Ex-Eliot Spitzer madam Kristin Davis’ to challenge Andrew Cuomo in New York gubernatorial election
NYDailyNews is reporting Kristin Davis, the ex-madam who supplied call girls for Eliot Spitzer when he was attorney general and governor, has gotten herself on the November ballot. Davis procured 23,000 signatures – more than the 15,000 required – in support of her candidacy as an independent challenger to Andrew Cuomo. She’ll be the first woman in New York history to run for the office while on probation (for one count of promoting prostitution in the third degree). Among those who signed in support of her pro-marijuana, pro-gay marriage candidacy were comic Prof. Irwin Corey and “True Blood”s crazy vampire king Denis O’Hare.
She is running on a libertarian platform of legalizing prostitution, marijuana and same sex marriage, and firearms rights. Davis invites contributors to “get FOK’d” by becoming a Friend Of Kristin. She has stated a goal of raising $2 million for her campaign. Kristen stated:
I am confident that I can collect more than enough signatures from cadres of escorts, ex-escorts, strippers, dancers, dommes, gays, lesbians, Libertarians, Ron Paul supporters, U.S. Marines, rappers who revere the pimp or other lovers of freedom moving my petitions under the direction of my communications consultant Frank Morano.
