INGLEWOOD, Calif. As many as six current and former Inglewood police officers are under investigation for allegedly having sex at massage parlors and other adult businesses targeted in a recent crackdown.
The L-A Times reports the police department became aware of the allegations after federal agents began investigating Asian women being smuggled into Los Angeles. Evidence includes "very detailed ledgers" that indicate officers were given sexual favors without paying.
None of the officers under investigation have been fired, though some have retired or left the city for other departments, sources told the newspaper.
