So this chick loved The Spice Girls, who had just recently broken up. She especially loved the Posh one, tried to be just like her. I guess it was cute.
But the fact that she wasn’t succumbing to my charm made me really step it into high gear, and I came up with a wonderful plan.
I got on the phone in my office and called their old management company in England, said Larry Flynt is a big fan and was wondering if he could get an autographed photo of the band.
“But they’ve broken up?” the lady said.
“I know, I know. Just, if you can do anything that would be super awesome. I’ve been screwing up here at the office lately and it would really help me out if you could do it for me.”
One week later I got a package in the mail from the Spice Girls. It was an autographed photo of four of them, minus the ugly one who quit a few years before the rest of them.
So I called the chick and said I had a surprize for her. She said it would have to wait ’cause she was on a romantic weekend with her boyfriend. That was the last time I spoke to her.
But I found the Spice Girls signed photo this morning and all this just came back to me.
