they could Lapiedra be committing a crime and stressed that, in fact, “acted an open and transparent “to the point of replacing the pornographic video on his website, where he was identified with all kinds of data.

He stressed further that his client was not involved in the process of falsification of ID presented by the minor, so I never questioned the validity of the decree that was shown.

Strong has shown that the delivery to the Colombian authorities of his client breach the extradition treaty between the two countries since the agreement does not include the extradition of nationals.

He also highlighted that the Court of Instruction No. 5, Barcelona has also launched an investigation into these same facts, has been dismissed on a provisional basis pending the delivery by Colombia, data on the alleged commission of crime.

“My client prefers to be tried in Spain, especially in a case as sensitive as this,” the lawyer stressed.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor of the Audiencia Nacional, Carlos Bautista, has asked the judges of the Third that guarantee the delivery and has defended the validity of the Treaty. In his view the prosecution, there is evidence pointing to the involvement of the principal in the crime of which he is charged.

Lapiedra was arrested on 17 March in the Catalan capital by officers from the Technological Research of the National Police pursuant to a warrant issued by Interpol.

The arrestee is suspected of pedophile videos recorded using children, which changed the age to simulate with false documents that were older, according to the National Police. The agents tracked the recordings in collaboration with the authorities of Colombia, which made the videos, which were sold worldwide through the network.

Colombian authorities are investigating the director since 2008, after the rector of an institute of Medellín filed a complaint because a student appeared in a pornographic video. After following the track of this recording reached Lapiedra and his wife, who works as a porn actress. Then found that both live in Madrid and she appeared in some films.

One of the alleged victims said in his statement recorded movies for hours, from eight o’clock to seven o’clock in the afternoon, we paid 700 euros and assured him that the videos would not be distributed in Colombia.

New Jersey Democrat resigns after nude photos circulated

NEW YORK (Reuters) – After an online sexting scandal brought down Congressman Anthony Weiner, the last thing a politician would even consider is sending a nude self-portrait over the Internet. Apparently not.

Cumberland County freeholder Louis Magazzu, 53, stepped down on Tuesday after nude photos he sent to a woman with whom he had a long online relationship were posted on the website of conservative blogger Carl Johnson, said Magazzu’s lawyer Rocco Cipparone.

“Unfortunately, in my personal life, I did not always demonstrate the wisdom and balance that I expected from myself, and that the people of Cumberland County deserve and have every right to expect,” Magazzu said in a statement.

Magazzu, a Democrat, hired Cipparone to pursue legal action against Johnson, a Republican. He said the images were meant to be seen only by the woman and he was set up.

“A woman who I have never met personally, but have corresponded with on the Internet for several years, has recently shared some photographs which she requested and that were intended only for her eyes,” Magazzu said in the statement.

“I did not know that she was working with an avowed political enemy to distribute these pictures … I have retained counsel to determine what laws may have been broken by the unauthorized distribution of those pictures. No government services or equipment were used by me when taking the pictures or transmitting them to the woman in question.”

The photos appear to show Magazzu standing naked in front of a mirror.

Cipparone said Magazzu, who has been separated from his wife for about two years, sent the photos earlier this year.

“This is not another Anthony Weiner case,” said Cipparone, calling the distribution of Magazzu’s nude images “an invasion of privacy both civilly and criminally.”

Houston is catching on to something that Hollywood hasn’t yet: Taking nude pictures on your cell phone is bad news.

The city is implementing a new rule stating that “the distribution of nude or semi-nude photographs or videos by text message” is forbidden. They are calling the craze “sexting” and the school system is putting their foot down, for the safety of their students, emotionally and legally.

Hans Graff, assistant general counsel at the Houston Independent School district, realizes that while on one end of the spectrum, the release of nude photographs can be emotionally damaging, it can also lead to criminal punishment: “A student may be sending pictures to their boyfriend and they break up and he sends it to everybody…Any pictures of an underage child could potentially be child pornography and we are not really interested in seeing students punished criminally.”

