Marketing on MySpace and other social networking sites has become commonplace. The smart porn starlet knows that a good MySpace profile page can help her connect with her fans and improve attendance at any upcoming venue and the sales of her latest movie.


But some stars are busy. Some stars create a myspace page and then pay someone to keep up with it for them.


Typically this job would mean approving new friend requests, deleting spam comments and posting bulletins under the star’s name when she has something specific going on in her life like a new movie coming out.


Sounds easy enough, right?


Well it seems some stars made a bad decision in their hiring practices and aren’t really staying on top of these people because these companies are using the porn star’s myspace account to be all out spammers and in return leaving a bad taste in the mouth of their dedicated fans — not just because these people are using the porn star’s account to spam but also because they are making these posts pretending to be the star in question.

These three are the most spamingest myspace whores there are. But truth is, these three porn stars probably don’t log on to their myspace account more than once a year themselves. What they are actually guilty of is making a bad decision in the company they hire to babysit their myspace pages.


Now I know I’ve discussed this before but since then it’s gotten only worse so I’ve decided taht another post was clearly in order. I am going to show you how bad this is. Now keep in mind I’m not showing any of the actual news being posted. These are just the spams.

What it comes down to is that twice a day, at the very least every single day someone is logging onto these star’s myspace pages and posting these spam ass messages to their fans. Apparently this comany thinks the fans are so stupid they don’t know it’s just spam nor do they have enough respect for them not do to this. I am sure they want to keep up with what’s going on with the star but with so many junk messages being posted, when REAL news comes out, it’s mostly just ignored.

What the fuck is wrong with you?   These are your fans you are defrauding and annoying.


What exactly do you think you are getting out of this relationship?  You are a famous porn star.  Why are you letting them use your name to help other whores get more myspace friends?  What the fuck is in it for you?  You are the famous one.  The only thing you are getting out of this is a reputation for fraud from your fans.


If you think your fans don’t care let me quote one of them for you.  It’s actually why I brought the subject back up because someone else mentioned it to me.


I love Tera Patrick.  I want to keep up with all that she has going on but fuck, I’m so sick of the ADD MY FRIEND messages.  That’s all you ever get from her myspace page.  It’s so much fucking spam from her I am just going to delete her as a friend.  I can get all the spam I need in my email.  I don’t want it from porn star’s on myspace.  What the fuck is a muscle barbie anyway?  And why now 23 times does she need to post about me adding her as a friend.  If I didn’t want to add her as a friend the first 22 times she posted about it, why would I the 23rd time??  Fuck that shit!


I assumed the guy was joking about the same message being posted some 20 odd times by “Tera Patrick” but apparently not. And I don’t have any clue what a muscle barbie is either.   I think I’ll stick with girls like Briana Banks who seem to respect and appreciate their fans. Briana Banks uses her myspace page to update her fans about appearances and magazine layouts she is going to be in and do other crazy things like send personal birthday wishes to her fans.

It seems the new Fame Registry list is out for this month’s top porn stars. I didn’t see any major shockers there but a few little quirks do have me curious. Let’s start towards the top of the list.  Obvious winners are Tera Patrick, Jenna Haze and Briana Banks.  No big shockers there.



Somehow Taylor Rain who hasn’t really been active in quite some time inched out Jesse Jane for the #4 spot, despite the fact that Jesse Jane has a new movie out, and not just any more either. Pirates II is a mega hit so I’m quite surprised to see her drop a spot while Taylor Rain who has done nothing lately goes up.



Mary Carey as #6? Really? How is that even possible that anyone in their right mind would search for her name on the Internet? It has to be that dumb ass VH1 rehab show.  The only other major change was with Vivid Girl Sunny Leone who had a sharp rise from last month to now going from #15 to #9 and Amy Reid who went from #23 to #14 this month.  A very impressive jump for both girls.

Fame Registry tracks to date 132 porn stars and ranks them based on their populairty, which is based on things like how many awards they have won from AVN, XRCO and F.A.M.E., how many times per day someone uses a search engine to search for the porn stars name, how much traffic their official  website gets, and things of that nature.   The scores are updated once or twice each month and a new list of “top stars” is formed each month.  It’s a pretty nifty reference if nothing else to see who’s hot and who’s not.

