Joe Francis Going Back To The Slammer

Feds: Lock Up Girls Gone Wild‘s Joe Francis Now!

eOnline is reporting that Jo Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame may be headed back behind bars.

If the feds get their way, Joe Francis isn’t going to be Wild much longer.

Prosecutors are asking a federal judge in Los Angeles to rescind the Girls Gone Wild overlord’s bail after being MIA for a hearing.

Francis, 35, turned up five hours late to a Feb. 2 court date in a tax-dodging case. He was taken into custody and spent the night in the clink, but was allowed to serve house arrest after explaining his tardiness resulted from a “miscommunication” and a nasty case of the flu.

But in a motion filed Monday, prosecutors say Francis should be locked up until his March 31 trial because of a “complete lack of respect” to the court and its ruling by issuing his own statement after his release.

Francis has pleaded not guilty to two felony tax-evasion charges. If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

No comment yet from Team Francis.  He and his attorney are scheduled to be in court Wednesday.

Ashley Dupre vs Joe Francis

Hello everyone out there in cyberspace.  My name is Lacey Love and I’ll be typing up stories for my sister and myself as a Luke Ford celebrity blogger.  I don’t really know why we are called that.  I’m not much of a celebrity but I guess that’s besides the point.  As far as my postings go, I’m more into the computer stuff than my sisters is so although she’ll be helping me with ideas, it will be mostly me typing it all up and submitting it to the website.  When we were invited to blog on the Luke Ford website we weren’t really sure what we should say.  Ryan suggested that we post stories just as if we were talking to each other.  I can’t imagine anyone being all that interested in the silly things that my sister and I go on about each day but he insists otherwise.  Today Lyndsey and I were talking about this story we seen on TMZ about Joe Francis from Girls Gone Wild and this hooker who was suing him.

I don’t know if anyone is really keeping up with this kind of thing like we do, but basically Ashley Dupre is a high priced call girl who got caught up in a political scandal when it was revealed that one of her clients was none other than the governor of New York.  That in itself would be a big deal but it was even more so because he was big into this task force to put a stop to prostitution in New York and then it got even more blown up because she’s really a beatiful girl who just so happened to be partying one night when she was 17, with a fake ID and had some fun with the Girls Gone Wild cameras.

When the story about the governor and the call girl broke Joe Francis had just gotten out of jail and sitting in front of his computer typed in her name to see if by any odd chance he happened to have footage of her, since he had footage of tens of thousands of girls and sure enough he did.  He posted those images on his website but they were quickly removed as soon after Ashley Dupre filed a $10 million suit against Joe Francis and Girls Gone Wild for their attempt to exploit Dupré’s name and image.  She was often quoted in retards to the interview saying that Girls Gone Wild was trying to harm her image.

I know, confusing story, huh?  Well I agree but still very interesting nonetheless.  So a few months later Ashley Dupre dropped her lawsuit and Joe Francis decides he would rather not take the high road about it.  He goes on record as saying “I mean come on guys, of course she dropped it.  A hooker!  She’s a hooker!”.  Just before that he had also told TMZ that

“The filing of the lawsuit was a serious lapse of judgment on her part. I never did understand how I could possibly damage the reputation of a hooker … This isn’t the first time I’ve faced false allegations against me. But the truth invariably comes out, as I knew it would in this case. I am happy to, once again, be completely vindicated.”

Okay so now that we have all the back story out of the way I want to say that although I agree the lawsuit was bogus and we think she made the right choice in dropping the lawsuit since she gave him a fake it and literally went on camera saying she was of legal age and gives her consent, he shouldn’t have to pay her anything.  It was her choice to party with the girls gone wild people and it was her choice to use a fake id and lie about everything.  I think that if she would have went through with the lawsuit she would have lost anything.

But what I don’t agree with his the way that Joe Francis handled it either.

He makes his making from these videos and has built a multi-million dollar empire on the backs of these girls so to turn on them and say bad things about them just isn’t cool.  If it were not for girls like this “hooker” then where would he be?  These girls expose themselves for his cameras and it’s wrong that he is is talking about them in the way that he does.

He is the front man for a multi-million dollar corporation.  He should act a little more discreet and mature when it comes to these kind of legal matters.

He expects people to have sympathy for him in his legal woes but he doesn’t seem to have any for anyone else and this case actually has a lot to do with his other legal troubles.  I was reading previously that he had gotten himself in some trouble, including some issues of underage girls lying about their age.

I was looking at my sister’s ID on the way to the set of one of the movies we were filming two weeks ago and I realized how much the photo doesn’t look like either of us, keeping in mind that we are identical twins.

The pictures from our ID were taken 4 years ago.  We don’t even have the same color hair as we did when we took those pictures.  So how can you really know that a person is who they say they are when photo id’s in the form that they are now aren’t all that reliable?

I think about being on the set of a movie and all of those girls who are having over their IDs and how many of them do that each and every day.  There are hundreds of movie studios and probably tens of thousands of porn stars and out of all of those no doubt some one of them are fake.  I even recently heard a story about a rather famous porn star under contract with one of the top movie studios using a fake id, not because she was under age but I think because she was a little older and didn’t want people to know her real age but either way it’s still a fake id and still just as illegal.

