This post wasn’t about good fun gossip it was just down right mean and attacking some poor guy. So what if he tweets for Briana. I don’t really care.

Maybe she broke her finger and can’t tweet for herself? For all we know she’s on the phone telling the guy what to say while he types it in.

We don’t really know what goes on at her place nor is it our business.

So some of us don’t like the website design of her new site.

Well recent chatter on XBIZ, an industry only message board, tells us that Briana Banks hasn’t been quite as inactive as one may think.   It seems she teamed up with a new partner and is planning on relaunching an official site and has been filming new scenes too and rumor has it she’ll even be releasing more movies on DVD, most likely her first one this year!  Well at least that is the rumor I’m hearing.

In addition to her secret, behind the scenes work she also has been recovering from a really bad car accident for the past few months.  She posted on MySpace that she had a really bad car accident and totaled her BMW”.

There is no news or rumors as to when her new site will be ready for launch but I do look forward to seeing it.  Briana Banks has always been one of my favorites.

The girls had the right idea.  They wanted to venture out on their own, make their own line of movies, control the type of content that went into their website but in the end, all of those great ideas cost money and if you don’t have the money yourself you need to get it from somewhere.  These girls found their investors from outside of the industry.  These mainstream men prior to this venture claimed to have no involvement whatsoever in the porno business.  But now with the swipe of a pen and the handing over of a check they had control of two very popular porn stars, their name, their likeness, their trademarks, their websites.

Having no experience in the business they were bound to make a few mistakes and that included little things like overpaying for web hosting and bandwidth, paying a full time web designer to be on staff at a rate of $4,000 a month despite the fact that he seemed to have no experience with these type of site designs or even the basic knowledge of search engines.   These aren’t that big of a deal though.  These are all little mistakes that in time they could have easily corrected in time.  But some of the biggies really cost the company a lot.  At start the one person who had industry experience got them using NATs as an affiliate software if for no other reason than it was trusted by many adult webmasters and trust is important when dealing with a company you don’t really know.

The investors however didn’t like having to spend money and paid a high priced programmer who did not have adult industry experience, to develop his own affiliate program.

Keep in mind this is the same programmer they paid to develop an in house CMS that cost them tens of thousands of dollars – depending on which account you read anywhere from $40,000 to $80,000 in cost of payroll alone for the programmer.  Problem is the CMS wasn’t up to par with industry standards and wasn’t fully compatible with the affiliate software and as a result you had traffic leaks, which in essence would potentially screw some of their affiliates out of potential earnings.

When asked why they felt the need to re-invent the wheel, why not just go with a CMS like Elevated X who has a $500 setup, $150 a month option that several large industry sites use, even Club Jenna and was fully compatible with NATs, no response was given.

But I’m getting sidetracked.  The point I was trying to make was that an outsider is bound to make some mistakes and those mistakes can often times be costly.  But something still isn’t sitting right with me about this whole story.

The people in question have already invested the money to develop the websites, make at least one movie, the Briana Banks movie called Lustrous.  This movie has been available on DVD and VOD for several months.  However rumor has it the investors dropped the ball with editing in a big way.  Critics are saying it could have been a great movie but the suck ass editing ruined any chance of that.

The investors paid for the girls to attend to adult conventions.  These investors also paid for a large scale advertising campaign this month with XBIZ for their affiliate program.

In all things were starting to look better.  The company was up to nearly 100 affiliates, sales were up for the websites over 130% from the previous 30 days and then just a week after launching the website for Alexis Texas, the investors come in and close things down.

They canceled all memberships to the website, crediting back anyone who was charged in the last 30 days for a membership.  They cut off the websites all together and emails all their affiliates, telling them to remove their links.  They also issued a press release how they have closed.

I don’t know about you but if I spend all of that money, would you want to try and at least recoup some of it?  Why not keep your invention of closing secret a few more days, maybe a week max and try and find a buyer?  Although Alexis Texas is still rather new to the business, Briana Banks is one of the most popular porn stars out there and has been for years.  Her name alone is worth something.  Why not try and make a quick sale?

Why would you get rid of all your members and affiliates, devaluing your product in a major way like that?

What kind of dumb ass investor is this? No man with that kind of money is that stupid. Clearly there is more to this story. It almost sounds like a personal attack on one of the girls.  An act of revenge. Like maybe Briana Banks wouldn’t cough up some pussy or something.

What kind of dumb ass would piss off that kind of investment? Who would go out of their way to devalue their company / investment before even attempting to find a buyer?

The economy sucks right now.  Nobody has that kind of money to just throw around like that and not worry about ever recovering.  Clearly there is something else going on here and I only hope Briana Banks and Alexis Texas have great lawyers.

Starlet Entertainment, StarletBucks Cease Operations

LOS ANGELES — Despite a recent site launch, open casting call, and an upcoming announcement of a new contract star, Starlet Entertainment and its affiliate arm, StarletBucks, has gone out of business.

XBIZ has confirmed that Starlet Entertainment officially closes its doors Sept. 7, after its investors, Tim Agajanian and his silent partner, pulled all funding from the program with reportedly no explanation, and have terminated its staff’s employment.

The company’s two sites, BrianaBanksReloaded.com and AlexisTexass.com — which only just launched Aug. 25 — have been shut down, and though they are still viewable, new members are unable to join.

Agajanian currently is working with Epoch and Starlet’s former billers to credit back recurring members, and all official industry partners have been notified of the company’s closure.

In a letter sent to affiliates earlier this week, Starlet announced that it will pay its affiliates accordingly up until Sept. 5, with checks being mailed this week. They also have been instructed to remove all links and promotional support from their sites.