In 1989 a little known movie came out that featured Barbara Dare, Tori Welles, April West, Summer Rose, Fallon,  Christie Leigh and Tori Welles.  This was one of Tori Welles’s first ever adult movies.   The movie was directed by Paul Thomas but it was back in a time when the name Paul Thomas wasn’t so well known and didn’t come attached to so many industry awards.  It was 1989 after all.


The movie itself didn’t go over so well with the critics.  In fact, AVN only gave it 3 out of 5 stars.   Yet that next year it still won the AVN award for the Best All-Girl Feature.  It was really the first time anyone had done a high quality feature film dedicated only to lesbians that also included several well known stars all in one film.  It was sort of new ground.  This movie was called

Fast forward 19 years.  It’s now 2008 and we now have the release of Where The Boys Aren’t 19.  The movie series is still winning awards, it’s still a best selling title and it still features big named stars.   Paul Thomas directed most of the Where The Boys Aren’t titles, but not all.  Recently Chi Chi La Rue has been heading up the Where The Boys Aren’t project but he isn’t slacking when it comes to talent.  In fact, the last Where The Boys Aren’t title (Where The Boys Aren’t 18), in which Chi Chi La Rue directed, was a huge hit.  Industry award nominations aside, the movie stayed at the top of the sales charts for more than a year.   Considering how many great movies came out last year, that is really saying a lot.

But a new year is upon us and that means it is now time for a new Where The Boys Aren’t …. 19 this time and this one is in the theme of the middle east.  Set with an Arabian Nights setting, how can it now be an erotic adventure you won’t soon forget?

How Bad Must it Suck to be Tera Patrick right now?

I was reading the Wikipedia entry for Tera Patrick when I seen this ….

In 2003, Tera Patrick became the masthead publisher of Genesis magazine, a popular men’s magazine which subtitles itself, “The Home of Porn’s Hottest Stars.” Since she has signed the contract with Genesis, Patrick has graced the cover of seven issues of the publication.

So how bad must it suck to be pushed aside as #2 to Stormy Daniels in the new Genesis Hot 100 porn stars list when you are the masthead publisher? I don’t know … but it’s got to sting a little considering the fact that Tera Patrick has worked her ass off for the past few years to get the title of Queen of Porn from Jenna Jameson, only to be pushed aside so easily by a magazine she is so closely associated with.


So it got me thinking about the whole situation and actual data. Who REALLY is hot shit right now? I mean we can speculate all we want but what about the cold hard facts? I decided to go with the only real hardcore data that is available to us through the wonderous powers of the all mighty Internet.


I will not dispute the fact that both Tera Patrick and Stormy Daniels are hot as fuck and both have a very large fan base. But what I want to know is exactly who is more popular than the other? I conduct this research using only publicly found data from the Internet. In my report I am also including Briana Banks. I happen to know she’s far, far more popular than the Genesis hot 100 report reflects and I am going to use this data to prove that too!

Alexa Traffic Reports


The first data available to us is traffic ranking reports from Alexa.com. Now any expert will tell you that this data isn’t really THAT accurate but it’s really the best tool we have that is publically available for ranking traffic for websites. But again I do want to be completely fair and state that the data found on Alexa isn’t meant to be 100% accurate, just show you a basic idea of the average traffic a website may get.

  • TeraPatrick.com has an Alexa traffic rank of 28.087
  • Brianabanks.com has an Alexa traffic rank of 101.643
  • StormyDaniels.com has an Alexa traffic rank of 674,758

This means that according to the Alexa ranking system, StormyDaniels.com gets less than 2,000 unique visitors a day where as TeraPatrick.com is getting over 20,000. This data may or may not be real accurate so let us move on.

Domain name experts (or domainers for short) are making a killing in the virtual real estate market. They buy domain names for low prices and resell them for more. It’s a unique combination of the real estate and stock market, all done in a virtual world of the dot com market.

These people make it their business to know the value of a domain name based on certain factors. One of these key factors is the value of keywords that make up a domain name such as “Tera Patrick”. This is a name of a porn star to me and you but to these guys it’s a keyword that put together with a .com, becomes on very valuable domain. It’s valuable because these guys know how many times people search for the keywords “Tera Patrick” in any given day, month or year.

Google Term Frequency

There are three based tools used for this. The first is called Google Term Frequency. This basically means how many times the keywords appear in Google.

