Adult Stars Magazines Auctions Itself Off on Ebaby

According to a story recently posted on XBIZ, Adult Stars Magazine goes on the auction block.  They will be auctioning off all of their domain names and the associated trademarks of those domain names on EBay.  Would be a great domain name if nothing else to start your own online magazine with.

After 14 years in the adult business, it’s time for ASM to move in another direction,” Publisher David Santa said.  “We hope our URLs find a good home and bring as much success to the new owner as it has for us after so many years,” Santa added.

Adult Stars Magazine was founded in 1996 and has produced movies such as “I Dream of Teeny.” The magazine also launched the online Porno News Network and hosted the Adult Consumer Choice awards.

The magazine had also expanded into talent management and helped launch the careers of a number of stars, including Jill Kelly, a former ASM vice president, adult studio owner and performer.

The ebay auction lasts for about 7 more days and you can view it HERE.  The starting bid is $500 and includes 10 URLs and their associated Trademarks.

Adult Stars Magazine  upon completion of the bidding process will begin the transfer process including the Trade Mark.  United States Patent and Trademark. URL’s For auction:

  • adultstarsmagazine.com
  • adultstarsmagazine.mobi
  • adultstarsmagazines.com
  • adultstarsmanagement.com
  • adultstarsmanagement.net
  • adultstarsgallery.com

  • gasmmagazines.com

Although some of the domain name suck, some are quite a find, including the main one of adultstarsmagazine.com, which in itself is easily worth $500, based really on the keywords alone, which then would go up in value based on the fact that you also get the trademark for it. But just to be clear the domain name is not as old as the ad suggests – it was not first regged in 1995. The reg date on this domain shows 2006. That’s not that big of a deal since the package deal comes with 9 other domain names and potentially some other trademarks but if I were going to be the buyer I would make sure that the deal also included their company MySpace page and see if they would throw in any other assets like rights to their movie they talk about. I mean mind as well try – the economy is in the shitter right now so prices on pretty much everything is down. Mind as well try and get the most bang for your buck!
