The month is followed up with the stunning Maxim Cover and Feature story on Sunny.

“I love Maxim as it allows me to push the limit in a mainstream Magazine while wearing sexy designer clothing, says Sunny”.

Meet the Millionaire Porn Star

Industry news site AVN is reporting huge news today about our Sunny Leone.  It seems she just nailed a major 3 picture movie deal that will guarantee her a payday of at least $1.3 million.  And all of this from a country who has some of the strictest anti-porn laws out there.

I am so happy for Sunny Leone.  She’s an amazingly sweet girl.  I really do love her to death.  She has an amazing personality and the few times I’ve had the pleasure of working with her it’s been a true delight.  I’m glad to hear of her success and hope it is only the beginning.  So basically I just wanted to say congrats Sunny Leone … the millionaire porn star!!

AVN:  Crossover star Sunny Leone continues to log more work in Bollywood, which not only has embraced her as a bona fide star but now apparently believes she is one of its hottest emerging commodities. Two recent power moves by the stunning adult performer make the point.

Just this weekend word on the street was that Leone would be taking over the role of Nana Patekar in the upcoming Welcome 2, replacing Mallika Sherawat, who originated the part in the prequel. But that’s just the first piece of Leone news. It was also reported that the former Vivid Girl and Bigg Boss 5 contestant has inked a three-film deal with producer Parag Sanghvi (last film, 24/7) for a whopping amount of Rs 5 crore.”

According to our currency translator, Rs 5 crore amounts to a smidgen over $1,300,000, an amount characterizes as “obscene,” as in obscenely high. It’s an odd characterization considering that one male member of the “Bollywood fraternity” was paid a Rs 60 crore for one film in 2012, making him the top-paid Bollywood actor for the year. Leone did not even make the 2012 top ten list, which has two actresses on it. She is certainly headed in the right direction, but labeling this latest deal “obscene” begs the question, “Why?” also referred to her alleged remuneration as a “whopping amount,” but quoted Sanghvi as declining to confirm any details except that the three-movie deal exists and that the first project is to begin production this summer.

“It’s too early to reveal any details,” he said. “We start shooting after three months and we are still in finalizing stages. The first film will be on the lines of a thriller, is all I can say at this point.”

He also refuted rumors that the deal included a clause prohibiting Leone from taking any other projects until after the three movies are completed.

Leone’s good fortune in India is in stark contrast to other escalating rumblings over the issue of access to online porn. Last week, according to, “The Supreme Court of India … asked the government to respond to a public interest litigation (PIL) petition that seeks to ban online pornography.

“The petition comes in the wake of a brutal gang-rape of a five-year-old girl in the city of Delhi and the gang-rape and murder of a 23-year-old student on a city bus,” the article continued.

Leone herself was “dragged” into the national debate last week during an appearance on the Headlines Today news channel.

“Pornography is not for people who think it’s for real. It’s fantasy and it’s entertainment,” she said, adding, “It’s complete nonsense to blame rape on adult material out there. Education starts at home. It’s mums and dads sitting with their children and teaching them what is right and wrong.”

New Sunny Leone “JISM 2” Video Out

I think most people know by now that Sunny Leone was cast as the lead character in a major Bollywood film … the title of course being JISM 2.  So what is this movies plot?

“A porn star is hired by a dashing intelligence officer to become a ‘Honey-trap’ for a dreaded assassin. In doing so, she not only has to confront her bitter-sweet past, but is also forced to make an impossible choice – one that will put her own life in double jeopardy.”

Two different official music videos have been released so far and can be found on YouTube HERE (for the first) and HERE (for the newest).

India set to block .xxx

In what is probably a shock to nobody, India it seems will be the first of what will no doubt be many Countries to block an entire top-level domain name.  It was actually one of the arguments against approving .xxx and is now holding to be true with India primed and ready to block access to any and all domains that end in .xxx in their country.   Not to overstate the obvious here but what good is a domain name if nobody can visit it?  I guess we can put this in the I TOLD YOU SO file?

India is set to block the Internet’s newly-formed, highly controversial cyber “red-light district” after a global agency governing the web approved .xxx suffix for pornographic websites last week, a senior government official said.

A few days ago, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved the .xxx suffix for pornography websites. In response, a senior official at the ministry of IT stated that “India, along with many other countries from the Middle East and Indonesia, opposed the grant of the domain in the first place, and we would proceed to block the whole domain, as it goes against the IT Act and Indian laws.”

Under the Indian Penal Code, while distribution of adult content is illegal, watching such content is still permitted. Vivek Sood, cyber lawyer and author of ‘The Fundamental Right to the Internet’ sees the move ineffective because the same content can be hosted in other domains like .com and .in. Although other websites of the same nature continue to provide access under different domains, the ministry vows to be keen in reviewing those sites on a case to case basis. On the other hand, Internet activists and cyber law experts believe that the new suffix in fact would enable better policing by parents and employers.

The new top-level domain has already registered about 250,000 domains in anticipation, even before the approval came this month. The domain names are likely to be available in Q2 of 2011.
