The director / performer takes home multiple trophies at the 2017 AVN Awards and XBIZ Awards.

(HOLLYWOOD, CA) Adult entertainment superstar Angela White (http://angelawhite.com/) receives multiple awards for her critically acclaimed Angela Loves… series. The series is directed by, produced by, and stars Angela in a continuing exploration of her sexuality. Consistently pressing her sexual boundaries, Angela experiences several “firsts” throughout the series. While critics and fans have consistently lauded White's performances, taking home trophies for her work provides tangible proof of these accolades.

At the 2017 AVN Awards, Angela won 'Best Continuing Series' for Angela Loves… and 'Best Gonzo Movie' for “Angela Loves Gonzo.” Additionally, the Angela White Fleshlight won the Fan Favorite vote for 'Most Amazing Sex Toy.'

"I am completely overwhelmed by my wins at the 2017 AVN Awards," said Angela. "I always put immense effort into the production and post-production of my Angela Loves… movies - I perform in them, I direct and produce them, I edit them all myself, I plan all of the wardrobe and art direction, and I am so honoured that the series won ‘Best Continuing Series.’ Any time you win an AVN Award, it is such a privilege. I was genuinely blown away when Angela Loves Gonzo won ‘Best Gonzo Movie.’ To win such an award is extremely humbling for an emerging director like myself. As I said at the time of the movie's release, as a genre, gonzo has had an onslaught of attacks from conservative and anti-porn feminist campaigners for being the most degrading and misogynistic type of pornography. I released Angela Loves Gonzo because I wanted to challenge the assumption that women cannot or should not enjoy rough sex. I am so pleased and honoured that this title was received so well by fans and critics and recognised by AVN. I’d like to thank wholeheartedly not only AVN, but also all the crew, performers, my distributor Girlfriends Films, retailers, and of course my fans, that make my Angela Loves … releases possible.

At the 2017 XBIZ Awards, the 'Angela Loves…’ series won Gonzo Series of the Year.

"From the beginning of my career, the team at XBIZ have been extremely supportive of both me as a performer/director/producer and my online and offline products. Each year, there are so many excellent gonzo titles and ongoing series. Everyday, I feel I have so much more to learn as a performer, director and producer, and to win this award it extremely encouraging and humbling. Last year, my Angela series won the XBIZ Award for ‘All-Sex Series of the Year,’ and to follow that up in 2017 with a ‘Gonzo Series of the Year’ win is amazing. I’d like to thank XBIZ for this honour, all the performers that collaborate with me on screen, my excellent crew, that always do a phenomenal job at capturing my performances and vision, my distributor Girlfriends Films, and the retailers and fans that make these releases possible.