Are you the next Starlet girl?


So I paid a quickie visit to Briana Banks MySpace page to see if maybe there was something I was missing.  Is there images of a “fat” Briana Banks that maybe I don’t know about and you know what I found?  Proof of how wrong this guy was.  Take a look at this picture below and her amazing body.  Look at her long and luscious legs.   If THAT is fat then damn, I’m confused about what that word means.

Oh and for the record, after showing him some photos he later took back what he said and agreed she does look pretty hot.  Turns out his real issue wasn’t with her weight but instead with her fake eyelashes.  After going through about 30 different photos of her he realized that was what was making her look odd to him.

But that got me thinking about porn girls versus Hollywood girls like Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad and whatnot.  It’s just funny how very different the girls we lust after like Briana Banks, Hanna Hilton, Eva Angelina, and Bree Olson are nothing like what we expect out of our movie stars.   I don’t know the name of that Ally McBeal chick but she is a great example.  How do people really find that attractive?

I guess the point I’m trying to make is how great it is the girls that men secretly lust after in their porn are all real women, with real curves.  Time and again people say they don’t like the body of the new Hollywood Jenna Jameson, they prefer the Jenna Jameson with real curves and some meat on her bones.

Don’t know why I started thinking about it but when I did suddenly my mind wondered to thoughts of the time Paul Thomas was on the set of one of the movies he was directing for Briana Banks and how he brought her to tears, as he discussed how much he hated girls with big fake boobs and how it disgusted him and how looking at them made him want to toss his lunch.  Mind you Briana Banks was about 10 feet away at the time and heard every word.

Then I flashed to the behind the scenes footage I seen once of Paul Thomas working with our very own Love Twins, Lacey and Lyndsey and while directing the girls in a scene made an off hand remark, perhaps not realizing the behind the scenes camera was nearby about how stupid they were and he hopes to never have to work with them again.  Of course I should mention that one of the twins were only about 3 feet away when he made the nasty comment.  I remember watching that footage and thinking to myself what a total douche Paul Thomas was for being so mean to those girls.  They were only doing exactly what he told them to do.  Then scolded them and called them idiots for following his direction. Years later I hear he is still bad mouthing the Love Twins.

Then I remember hearing something about Paul Thomas and Jenna Jameson having issues working together and recall something in the Vivid Valley series where he makes some nasty remarks about her.  With so many Vivid girls having problems with the same guy, did nobody over at Vivid think that maybe just maybe it’s not a problem with the talent it’s a problem with the ego of the director?

Then I let my mind wonder a little more and remember a comment Devon once made about him more than 10 years ago.  It’s been far to long to remember her exact words but I think the phrase “ass hole” was used a few times to describe him.

Is there anyone this guy gets along with?  Apparently not many of the Vivid girls.

Since he’s such a dick to so many of the Vivid girls and this has been a long standing issue going on years now, why do they continue to employ him?  Is it because he wins awards?  Because seriously wouldn’t it make sense that the movies would be better if they had a director who worked better with the girls so you would in theory have a chance at winning even more awards?

In an interview Briana Banks did in Vegas this year she makes a side little comment about enjoying drama free sets.  One can’t help but wonder if the drama she refers to is that which Paul Thomas tends to create with his hostile work environments.

Why would Vivid pay a man to work with their girls who goes out of his way to make them feel like inadequate pieces of shit?

I don’t know why but I can honestly say I didn’t see this coming. I love Briana Banks. Always have. I mean who doesn’t, right? But this is such a huge step and she only recently returned to Vivid after taking an extended leave of absnese.  One can only wonder what caused the split and what the hell is going on over at Vivid or if this is another movie deal like that of Savanna Samson and Sunny Leone.

But some stars are busy. Some stars create a myspace page and then pay someone to keep up with it for them.

Typically this job would mean approving new friend requests, deleting spam comments and posting bulletins under the star’s name when she has something specific going on in her life like a new movie coming out.

Sounds easy enough, right?

Well it seems some stars made a bad decision in their hiring practices and aren’t really staying on top of these people because these companies are using the porn star’s myspace account to be all out spammers and in return leaving a bad taste in the mouth of their dedicated fans — not just because these people are using the porn star’s account to spam but also because they are making these posts pretending to be the star in question.

What it comes down to is that twice a day, at the very least every single day someone is logging onto these star’s myspace pages and posting these spam ass messages to their fans. Apparently this comany thinks the fans are so stupid they don’t know it’s just spam nor do they have enough respect for them not do to this. I am sure they want to keep up with what’s going on with the star but with so many junk messages being posted, when REAL news comes out, it’s mostly just ignored.

What the fuck is wrong with you?   These are your fans you are defrauding and annoying.

What exactly do you think you are getting out of this relationship?  You are a famous porn star.  Why are you letting them use your name to help other whores get more myspace friends?  What the fuck is in it for you?  You are the famous one.  The only thing you are getting out of this is a reputation for fraud from your fans.

Somehow Taylor Rain who hasn’t really been active in quite some time inched out Jesse Jane for the #4 spot, despite the fact that Jesse Jane has a new movie out, and not just any more either. Pirates II is a mega hit so I’m quite surprised to see her drop a spot while Taylor Rain who has done nothing lately goes up.

Mary Carey as #6? Really? How is that even possible that anyone in their right mind would search for her name on the Internet? It has to be that dumb ass VH1 rehab show.  The only other major change was with Vivid Girl Sunny Leone who had a sharp rise from last month to now going from #15 to #9 and Amy Reid who went from #23 to #14 this month.  A very impressive jump for both girls.
