Little Pink Book may sound like the name of a movie of the week about some famous madame but in reality it’s the newest talent agency. You can find out more about them at www.littlepinkbook.biz
Introducing a New Kind of Talent Agency
(San Francisco, CA) The Adult industry is full of agencies, but none quite like this. Award-winning Indie pornographer Courtney Trouble has decided to throw her hat in the ring and open Little Pink Book, a sex positive talent management and casting agency specializing in alternative, BDSM, fetish, queer, lesbian and trans performers in Adult and Indie films. The idea behind the agency is to establish ethical and professional casting assistance to unique authentic performers, who haven’t been able to attain representation in the Adult and/or mainstream agency world.
Little Pink Book’s website, LittlePinkBook.Biz, is up and running with a database of over 100 established and aspiring performers, including 2009’s Feminist Porn Awards’ Heartthrob of the Year, Dylan Ryan, and fetish model Sarah Lee Sinful—both have appeared on Troubles’ films for Reel Queer Productions/ Good Releasing and NoFauxxx.Com.
“I have been told consistently that one of my greatest traits as a pornographer is my ability to cast the right person for the right project,” says Courtney Trouble. “Cultivating healthy working relationships with my performers has always been my biggest goal in this industry, and moving forward to promote these artists seems like the next logical step.”
The agency has been open just a few days, but Trouble has big plans for the coming year and beyond. “There has been a lot of great work done in female-friendly filmmaking over past year, but no work has been done to connect the Indie, feminist, and queer genres to the mainstream,” says Trouble. “I hope to achieve a working relationship between Indie and the mainstream, by being a resource for casting and ethical business practices. It’s time to take this groundbreaking work behind the scenes into performer relations!”

About Courtney Trouble
Courtney Trouble began her career in the Adult industry as a phone sex operator, dispatcher and web designer at the age tender age of 18. At 19, she created her first porn website, the award-winning NoFauxxx.com (www.nofauxxx.com ). Established in 2002, Trouble is the sole owner and manager. NoFauxxx.com (www.nofauxxx.com ) was San Francisco’s Bay Guardian’s Editor’s Choice for Best Queer Porn Site in 2009 and has garnered a 2010 Feminist Porn Awards nomination for Best Porn Site.
In 2009, she released nine films with Good Releasing. Her first film, No Fauxxx Roulette, won a Feminist Porn Award for Most Diverse Cast. No Fauxxx Roulette and Speakeasy were nominated for 2010’s AVN’s Best Soundtrack category and six of her films have been nominated for the 2010 Feminist Porn Awards.
When Trouble’s not being a director/pornographer, she moonlights as a porn performer and goes by the name Trouble—she has appeared in Champion, Furry Girl’s Cocksexual, Shine Louise Houston’s Wild Search, Madison Young’s Layover and her own movies including No Faux Roulette, Nostalgia and Roulette Dirty South. Being behind and in front of the camera helps her know the ins and outs and all sides of the industry.
2010 will definitely be the year of Courtney Trouble with the release of Bordello, a film which she and Alt porn director Eon McKai came together to make, that has received rave reviews, and the opening of Little Pink Book, a sex positive talent management and casting agency specializing in alternative, BDSM, fetish, queer, lesbian and trans performers in Adult and Indie films.