This new rule was put into effect not only because it seemed to be an “issue” within their district, but also an issue affecting the entire nation. A recent study by the National Campaign to Prevent Tee and Unplanned Pregnancy showed that “22 percent of US teenage girls and 18 percent of teenage boys have sent messages or posted images or video online showing them nude or semi-nude. ” Wow. That’s a lot!

Makes unauthorized web streaming of copyrighted content a felony with a possible penalty of up to 5 years in prison. Illegal streaming of copyrighted content is defined in the bill as an offense that “consists of 10 or more public performances by electronic means, during any 180-day period, of 1 or more copyrighted works” and has a total economic value, either to the copyright holder or the infringer, of at least $2,500.

Now keep in mind this is the criminal aspects of the law.  You still are subject to face the copyright holder in civil court which allows them the default judgement of $250,000 per violation.

Rumors are that they are bleeding crazy amounts of cash, as much as 1 million a quarter and are millions in debt and let’s not forget the lawsuits going on about their board of directors.   Recently a Nevada judge has invalidated the latest shareholders’ vote for the board of directors of an international adult media company.  Private Media Group Inc. is now required to hold a new shareholders’ vote in which a debt holder will try to install new directors.  While Private Media Group is based in Barcelona, Spain, its stock is traded on the Nasdaq Stock Market and it’s incorporated in Nevada – meaning it’s subject to Nevada and U.S. corporate laws.

Compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5250(c)(1)

As previously reported, on April 18, 2011 and May 19, 2011, Private Media Group, Inc. (the “Company”) was notified by The NASDAQ Stock Market stating that because the Company failed to file its Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2010, and Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2011, on or before their respective due dates, it was not in compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires that a listed company timely file periodic financial reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a condition to continued listing of its securities.

On June 13, 2011, the Company received a letter from the Staff advising it that based upon the filing of the delinquent Form 10-K and Form 10-Q on June 3, 2011 and June 9, 2011, respectively, the Staff determined that the Company is now in compliance with Rule 5250(c)(1), and therefore the matter is closed.

The Staff further advised the Company that due to the recent non-compliance with Rule 5250(c)(1), discussed above, and the recent non-compliance with Rule 5605(b)(1), previously reported in January 2011, which was cured in February 2011 by the appointment of Bernt Akander as a director, the Company would have until July 5, 2011, to cure the deficiency caused by the resignation of Bernt Akander, rather than the longer cure period which would normally apply under Rule 5605(b)(1)(A).

The Company expects to identify and appoint a new independent director to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Bernt Akander on or before July 5, 2011. If for any reason the Company is unable to comply with Rule 5605(b)(1) by July 5, 2011, the Staff will provide written notification (“Staff Determination”) to the Company that its Common Stock will be delisted. Any such Staff Determination would have no immediate effect on the listing of the Company’s Common Stock. In the event of a Staff Determination, the Company will request a hearing before a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel to review the Staff Determination, and will endeavor to be in compliance with all applicable NASDAQ rules prior to the hearing date.

Over the past few months, a group that calls itself the U.S. Copyright Group has setup two operations to nab people who downloaded illegal copies of Hollywood movies.

First, in February, they brought suit against about 23,000 people who had downloaded the movie The Expendables using the peer-to-peer software BitTorrent. Then, in April, they filed a lawsuit against about 25,000 people who they say downloaded illegal copies of the Academy Award winning film, The Hurt Locker.

This works in a round-about way: U.S. Copyright Group, which was formed by the Washington-based law firm Dunlap, Grubb & Weaver, gives a court a list of IP addresses of users they say have downloaded movies. The court then issues subpoenas to allow the law firm to request the names behind those IP addresses from internet service providers.

Today, the technology news site Ars Technica reports that a judge in The Expendables lawsuit has decided to revoke the subpoenas he granted two months ago. Ars Technica reports:

Two months after Judge Wilkins approved the subpoenas, they have still not been served; upset at this behavior, he has now revoked them. In explaining his decision, the judge said the delay was “especially surprising given the fact that one of Plaintiff’s stated reasons for ‘good cause’ for the expedited discovery was that the ISPs typically retain the information that Plaintiff seeks only for a limited period of time… Plaintiff’s delay in pursuing the discovery they requested on an expedited bases is inexcusable.”

