Comedian`s sex claim draws Stewart`s ire
LONDON, England (UPI) — Rod Stewart has launched a verbal tirade against Russell Brand in London in reaction to the comedian`s claim that he slept with the singer`s daughter.
The Daily Mail reported that when Stewart took the stage at the Royal Opera House recently to accept an outstanding achievement award from GQ magazine, he openly responded to the Channel 4 comic`s earlier claim that he once had sex with the singer`s 27-year-old daughter, Kimberly.
When the 31-year-old comedian admitted to Stewart that he did indeed take Kimberly out one night but did not touch her, the 61-year-old singer immediately went on the offensive, the newspaper said.
‘Fucking right you didn`t,’ Stewart said in front of the hushed audience. ‘You mustn`t come up here and boast. I speak here as a father.’
Brand is a confessed womanizer, currently under investigation by authorities over allegations that he raped a 20-year-old woman during a recent Edinburgh festival, the newspaper said.