So with all of this technology, why have we not come up with a better means of identification?

And when people lie and present false identification, why is it the fault of the person they lied to?  That I don’t understand at all.  Why is Joe Francis at fault because someone gave him a fake ID?  How was he to know it was fake?  The whole thing is just not right.  What do you think?

Ooops! Someone forgot to pay their bills

The Las Vegas Journal is reporting that Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame has yet another lawsuit to deal with, only this time it’s not for underage girls or from naked whores.  This lawsuit is from  the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas for an amazing $2 million in unpaid gambling debts, some of which dates back to February of 2007.

A representative from the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas has declined to comment while a spokesman for Joe Francis says, “As far as Mr. Francis is concerned, his obligations to the Wynn hotel have been fully lived up to per prior agreements.”

Wynn says that he spotted Joe a total of $2.8 mil, but has only seen $800k of that.   I guess we’ll have to see how this one turns out.  Joe Francis is currently free on bail pending his trial on tax evasion charges in Reno.  A trial date has not been set.  But with all these legal messes going on the one thing you can bet is that his lawyers must be happier than hell.

Joe Francis gets sued… again and again

Four girls in Florida have sued Joe Francis, claiming they were 17, 16, 15, and 13 when his company “enticed them” into participating in his Girls Gone Wild video series.

I wrote a news post about Hustler being sued by Catherine Bosley because they posted nude photos of her when she got drunk and stupid and naked in a night club on vacation one year. And my main point was if I get drunk and whip out my cock, can I get a picture of it taken and published so I can sue for millions too? People have to start taking responsibility for their actions. It all started with that damn woman spilling her McDonald’s coffee. It bewilders me that our legal system is still allowing for people to be fucking retards and then, by their own admittance of being fucking idiots, gain millions from a company who didn’t have a “DON’T DO SOMETHING INCREDIBLY FUCKING STUPID WITH OUR PRODUCT” sticker plastered all over it.

I’m in no way supporting child pornography here, but I refuse to believe that only until you turn 18 are you a fragile-minded child who can easily be tricked with lollipops into doing anything. Yes, it is Joe Francis’ responsibility to check the age of these girls before-hand just as it is every other porn company’s. On the other hand, some of these girls lied and provided fake documents to get on his tapes and then come back and sue him for “damages?” What damage besides the fact that you thought it would be funny to flash your tits for the world to see until your Dad came in angry that he was whacking off when all of a sudden he saw his daughter on the tape?

For the record, as this is a new lawsuit, I don’t know if any of these four provided fake documents. I do know that they aren’t innocent little children though. Again, I’m no pedophile and I don’t support it one bit, but if a 15 year old can be tried as an adult for shooting his Dad over taking his internet access away so he couldn’t get on MySpace any longer, then a 15 year old should be able to be tried as an adult for being too stupid to not keep her clothes on and, in previous cases, I think he should have counter-sued on the girls who provided the fake documents to him saying they were at least 18. There is just no magical barrier that once you turn 18, you suddenly have your mind altered into being able to make all adult decisions, and previous to that age you are able to be considered just as equal as if you were a 5 year old. Because that is in essence what these teens are claiming.

Shame on Joe Francis for not fulfilling his obligation to follow the law and not checking their age if that is actually the case, and I will sadly agree with the lawsuit if that is the case because he sure as shit should have known better, but I also sure as hell know when I was even 13 I knew not to go out in public and show my dick off in front of a camera, especially not one parading around saying they would show it to anyone willing to buy it as they spam Comedy Central every night with their goddamn steel drum music commercials.

In fact, Joe Francis should be sued for continuing to use those steel drums as the background music for his commercials for over 5 years. Just like the people who whistle about how happy what’s-his-name is since he started taking a penis pill for natural male enhancement and apparently every woman he comes in contact with knows he has a huge johnson now. Fuck him too.

Joe Francis released from the pokey

I know I’m a little late on this one, but the redesign of LukeFord.com and other stories took a little bit of precedence. Joe Francis, founder of Girls Gone Wild, is finally free at last submitting a plea of no contest to charges of videotaping underaged girls and was sentenced to time-served. He also got his ferarri and $60,000 returned to him, with the stipulation that he cannot shoot footage for his movies in the region for the next three years.

I for one say score 1 for the adult industry with his release. Joe Francis’ incarceration has been bullshit from the start and what he went through is ridiculous. Its good that he was allowed to plead no contest just to end all the crap, but seriously, if two girls fake their age and documents, how can he be held accountable? Is Joe Francis supposedly a psychic and knew they were underage?

It’s just flat out ridiculous that he got nailed for that in the first place. I mean if a girl says I am 18, shows you two forms of ID, signs a release, and you have video of her holding that ID, while signing the release stating I hereby swear I’m over 18, what the hell are you supposed to do? How are you to know that the little bitch was using a fake ID? I think the part of the law that requires we are still responsible if the girl lies, is just bullshit.
