Teen finds topless photos of herself on MySpace
PORT CHARLOTTE — Authorities are investigating how a photograph of a partially nude juvenile made it onto MySpace, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office report.
The Port Charlotte teenager told deputies that at about 9 a.m. Sunday she found topless photos of herself on a MySpace page after a friend told her to go to the social networking Web site.
She also told investigators that she had not taken any topless pictures.
She said she found numerous photos of herself on the site, but by the time investigators reached her home to check it, only two photos remained, the report said.
“It is believed that the owner of the MySpace account became aware of the fact that the juvenile found out about the Web site and began to delete the photos,” a deputy wrote in the report.