  • The Google Term Frequency for Stormy Daniels is 80,400
  • The Google Term Frequency for Tera Patrick is 3,460,000
  • The Google Term Frequency for Briana Banks is 4,830,000

So using Google Term Frequency alone, Briana Banks would be more popular than Tera Patrick and there isn’t even any competition with Stormy Daniels …. she’s so low on the chart it’s not even funny. In gamer terms, Stormy Daniels would be a “noob”.

Overture Ratings – OVT

Next we have what is call the OVT or Overture rating. This is a basic judge of how many times per month people search for the keywords. In this case our keywords are Tera Patrick, Stormy Daniels and Briana Banks.

  • Briana Banks has an OVT Rating of 179,713
  • Tera Patrick has an OVT rating of 212,520
  • Stormy Daniels has an OVT rating of 8,488

Using this method Tera Patrick is on top, with Briana Banks in a close second and Stormy Daniels again off in nowhere land. To be honest with you, when I started this report, I expected Stormy Daniels to be really high on the list, not off in an extremely distant third place. I knew Tera Patrick would rank higher but I truly had no idea Stormy Daniels would prove to be quite so unpopular with the Internet folks.

Wordtracker

Next we looked at WordTracker. Wordtracker periodically compiles a database of over 330 million search terms which is updated on a weekly basis. All search terms are collected from the major metacrawlers – Dogpile and Metacrawler. In short, it tells us how many times per day someone searches for a specified keyword.

  • Briana Banks 9,222
  • Stormy Daniels 4,310
  • Tera Patrick 14,015


Every week this data is updated. So it’s accurate as of a week ago! So we aren’t talking data that isn’t relevant. This kind of report shows very clearly that as of right now Stormy Daniels may be more popular than Lanny Barby but she’s nowhere near the popularity of stars like Tera Patrick or Briana Banks or even Tory Lane for that matter. In fact, Stormy Daniels isn’t as popular as her fellow contract girl Jesse Jane according to the most updated Wordtracker report.

But let us keep going. Surely there is something out there that will back up the claims of others that Stormy Daniels is the best. Next I performed an automated valuation of their domain names. The value of their domain names were calcualted used a complicated and confidential method that uses a variety of data to come up with a figure of a round about value of their domain name.


It is a computerized system so it doesn’t realize that Tera Patrick is a popular porn star … it just knows the data that is stored on the keyword phrase Tera Patrick so in reality these domain names would be worth MUCH MUCH MUCH more. But using this system it basically takes how many times the keywords appear in google, how many poeple link to these pages, the page rank of a domain, the alexa rank, how many estimated uniue visitors per day each website gets, if you were to purchase these keywords using pay per click, how much each of those would cost you (per click), your OVT rating and your Wordtracker estimated searches per day. Using this data they get an estimate for each girl.

  • TeraPatrick.com is thought to be worth $500,000
  • BrianaBanks.com is thought to be worth $390,000
  • StormyDaniels.com is thought to be worth $130,000


So there we have it. Stormy Daniels may be super sexy and get some 2 second spots in some real movies but it doesn’t translate into the popularity that others are trying to make it to be. As much as I hate to say it, Tera Patrick has everyone beat when it comes to down right porn star fame.

The Hot 100 Porn Stars

Just as Forbe’s magazine each year ranks CEOs and Celebrities, Genesis Magazine ranks the hottest 100 porn stars. This is the 10th year they’ve produce such a list and this year is no different.


The Top 100 Porn Stars


Looking at the list this year a few things stand out ….. Tera Patrick clearly needs to step it up in the “real world” because despite the fact that her movies sell better and she’s a more popular PORN star, she was picked only as number two in favor of Stormy Daniels who works more in the mainstream including movies like Superbad, Knocked Up and on TV shows like Dirt, The Tonight Show and ABC’s Nightline. Apparently being the best porn star doesn’t have as much to do with being an actual porn star as it does getting your face on TMZ.com. Silly Tera Patrick, she should have known that!

With a talent pool as large as there has ever been in the adult industry, Wicked Pictures contract star and director Stormy Daniels was chosen as the top star of the past year. “Stormy’s career in front of the cameras and behind them was simply amazing,” said Dan Davis, Editor-in-Chief of GENESIS. “Operation Desert Stormy was just one of her hits this year, and let’s not forget the other movies she wrote, directed and appeared in, her acclaimed feature dance appearances and her appearances in tv shows, movies and music videos.”