Further, the judge has realized that few of the IP addresses in question are likely to belong to DC residents; the plaintiffs admitted as much in a recent status conference. “The Court finds it inappropriate and a waste of scarce judicial resources to allow and oversee discovery on claims or relating to defendants that cannot be prosecuted in this lawsuit,” said the judge.

So what’s going on here? Why would USCG bring lawsuits and not act on the subpoenas?

CNN Money has a great overview of the cases, today, and they report that USCG usually goes after a few thousand defendants at a time and of those thousands many of them choose to settle out of court:

[Corynne McSherry, intellectual property director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation] and other critics have attacked the USCG for what they say is a “pay up or we’ll getcha” method — that is, pay a relatively small fee to settle or face tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees and potential penalties.

Massachusetts resident Dmitriy Shirokov received one of those demand letters last year, and he promptly filed a lawsuit accusing USCG of making a business out of threatening people. The suit alleged that USCG exploited copyright law — and that its goal was to frighten people into paying up a small settlement of $1,500 to $2,500 rather than face litigation.

ArsTechnica explores that thread a little further, explaining that USCG lawyers said they hadn’t acted on the subpoenas because they were waiting on the court to resolve the issues of venue. The court didn’t agree with that and ArsTechnica spoke to one lawyer who posed another theory: The money, he said, is in going after illegal downloads of pornography:

But the day wouldn’t end happily for Kupps, a name that Polk County deputies say is the porn-video persona of Lake Wales resident Theresa Taylor.

She and her husband, Warren Taylor, were jailed Friday night after a deputy spent three months investigating porn videos the couple made at home and sold online, arrest reports say.

Theresa Taylor was set to be released Saturday night after posting $7,500 bail. Warren Taylor remained jailed.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office began investigating Theresa Taylor, 55, in March after receiving tips that she was making and distributing porn from her home at 926 S. Lakeshore Blvd., her arrest report said.

An investigator paid the initial $19.95 membership fee to her website, kimberlykupps.com, where he found videos of Theresa Taylor having sex with men and women, as well as offering some of the clothes she wore in the videos for sale.

The investigator downloaded six videos, burned them to CDs and allowed County Judge Reinaldo Ojeda to review them. On April 7, Ojeda ruled the videos were obscene material under state law.

The investigator also noted in the arrest report several messages sent by Theresa Taylor through her Twitter account since June. In one, Taylor said she had finished filming a porn video at her home with a “good looking male subject from Italy.”

During questioning, Warren Taylor, 58, said he filmed the videos downloaded by the investigator and uploaded them for sale on the website clips4sale.com. The husband said the couple made an average of $700 monthly for the past four months.

Warren Taylor was booked on six counts each of wholesale promotion of obscene material and distribution of obscene material, a misdemeanor.

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen had his personal assistant cater to the demands of his live-in porn star girlfriend, which included providing her with the morning after pill, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

In a stunning video interview with RadarOnline.com, adult actress Lindsay Wager — whose long-term relationship with the troubled actor was not known until now — revealed Sheen’s staffer Rick Calamaro also supplied his boss with crack pipes.

“He would call Rick for just about anything since he was obviously scared to leave the house,” said brunette Wager, who goes by the porn name of Elizabeth Ann.

“He was paranoid quite often and worried there were maybe helicopters flying around the house or paparazzi outside. He would call upon Rick to go and get all sorts of different pipes for him.”

Wager met Sheen, 45, through a mutual friend and dated him for four months in 2010, she told RadarOnline.com.

During that time, Wager said the scandalous star had Rick, a former Los Angeles nightclub tycoon, at his beck and call for all necessary deliveries, including emergency contraception because she and Sheen did not have safe sex.

“He sent Rick to get the morning after pill maybe three or four times and each time I took it right when I got it,” she said.

“Charlie knew that I was not on any kind of birth control, so and I didn’t want to have children either so he called upon Rick to get get the morning after pill a few times when it was necessary.

“I did take them each time, of course.”

As RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed, Sheen spent more than $500,000 on hookers and drugs in the six months before he checked into his latest rehab stint, at-home.

Wager, who has starred in such films as Girls Next Door, said Sheen would always smoke cocaine.

