Stormy Daniels entered the adult industry as a house dancer at the Gold Club in her native city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She immediately set her sights on becoming a feature entertainer and entered as many pageants as she could, winning almost every competition. This allowed her to be booked solid as top dancer on the circuit, where she continues to wow audiences with her award-winning burlesque shows, complete with over $20,000 in costumes!
The magazines quickly took notice and in less than two years, Stormy had graced the pages and covers of all of them. She landed more covers in her short time than any other model to date. Her magazine credits include multiple layouts in: Penthouse, Playboy, Score, Club, Cheri, Hustler, Mayfair, Bizarre, Fox, Leg Show, Gallery, Australias Picture Premium, Maxim, OUI, and High Societywhere she is the reining Centerfold of the Year and now a monthly columnist! She also the acting Sex Advisor of FHM Mexico, with a column and two-page spread each month.
Hungry for more exposure, Stormy made her way to Los Angeles and began her work in the Adult Film Industry in 2002. Almost immediately, she signed as an Exclusive Contract Star for Wicked Pictures and began to immerse herself into every aspect of the business. She also signed a deal for her own adult novelty line with California Exotic Novelties and launched her website: ClubStormy.com. With less than four months under contract, Stormy wrote her first screenplay for the company. She later went on to pen more than half of the big movies for the company and pick up a Best Screenplay trophy from AVN for her efforts.
At her first AVN, Stormy won the coveted Starlet of the Year award from AVN. Within the year, she also received Adam Film Worlds Contract Babe of the Year, Nightmoves Best Actress, KSEX radios Sexiest PJ for her radio show, and was the only adult actress to be named one of The 50 Sexiest Women of the Year by Femme Fatale Magazine.
Always eager for more, Stormy began directing for Wicked in the summer of 2004. Her first films One Night in Vegas and Second Thoughts were so well received that with only two titles under her belt, Stormy won two Best New Director awards!
Her mainstream work is unprecedented for an adult star with such a short time in the industry. She starred on HBOs series Pornucopia as they followed her during her starring performance in Wicked Pictures Space Nuts. She also appeared in mainstream movie hits The Girl Next Door and Universal Studios blockbuster The 40 Year Old Virgin which also included one of her very own dvd extras! She recently landed a part on the new series Dirt as a reoccurring character and did a guest spot on Comedy Centrals number one rated show Mind of Mencia. Stormy was profiled as one of the adult industrys most powerful women in the book Naked Ambition for which she traveled the continent, reading her piece on radio stations and at store signings where she consistently had the largest crowd response. She is the only pornstar to have posed for world famous artist Howard Austin Feld and have her own cartoon character (BrickhouseBetty.net). With her desire to combine her love for music with her work, Stormy began traveling the globe hosting parties for the World Party and Wet Grooves.
Her marketing includes everything from being the spokesmodel for a sunglass company to a licensing deal with Scorpio Posters (scorpioposters.com) for her own posters and calendars which sees her image in all mainstream retail outlets. Such exposure has lead to her making signing appearances at not only adult-themed conventions, but also at such places as the DUB show and the Nightclub and Bar show and being the official hostess of the annual outdoor concert Manfest. It also enabled her to pick up two Mainstream Media Favorite awards at the start of 2006 and be profiled in GQ Magazine.
This year, the enterprising young starlet shows no sign of slowing down! Also in 2006 Stormy has picked up a Best Actress trophy from the Temptation awards, Best Breasts from the FAME awards, and Adult Movie Feature Entertainer of the Year from the Exotic Dancer awards. She has also landed her own mainstream series Xposed with Stormy (xposedwithstormy.com) which will see her jet setting across the globe to profile the wildest party spots on earth. Already considered a triple threat in the adult business as an award-winning performer, writer, and director, Stormy has now added producer to her long list of job titles! With the formation of her own film company Stormy Entertainment, she is the youngest producer in the industry.