Stormy also directed the all-girl hit The Predator, starred in Black Widow, and has also appeared in in the best-selling DVDs for Superbad and Knocked Up, as well on the TV shows “Dirt,” “The Tonight Show” and ABC’s “Nightline” and in the music video for Maroon 5’s hit, “Wake Up Call.” The Wicked Pictures epic Operation Desert Stormy, which she wrote, directed and starred in, was recently named the “Best Sex Comedy” at the 2008 AVN Awards, and the show also saw Stormy winning the Jenna Jameson Crossover Star of the Year award.


Other interesting things about the list is how low Internet favorites like Briana Banks and Lanny Barby are. I’m not sure what the criteria was to make up the list but top sales and Internet searches clearly wasn’t one of them or someone like Briana Banks wouldn’t have been below starlets like Hillary Scott, Gina Lynn, Carmen Luvana, Rebecca Linares, Anette Schwarz and Gianna Michaels. I’m not saying these girls aren’t pretty or don’t have talent but let’s be real … when it comes to sales figures and dollar signs they don’t quite beat Briana Banks or Lanny Barby.


I will say this though, it was great to see the last name on the list was Jenna Jameson. Jenna Jameson’s appearance on the very end of the list is a big slap in the face. I mean someone needed to say it and I’m glad that Genesis Magazine finally did. Jenna Jameson was huge in her time but her bitch attitude and fuck you to the industry that made her the money she now enjoys is just to much for me. She became rich in this business and now she’s to fucking good for it? I guess that’s a rant for another day.

I know that he’s been hanging out with Tera Patrick an unusual amount but it turns out it may not be Tera Patrick that he’s got a secret thing going on with. Two weeks ago he was spotted by an industry insider, a lesser named porn star who wishes us not to reveal her identity in fear of reprisal from Vivid with whom she desires to continue working with, but anyway, this little starlet tells us ….

Last week I seen Sunny Leone with Dave Navarro at this restaurants near where I just got finished shooting. They were so fucking high. It was crazy. They couldn’t keep their hands off each other. I don’t really keep up with who’s fucking who in celebrity circles but I admit I was quite surprised to see Sunny Leone with Dave Navarro. They just don’t seem on the surface like they would be a likely couple but I guess so. Well even if they aren’t together like that, they were sure fucking liking being together that day.


Then I see this little article over at AVN in which is tells how Tera Patrick is set to direct this new Vivid movie featuring all six Vivid girls; Briana Banks, Savanna Samson, Meggan Mallone, Hanna Hilton, Sunny Leone, Monique Alexander. The article says very clearly that Tera Patrick is the director (and co-starring in the movie) and has no mention of Dave Navarro working on the project. So what would a world famous rocker be doing spending his free time hanging out on the set of a movie he has nothing to do with? Sure it could be as AVN reported that he wanted to hang out with his friend Tera Patrick. Or could it be there is some truth to the rumors that he has a secret, yet very hot and heavy thing with Vivid Girl Sunny Leone?

I was looking at a picture of Briana Banks from her movie Aftermath and I realized how much she really is like Jenna Jameson. Briana Banks first came into my radar with her movie, which oddly enough co-starred Jenna Jameson called Briana Loves Jenna. However at the time I didn’t notice how much they are really alike. But I want you to take a closer look. First we have a picture of Jenna Jameson from the 2008 Adult Entertainment Expo which she showed up to give her infamous fuck you adult industry speech at the AVN Awards.

Now here is the picture of Briana Banks from her movie Aftermath. I think you should compare their legs. It’s fucking scary how skinny both of these bitches really are.

Let’s compare what the two girls have in common. Both are blonde with large, enhanced breasts. Both have done mainstream projects. Jenna Jameson’s face is always in the news lately and Briana Banks used to be a model. I think I read once that she was on the cover of Teen Magazine once. Both have ex husbands from the industry that they’ve worked with extensively for years; Jenna Jameson with Jay Grdina and Briana Banks with Bobby Vitale.

Unlike Tera Patrick who works hard at being famous, neither Jenna Jameson or Briana Banks really put forth much effort on their own to PUSH being famous. They both had a few lucky breaks and work hard but they don’t shove their names down your throat every fucking two seconds like some people, trying to remind you that they are famous.

And most importantly, both Jenna Jameson and Briana Banks have legs that are to fucking skinny. In fact, one begins to wonder how the fuck either of them can even stand up on those little fucking toothpicks. I don’t normally like to comment on some chicks weight but jesus fucking christ, eat a fucking hamburger already. Seriously.