“He (Charlie) used, I’m not sure if it’s a crack pipe or just some kind of bong for freebasing cocaine, I guess,” she said.

“I’m not very familiar with it so I’m not sure exactly what you call it, but he would regularly have his assistant Rick go and pick up different Kind of pipes for him to smoke the cocaine.”

Wager added: “I never saw him snort anything, but almost every time I saw him he was smoking cocaine until he would pass out.”

Calamaro previously faced criticism that he was a bad influence on the troubled star and was with him when he trashed a room at The Plaza Hotel in New York, during a booze and cocaine binge in October last year.

The embattled assistant refused to comment on Tuesday when questioned about Wager’s allegation, but previously told RadarOnline.com: “I don’t care about the media. I just care about my boy Charlie… I love him!”

Despite providing us a rare insight into Sheen’s life, Wager defended the actor and Calamaro and said the latter “never sat down and partied.”

“He just ran a lot of personal errands for Charlie and he seems to be a very good friend of his,” she said.

“I’m not sure if you’d call him an enabler.”

The former Fort Myers Beach town manager, fired after it was discovered his wife made pornographic films, has applied for the Bonita Springs city manager position.

William Scott Janke was Fort Myers Beach manager in July 2009 when his wife, Anabela Mota Janke, was found to be a porn actress named Jazella Moore. He was fired that same month.

He’s one of the roughly 60 applicants for the Bonita Springs city manager position, and according to deputy city clerk of human resources, Meg Weiss, he has met the initial requirements for the job.

According to the job positing, candidates must have a bachelors degree in business administration, public administration, public policy or related field from an accredited college or university. They also must have 10 years of increasingly responsible experience as a senior level executive with a minimum of five years in the public sector. Also, it helps if they have previous public sector experience in Florida and a master’s degree in public administration.

Janke is now living in Tarpon Springs, and hasn’t held a public position since, his resume shows.

Janke said since his termination from the Fort Myers Beach Town Manager position, he and his wife are separated and he has spent his time looking for a job.

“I’m persevering, pushing along and hoping to get my talents into a city manager position,” he said. “I’m looking to get back into my career because I’m good at what I do.”

Janke also said that he’s not concerned about coming back to the Southwest Florida area.

“Not a bit, doesn’t enter my mind…did I do something wrong? No,” he said.

He also said since his firing in 2009, he has received thousands of e-mails from people in the town completely supporting him.

“(Residents) said the town council did something completely wrong and the taxpayers supported me,” he said. “I don’t feel bad about it at all.”

Meg Weiss, Bonita Springs deputy city clerk for human resources, is responsible for narrowing the qualified candidates and once the Feb. 28 deadline hits, City Council will continue the process.

“So far”, she said, “out of the roughly 60 resumes, 10 do not meet the minimum requirements.”

Weiss plans to ask council at the Feb. 16 meeting for direction on how to proceed. If council will review the applications, as planned, or will ask for further assistance from human resources because of the amount.

Weiss said she is expecting to receive 100 resumes by the deadline.

Jesse James’ ex-wife Janine Lindemulder has been busted in Texas and RadarOnline.com has her smirky mug shot. The former porn star who had a child with the tattooed motorcycle king before he wed Sandra Bullock, has been arrested for allegedly harassing Jesse.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Department made the arrest just outside of Austin Saturday morning.

“I can confirm that Janine Lindemulder has been arrested,” Deputy Laurie Bain told RadarOnline.com exclusively.  “We are still in the process of booking her.”

Jesse and Janine are locked in a bitter custody battle over their daughter Sunny, 7.  They have shared custody but the girl lives with her father at his new home in Austin, while Janine only has visitation.

Jesse had complained to the Austin Police Department that Janine was bombarding him with around-the clock harassing phone messages, and her arrest fell under the jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Department.

In a statement to RadarOnline.com, the Hays County Sheriff’s Department said, “Janine Marie James, age 41, was arrested by Hays County Sheriff’s Deputies at 0900 hours on three outstanding Class B Harassment warrants.  Janine Marie James was taken to the Hays County Jail where she was booked.  No bonds have been set at this time.”
