Porn Stars Beware of the Fake Producer

There always seems to be some sort of jack ass out there pretending to be a real producer and tricking girls into having sex with them or giving them a free blow job.  I can’t tell you how many girls fall for that one.  So I was thinking now might b ea good time to give you some rules to live by …….

  • Never go on an audition or go see alone.  Period.   That is how you get into trouble.  I would also advise you tell the producer in question that you are bringing your friend with you.  No legitimate producer would have a problem with you bringing a friend. They realize it’s a safety issue for young girls out there and if they have a problem with you bringing your friend, don’t go to the audition.
  • When going on an audition for a movie or a “go see” as some call it, you should be wary of them asking you to have sex with them or their friend.  Legit producers aren’t going to do that.    The only really sexual act I can think might be involved in an audition would be for something like a deep throat movie in which they may ask you to show you are capable by deep throating an option like a dildo or a piece of fruit.   Besides trying to scam you out of free sex sometimes they are trying to scam you out of free scenes so they will try and record it.  DON’T FALL FOR THIS COMMON SCAM!
  • Ask the producer for references of other porn stars he has worked with in the past.  Get at least 3 to 5 names of girls you know.  If they can’t provide names of real girls that you know for a fact are in the industry then avoid working with this guy and also check the references.  Just because someone says they have worked with a pron star in the past doesn’t mean it’s true.
  • Times are tough and you have to be firm when it comes to your money so always ask for cash up front.  Be careful of accepting checks.  Know in advance before going on a job if a company has had payment issues and bouncing checks.  For example Bluebird Films has had a lot of payment issues so you wouldn’t want to accept work from them without knowing they are going to pay you in cash that day.  They’ve not only not paid more people than I could even try and name but in the past there has also been reports of them bouncing checks.  So if you do work for them, be firm and demand cash up front.  Trust me when I say, if they have no problem fucking 30 other people, why wouldn’t they do the same to you?  Also never accept money orders.  They are far to easily faked.  If someone wants to pay you with a money order have them send a PA to cash it and pay you with the cash.
  • When someone tells you they are a producer or scout for a major company like Vivid, Wicked Pictures or Playboy, immediately be weary.  These companies don’t tend to employ scouts and it is an often use excuse to scam girls out of free sex or free scenes.
  • If someone offers you an abnormally large amount of money for a scene then it’s probably a scam.  You know how much you normally make for a scene so if someone is suddenly offering much more you have to remember what your parents always said … if it sounds to good to be true, you know it probably is.
  • If a producer doesn’t have a real email address or uses a free email service like yahoo or hotmail, you are probably being scammed.  Real producers and studios all have real email addresses from established company websites.
  • If you have a booking agent or work with an agency for bookings and feel uncertain about a producer refer them to your agent / agency.  If they don’t want to work with them for any reason – beware.  Even if their excuse seems plausible.  All legitimate producers will have no problem going through your agent.
  • Don’t work for free or let others trick you into a free scene in which they will profit from by releasing it on DVD.  If a person wants to “trade scenes” for your website make sure you don’t sign away DVD distribution or VOD rights.  Make sure that any agreement you sign only allows them to show the scenes on their website and yours.
